I have read LOTM,TBATE,ORV etc.. but the sheer future insight in making the story building,character development,every arcs villians are unique,normal fights in novel are unique and helping create swift narrative to imagine the characters fights and thoughts into perspective is pretty goood.

9.5/10 less filler ,more story ,more cool interactions,amon like character,i mean it has it all .i would recommened it everyone who wants to start novels in general....

Good novel, I'll update this review later on to add more things to say in detail. For now I'll just say to read this incase you're hesitating, it's worth it 👍

Fact If your Favorite novel is Reverend Insanity then Shadow  is not your cup of tea

You will appreciate it's writing, plot  characters, and everything except the mc

Dropped ss after ch 1000 like 2 years Ago, when mc went to Antarctica to save people, it's good but it just doesn't hit that spot, you want a peak novel to hit , instead it makes me want to punch the mc

And there are a lots of plot armor, none of the main cast dies , and I hate MC's sister 

You will Enjoy it if your fav isn't RI, it will be 100/10 read for you 

But for some whose fav is RI, this is 6/10 

SS is a good definition of starting off too strong, first nightmare i was hooked, forgotten shore was an arc that will forever be in my heart but due to that start the it was obvious when the quality dropped, the side characters started to get bland after the antarctica arc, mordret was turned into just an edgy guy who hates his dad sunny and the rest start doing the same things as before their character development making it seem like they never changed also the author limits his own power system. aspects have unlimited possiblities of varying powers yet he stickes to the basics like flames, shadows, blood. Plot is still kinda good but the rest is iffy this was made when i finished the valor vs song arc

I love this novel and wish to read more. My only critique would be the pacing sometimes I feel like I'm reading too much and some times I feel like I'm not reading enough. Overall would recommend.

Peak fiction along with RI and LOTM, nephis is a baddie. Sunny is an amazing mc, Cassie is just Cassie. I hate the powercreep though, but it's sensible and only a mild annoyance.

This was one of my first webnovels but I am an experienced anime fan and have watched over 200 animes and over a 100 manhwas and manga and I have to say this is the only peice of fiction that has made me so obsessed with it especially considering the fact that the first time I read it was during an examination but I still read over 1900 chapters in 3 weeks and have been religiously following the daily chapters since September last year and this really deserves the top ranking. I really love Sunny's character of more of a nice guy than a hero my favorite quote of his " I would help someone if they were in trouble in front of me but wouldn't risk my life for a bunch of strangers I've never met because noone cared about me when I was in trouble" so if you like action, world building, horror and peak story telling this novel is for you
