RI isn’t a typical novel, the MC is straight-up evil and does not have a moral compass so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea and nope, he doesn’t have a redemption arc later either, so don’t expect him to suddenly go soft or turn “good” lol, it’s definitely slow-paced at times, but honestly i think the buildup at the end of every volume is totally worth the drag~ (＾▽＾) i’ve read a lot of stuff, but this one still remains my absolute favorite work of art  something about it resonated so deeply with that raw feeling of just wanting to be free  and immortal, it was such a breath of fresh air compared to all the morally perfect MCs we usually get, and i’ll never forget it. It's such a shame it was banned but i hope to this day that we will get an ending one day in the future ಥ_ಥ

It is the best novel you will ever it and the MC is mt favourite character in fiction. If only this was not banned!! Well 100/100 for this novel from me. 

Reverend insanity stands out as one of,  if not the best webnovel in the cultivation genre. And a major reason for that is Fang Yuan, who I would go as far to day is the best main character in all of webnovel. Watching him overcome obstacles and persevere through hardship is just amazing all the way through.

The whole thing feels like it's trying way too hard to be edgy and deep. Every single interaction is some 4D chess move. No warmth, no stakes that matter. Just “I planned this 100 chapters ago” over and over again. Got tired quick tbh.

I liked the beginning, not gonna lie. It was refreshing seeing a ruthless MC for once. But then it just… never evolved. Same tricks, same cold logic, same lack of anything resembling emotion. Kinda feels like the author is afraid of actual character development.

The special thing about fang yuan is that  he doesn't change throughout the story. he is true to his self. Everything else ist just a byproduct of him chasing his one goal. He could die any moment and he wouldn't regrett a thing. Fang yuan defines the demonic path, staying true to one's self even in death

That also why everything he does makes so much sense to us readers. The fact that we get to know his self early on, we get to expect him to behave like he does, as he doesn't change. We perfectly understand who Fang Yuan is and will be, and thus admire that part of him.

I really like Fang Yuan personality. The perfect main character for this story. I hope this novel gets unbanned soon. After reading this, i have changed very much from my past self. 

I'd carve my own heart for Fang yuan, I'd refine myself for him, my love for Fang yuan transcends expression

Best piece of fiction i ever read it my life

I read it 4 years ago and still i haven't found anything better than this

I have read and consume countless fictions in these last 4 years but none could make me feel that they are better than Ri
