Path of the Extra

Actually a really insanely good novel, especially after volume 1 (chapter 175), with all the plot twists and lore. Also, all the things that don’t make sense at first eventually get explained. But don’t trust the narrative too much, it seems the author enjoys baiting the readers.

I’ve read up to chapter 254, and all I can say is that this is probably my favorite novel in the extra genre so far. At the beginning, some chapters can feel a bit cringey, and sometimes you might not fully understand the MC’s actions, but trust me, everything gets explained later on with solid reasoning. The plot twists at the end of the first volume were easily on par with S-tier novels for me. So far, volume 2 has been absolutely perfect.

a good read, I kinda like how the story flows. The interaction not only just between the siblings but also with the other characters is impressive. Recommending this.

It's lacking in many aspect, cringey at some points yet strangely the plot got me hooked line and sinker. The start of the story is rough i admit. I even want to quit in the first 20 chapters or so but i kept going either way since one chapter is not very long. And wow thank god i kept going, it really paid off by the end of book 1. There's layers of mysteries waiting to be unearth. Overarching plot that encompass possibly the entire story. I guess the author really planned out how this story will go on (i don't see that often in web series). Usually the plot is just jumbo mumbo, whatever that can keep the plot go longer. But this one, there's potential. By chapter 195, i can give this a 4 star, not 5 simply bcs the writing is rough and messy at times but the plot makes up for it. Let's hope this one doesn't turn into utter dogshit

It's good as of now if you want to being read it it's a good read i don't know if this can keep me interested for months or even years till it's end but I'm interested in story and if you wanna bring read go ahead

edit : after 7 months of stacking up i just can't get myself to read it again personally when i remember this novel again it feels like author was trying too hard to make mc cool . Sometimes there were just unneccessary speech moments which were cringe  

just my opinion though you might just get into it i would even say try it there's high chance you will like it 

Even Invisible Dragon solos these type of novels. This I am an edgy 'extra' type novels are s*it and this deserve 0.5 stars

the reasons for 1 star reviews are lies, but that is beside the point I am giving the novel a 5 star not for the novel but just because of how peak this comment section and community is 😭 Lore is right this is genuinly a top 3 comment section oat😭🤞 that beside though the novel (read till chapter 220) is actually really good, the writing is not bad per se but improves after I think it was chapter 100 and at chapter 170 or so the ending of volume 1 was genuinly also a top 5 volume ending

dont know about the lies these reviews are saying, this novel is original, fun, great, has amazing plot, lore, and fights. sure it took a bit of inspiration but anyone who read till the end of volume 1 could see how it is actually much more original and better than any other novel outside the top 10

but it seems that makes people angry, and they started to reviewbomb this amazing novel negatively
