Have you ever or read or seen a piece of literature and went: " wow the characters are all dumb for falling for that" or " the mc appears smart but that's because everyone else is brain dead." ?

Well not in here.

All of the characters are smarter than you, even the ones who are not geniuses still have common sense and in fact making them brilliant will not be consistent with their character.

Have a theory about the current circumstances?

The mc has dozens.

Think that there's a conspiracy brewing in the background?

Wrong, it's at least fifteen levels of mysteries on top of each other.

That's just a single aspect of the novel.

The mc is (in my opinion) one of the best in all fiction, Because he's simple.

He's realistic.

He likes money but is still aware of it's actual value and will spend it ( with a bleeding heart) on what he believes matter.

He loves of women but still respects them.

He is a man of justice but he's not delusional.

He will kill those who believes are monsters without flinching and still be kind to those who deserve it.

His goals appears simple, but at the core everyone goals are in fact simple.

This grounds him into a realistic standard.

There is also the world building, the power system, the emotional stakes and the novel descriptions.

Unfortunately I have  been yapping for too long in this review.

Truly one of the best novels to grace any online site. The way it insinutates the palette but leaves you wanting you more; In case you have any hesitation in reading this, I am saddened to say that your doubts are well founded as it will be quite difficult to feel the same mental stimulation from reading this novel. Do you enjoy mature relatable characters? Do like to immerse yourself and weave yourself into adventure? Brim yourself from the toe to capful of wonder? If yes, then this novel is for you.

i read to chapter 65 a year ago and dropped it, and after being bored of ss i gave it a try again. and i am very thankful i did this. i read it all in a WEEK and a half and im rereading it rn. lotm is truly a masterpiece of worldbuilding, lore, mystieres, action, charcters. I remeber when I used to keep on reading for every tarot club meeting to be hit with the craziest lore drops from rosselles notebook. i remember genuinely freaking out when amon started chanting celestial wortyh at end of vol 5, no novel ever has made me actually scream in horror, but this one has,  i remeber crying when klein said "i wont lose anything, just myself", every chapter as merlin and gehrman feeling as a genuine adventure, romaing around as sherlock, becoming a tycoon and being hella rich like dwanye. I remeber sitting in my moms car for hours while she was out shopping, she asked me "do you want to come with me?" I said no becuase of LOTM and read until klein became seq 4 with that ritual, i remember every event vivildy, especially vol 6 and the reveal about the world. OKAY I AM JUST YAPING NOW LOTM IS THE BEST ( im gonan read COI at last was scared since people called it trash but i wanna read it)

From the very first chapter, LOTM grabs you with its immersive world-building and refuses to let go. Set in a Lovecraftian-Victorian steampunk world fused with cosmic horror, secret organizations, and alchemical mysticism, the setting feels richly textured and alive. Cuttlefish That Loves Diving doesn’t just throw random fantasy elements together — every concept, from the 22 Sequences to the hidden deities, is carefully layered, foreshadowed, and paid off. The lore is deep but never overwhelming, and the world evolves with the plot, not just around it.

At the center of this masterpiece is Klein Moretti, one of the most well-written protagonists in web fiction. He starts as a curious, slightly naive scholar, and gradually transforms into the enigmatic Fool — a godlike figure pulling the strings of the world. His journey is emotional, logical, terrifying, and awe-inspiring. Importantly, he grows. Every choice, every loss, and every revelation adds to his depth. Unlike typical protagonists, Klein is both relatable and epic — a balance few authors ever manage to strike.

The side characters are just as compelling. Audrey, Fors, Alger, and even minor characters have strong personal arcs and motivations. They don’t exist to prop up Klein — they have lives, secrets, and growth of their own. Their interactions through the Tarot Club meetings are some of the most unique and satisfying scenes in the novel — subtle, layered, and dripping with tension and intrigue.

Plot-wise, LOTM is a masterclass in slow-burn storytelling. Foreshadowing is everywhere, and nothing is wasted. Seemingly small moments in early chapters become critical a thousand chapters later. Every arc ends with a twist that makes you look back and realize the clues were right there. The horror, suspense, politics, and action are all in perfect balance. It’s never predictable, yet never unfair.

Finally, the prose itself is excellent — elegant, controlled, and atmospheric. The philosophical themes — identity, destiny, power, madness — are handled with intelligence and restraint.

LOTM doesn’t just tell a story. It builds a universe, tears it apart, and reshapes it before your eyes. That’s what makes it peak fiction.

The Lotm Volume 1 (Clown) anime will consist of 13 episodes and two special episodes. Each episode is between 30 and 40 minutes long and could be dubbed in up to eight languages. Its premiere is scheduled for June 28th (the day our protagonist transmigrated). You can watch it for free on the Muse Asia YouTube channel.

For someone who valued his humanity so much to voluntarily give it up for others.

To make the God of Deceit and Trickery call you CrAzY.

From pretending to be a God to actually become one in just 3 years.

Introducing you to our Lonely Fool who loved the World.

Ngl, I loved everything about this novel..... be it the characters, lore, detailing, power system, world building, slice of slice, twists but the ending felt rushed.

Serious, intelligent, complex, rich...

one cannot not get immersed in it whether it's cause of complex characters or mysteries and world building. So many anchors in the story from the MC to the background characters to the weekly Tarot Club that you will be literally counting the days for. Simply a masterpiece.

This is the BEST webnovel created. Ever. And it's not even a contest. It's so good that it can compete with published works written by accomplished authors. For a webnovel, that's absolutely insane. Writing chapters everyday with this good of a quality is actually illegal. Insane plot, realistic characters (no "NPC's"), beautiful descriptions, it will make you stay up at night just to keep reading. Some people say volume one is slow, but I thought the pacing was fine, so judge for yourself.
