Path of the Extra

Same as this authors other novel so here we go again. Clichés which are not implemented well, in fact its too poorly executed. The author has no brains , not for story nor writing, don't even start about characters, that's the worst part. He tried but wasn't qualified. 2/10 trash

So I decided to leave a review to ease my head and heart. This novel is a low mid tier novel. As I read to ch170 and onwards I came to the conclusion that Hazes novel is dogshit stop trying to write novels and focus on your studies. It's low mid tier. But I still read to ch176 so it's not all the way bad

I feel compelled to make an account and drop a review on it now that everyones doing so.

This novel isn't THAT bad, its maybe like a 4/10, but its nowhere near the top 5 so it doesn't deserve the 4th rank. Its filled with cliches and tropes, and is pretty hard to read. The plot makes little sense, the author just does whatever to make the story seem mysterious and complex but it comes of as forced.

Extremely edgy MC. Mid story, I don't even understand how its ranked 4??? I believe that rank 4 should be a better novel with an ACTUAL good story, like RToC. 

The story lost its charm fast, stiff battles, meh story progression, and shallow characters make it hard to stay invested long-term. Disappointing.

Mid plot, flat characters, and endless training arcs. Author is trying to make MC 'cool' but ends up making him edgy. It had potential but dragged on till 100+ chapters without real payoff. Disappointed.

Since everyone is hating on it, I'll jump in the river too and say I didn't like the start of the novel. People told me to wait till vol. 1 ending

starts strong but quickly kinda dull. Overused trope, edgy MC, and little character growth made it a frustrating read. Not only that, the MC is 'smart' and 'stupid' at the same time. Pick a side bruh

after 7 months of stacking up i just can't get myself to read it again personally when i remember this novel again it feels like author was trying too hard to make mc cool . Sometimes there were just unneccessary speech moments which were cringe. Just my opinion though you might just get into it i would even say try it there's high chance you will like it
