Peak Novel Ngl , It deserves to be in top 10

Sunny ( MC ) actually has a brain and knows who to attack and whom not to attack

Nephis ( FM ) is just not their to stroke Sunny's ego and is an actual part of the story and is well though out

Cassie ( FM 2 ) is also a good character, you might hate her at the start but she had her reasons and is a cunning witch and not just some blind damsel in distress 

All other characters are well thought and actually play a huge part even in later chapters

The Villains Are actually Fukin Smart?!

Surprise~ Surprise ~, they actually have a backbone and ability and are not third rate 

The world building is good and is well fleshed out with proper landmarks or area names and their is a alot of lore to theories about them ,yet their is still alot left to be discovered.

The power system, whether it be going through the ranks or learning Sorcerer is very unique and not something you will see everywhere. Fuk even side characters have good abilities with proper descriptions

Overall though Shadow Slave is quite a grind and as a newbie one will not like it but once you have read a few novels you can read SS and you will love it~.

Overall SS is an 10/10 Novel for me.

The first Nightmare was really good I genuinely enjoyed it. The main character came across as intelligent and resourceful, someone who knew how to use his mind. Unfortunately, after around chapter 350, things started to go downhill. He essentially became Nephis’s lapdog, stopped thinking for himself, and spent most of his time praising the female characters especially that whole forgiveness arc with the woman. I’m not saying he needed to be overpowered or a genius, but he shouldn’t have been so timid or constantly hiding behind others.

Up until chapter 350, it was a solid story. But after that? Meh. Sunny no longer felt like the protagonist to me. At some point, I even started thinking Nephis would’ve made a better main character. Sunny felt more like a side character there just to boost Nephis’s development.

Absolute peak. For me there were barely any unenjoyable parts (Except for Rain Povs lol) Definitely is a must-read, amount of plot twists are crazy. The fights are crazy detailed and last a long time, most of the story has great build up and character growth.

Peak writing, It's the type of novel that will grow with you— I mean, that's what happened on me, I picked up this novel 2 years ago, and to this this day, it's still ongoing...I mean, its not of without flaws, but the story, superb...

I was completely hooked from the first Arc.

Shadow Slave has everything I love—great world-building, action, and a main character you can really root for. 

10/10 would recommend 

first webnovel i ever read, i truly never got bored even through the rain chaps. this story is a great beginner novel and all in all a great book. i got hooked in the first 15 chapters when sunny got blessed by shadow god, and ever since then it kept on improving. the aura moments like shadow lantern description depicting the convo between war god (fraud) and shadow god (the best most strongest god) was just too cold, literally sent shivers down my spine. i remember reading the sovergin fight day after day waiting for it to come out, my heart was litterally on the verge of exploding when the fight first started (no joke i was that hyped) and it didnt disapoint. some people compalin about filler, i didnt even notice any filler that was detrimental to the story becuase of how good it is, those people most definitley have very trash reading comprehenisons. my fav chaps are,: 14, 81, the whole soul tree devoruing arc( especially 81),102, when he meets kai,277, 278, 350, when he got shadow god blood, sky below arc is one of my favs. second nm was decent espeically when he kills the war maidens and the final battle against the saints,  his whole chilling with nephis arc, ALL OF ANTARTICA (RIP COHORT), the duel he had with morgan was good and him killling valor and song forces as master was cold asf, loved the dire fang fight, all of third nightmare was great even with slow start, got me hooked with the 13 million particiapants thing the spell showed them, 7th god reveal( broke my mind),his duel with nephis as lord of shadows, his master sunless days and actually all of the sunphis moments which dont feel forced at all (best couple in all of fiction fr),all his flashbacks, him aura farming as los in vol 9 , all the fights with condy, (anvil killing it then sunny killing its shadow in shadow realm) talk with eurys, forging the blessing, sovergin fight,  all of death game, espically 2410 biggest reveal oat. now we should talk my glorious king sunless, one of the best mcs  ever, he is smart and cunning, funny and odd/cringe, and the best. he always makes me giggle. okay done with yap fest, go READ SHADOW SLAVE.

Didn’t think much of it at first, but Shadow Slave hits different.

It’s dark, gritty, and doesn't hold your hand—which I respect. 

Sunny’s not your typical hero, and that’s what makes it so d*mn good.

If you're into stories with deep lore, good action and romance(though a but late) , this one’s for you.

Twp hours ago it was 4,8 , just earlier it was 4,1, now it's 4,5 again.   And all the positiv reviews get disliked en masse...
