Most comprehensive and enjoyable book out there.

I read this 4yrs ago now rereading it after the donghua. There are so many details. You read once you get the gist of story . You re-read it, then you understand how big of a brain wrote all these details and foreshadowing .

I love shadow slave, Reverend insanity but my no 1 will always be LOTM. It made me cry at times too. This is how immersive this book is

It was just perfect

the starting might be slow but the payoff was worth

The world building was really great

My current fav novel

It is just the jack of all trades as you can find something for everyone

Even if you like character, worlds building it is here

What can I say, it was my first novel so I'm gonna be biased but it defo deserves the hype and all. Although it was kinda hard to read at first but as u go on and on u want to read more that's how addictive it was for me. Although it has some things that could be better but which novel doesn't have those so just read it man.

In the waves of steam and machinery, who could achieve extraordinary? In the fogs of history and darkness, who was whispering? I woke up from the realm of mysteries and opened my eyes to the world.

Firearms, cannons, battleships, airships, and difference machines. Potions, divination, curses, hanged-man, and sealed artifacts… The lights shone brightly, yet the secrets of the world were never far away. This was a legend of the “Fool”.

You should read LotM if you haven't already. It is THE poster child of novels, and is truly deserving of its title.

5/5 would taste a demoness again...
