Can someone make me why there is a romance classification instead of horror brother have you read the novel
I know the romance is well written and It adds depth to the characters. , but I'm trembling with fear here.
Simply the best, the lore in this novel is unmatched. I dont know how the author keeps coming up with all of these complex and satisfying plots.
It's my first light novel and so far it's been incredible I'm at chapter 513 and it's been nothing if not peak from the world building to the lore and charcter development. I also checked out a few other novel's and found that so far atleast for me this is the best translated to english. So solid first pick.
peak, really good character development, love the world building and how the Author shows the world. A lot of people don't like it for the reason that the MC is stupid and dumb, and I say HELL NO. If anything I love the MC because of how much people can realate to him, he isn't some generic and common MC like "I want to be the strongest ever", or "I will defeat the demon lord". The MC has simple goals and yet also imagines himself achiving larger goals. Idk why so many people hate him, hes not pathetic, he just doesn't know/want to live such a terrible life filled with fighting and fighting. Other than that I also love the side characters, and main antagonists. I like how they slowly reveal more and more about the world, the power system and the people who run it/who are on the top of the worlds power. I hope that this novel will have the ending it deserves and it will get a manwha or hopefully a good anime adaptaion. Overall this is easily my top 5 in novel/books I have read, could go up depending on the ending.
Also THX GuiltyThree for making this, absolutely love your work 🙏
Easily one of the best novels I've read. The experiments G3 does to break some tedious parts of the story he chooses to write are very good, and he evolves characters if they become too repetitive. The romance is amazing, and now that it'll get stronger once one of the strongest creatures in the world is killed is genius.
The writing the drama and atmosphere is the coolest I've ever read. It got me hyped it made me sad,and I'm happy i found this gem of a masterpiece.Forgotten shore is the GOAT for me by the way.
I’ve read up to chapter 2285, and while this series has some good points, it didn’t fully hold my interest — maybe because I finished Reverend Insanity before it, which is hard to beat.
The mystery and pacing are nice, but the Underworld arc feels too straightforward. The characters don’t feel truly alive; they’re more like pieces of the plot than independent individuals with real choices.
The main issue for me is the protagonist, the so-called Shadow Lord. His emotional hesitations drag the story down, stopping him from making the bold moves I’d expect from someone in his position. I prefer his 'Mad Prince' version, where he’s far more decisive and ruthless.
Still, the series has strong elements, and Noctis stands out as the best character by far."
The issues I have with it is that tech doesn't seem to be used very creatively to help fight the nightmare creatures
Nephis is very bland character till 1500 chapters untill then no character development is visible for her
