Really good novel with good worldbuilding and plot to say the least. Engaging main character though sometimes the side characters are lost in his shadow.

Another Peak Novel

This literally created a bunch of copycats, and that the setting and uniqueness is sooooo good that i don't mind that there is a lot of copycats because i want to read more novels similar to this one, heh

"Alabado sea El Loco".

This is the best webnovel I have read so far, what is really interesting about this novel in my opinion is that the power system can even compete with heavy novels like Mistborn by Brandon, besides that The MC and worldbuilding is one of the best

Highly recommended if you are into a story that has strong world-building, complex characters, steampunk vibes, a lot of twists, and instead of direct action, the fights are about outsmarting the opponent. Final Fight was too good. It's the best story I've ever read. It started slow, but after reading volume 2, I couldn't stop. Klein is my favourite MC. He has everything I would expect from a main character: very clever, kind, sometimes funny, brave, yet relatable. He is not the type of MC who just blindly believes in justice, but a type of MC who is morally grey. Love the world building and side characters, not to mention Amon gave me ptsd, and Adam gave me goosebumps several times. The twist at the end of volume one got me hooked, and the rest is history. If you are new to this novel, give it a try. Volume 1 is all about information, and the last 30 to 40 chapters of volume 1 are really important. Praise the fool🃏

Lord of the Mysteries isn't just a dark fantasy or a culture novel. It's a carefully written, complex story filled with symbolism, unforgettable characters, and a world that engulfs you. It's a modern webnovel masterpiece.

1. Consistent Writing Quality: From prologue to epilogue, the prose in Cuttlefish of the Sky is elegant, polished, and coherent. There are no noticeable drops in quality or pointless filler moments. The narrative maintains a balance between tension, mystery, and development.

2. Unique Power System: The “Potion Paths” system is one of the most original offerings in the genre. It blends occultism, alchemy, rituals, mysticism, tarot cards, and Lovecraftian horror with a gripping logical rigor.

3. Memorable Protagonist: Klein Moretti is not your typical overpowered protagonist. He is intelligent, cautious, ironic, and human. His evolution from detective to cosmic entity is organic and emotionally impactful.

4. Brutal Worldbuilding: The world is based on an alternate Europe during the Industrial Revolution, but fused with divine entities, cults, mad gods, and ancient secrets. There are multiple factions, each with complex and deep motivations.

I mean, after almost half a year, rereading this made me understand the story better and see how everything was connected, I will never retract that LOTM is my favorite novel and one of the best out there.

10/10 The best webnovel ever made. Volume 6 Peak fiction. Not really a fan of open endings but it's such a minor thing that it still clears every other webnovel. First time reading getting through the first 10 ch. was kinda hard but after that I was completely hooked and finished the webnovel in 3 weeks by reading 10 hours a day. Some characters deserved more character development imo but the book is still peak.

This one hits different. Several years later was randomly browsing on a webtoon site, then saw LOTM manhua, got curious, finished it day one got lost in the sauce(its unique theme sucked me in) then started reading the novel. Then i looked for other novels to read cuz this one was PEAK why wouldn't the others be peak too? There were other good ones too but couldn't find any as PEAK as this one so i decided to not compare any other novel to LOTM. For me its 10/10 and its the only one.
