Path of the Extra

The start is s*it ngl it's boring and way to random but after like 70 or 80 chapters the novel just starts climbing up towards peak and it never stops, a very good novel if you can handle the start which is quite a bit but you will be happy to go through that s*it believe me as you will see me my comments hating this and then changing into loving it each chapter...

The beginning of the novel was shaky, unreliable writing and the powerscale was confusing. But when I caught up to novel. A lot of things make sense and the powerscale has been explained properly. The writing has also improved alot. And the author has stopped overdescribing character's appearance. So far so good 

Too many nonsensical 0.5 star mass reviews. This novel is not great, since the start is VERY slow and all over the place. But it doesn't deserve 3.4 stars.

Yes, the plot takes time to take off but the ending of Volume 1 alone makes it worth it. Give it a try. It'll take some time but it does become ALMOST peak.

idk how people like this novel so much even after all the thousand inconsistencies it has, and one of those inconsistencies is the personality change of the protag and the protag of the novel 

icl its a peak novel, maybe not for everyone but at the very least try to reach chapter 175 to understand everything. I find the plot to be amazing, the fights, and lore as well. the first 80 chaptters are also good contrary to what others says only the writing is a bit stiff but gets better and much better later on maybe that is why it gives the impression that its bad but compared to other novels outside the top 5, the first 80 are still much better

Edgy dogshit, the novel doesnt get better after chapter 80, it goes downhill. The transmigration part is done horribly, he claims to have let go of his past but will turn into a brainless monkey the moment he sees his original family in visions or dreams, his reuinion with his family is cringe as f*ck, his speeches he gives is cringy as f*ck, he always lies for no reason, sucks up to the "heroes" because he has convinced himself he is not worthy to be one and will be content with glazing them instead. Pulls a bomb out of nowhere to win a fight that even the narrator stated was impossible for him to win. The only reason the transmigration part even exists is because of the future info from the book but the author will stop at nothing to cockblock you from learning new info in a dialogue making the transmigration essentially pointless, could legit be a non transmigrator story and nothing would change. Also everything is so fucking predictable up to even the DIALOGUE.

The novel is actually peak the entire time, but just gets better after the first 80 chapters, that is why those first seem so s*it compared and people say that... but d*mn this novel has one of the most hated and loved fandom here 😭

Man I fucking thought you all were just glazing this novel and it was s*it, no fr I was planning to hate on this novel as well since like no way this is top 4, but f*ck... hit chapter 90 and the plot suddenly goes crazy and then chapter 175 😭 Man what an ending. It has been so long since I have felt such a rush from a volume ending, usually it is only with novels like LOTM or Shadow Slave that I felt like that but d*mn... great job author 🙏

peak novel, some of the reviews will try to tell you its dogshit, but once you get to chapter 80 the writing gets sooooo much better. sure, its lowkey inconsistenent at first and there were a bit of plotholes, but it gets so much better.  and the ending of volume 1, and this is gonna sound like extreme glaze but it was genuinly top 5 endings to a volume. if you can, you can try reading it, cuz personally it gets really good.
