I am caught up with this novel and think I can say that this is a genuinely good read. For those who are hating this I just don't get why because the story is woven wonderfully and the plot is  good. If the author maintains this writing quality or maybe even improves it a little (which is possible as the story can become evn better with time) I believe it wouldn't be surprising to put this novel in the Top 20. Try it.

This novel is not bad, but its not the best either. You can definitely see how the author improves over the course of the first 200 chapters, but there is still a lack of detail in the novel. For example, the world building of the story is not really great, we are just told what the place is called and some detail on how it looks. Additionally, the main characters have too much control over the story, its like normal people cannot compare to these prince and princesses. And that is the main point that really derails me as everyone has a story, everyone is their own main character, but the author makes the mc the main character for everyone. Furthermore, the main cast always seem to look down upon everyone else and underestimate them, but I can let this slide because they are kids, HOWEVER, why are the adults also scared of these kids. Yes they have prestige but if I am not wrong the academy was a place implied to be hierarchy free, unless I am wrong. Because of this relationship, the teachers are not really doing their job... they ignore whatever these prince and princesses do which defeats the whole point of school. I think the academy should have its own standing compareable to the great clans where even if there are injuries, they cannot just act like the academy is their playground due to checks and balances by other clans or just a strong enough principle like advent of three calamities. The power system is also broad. We just know they gather mana to advance from grade 3 to 1 then jump a classification such as from awakened to intermediate. There is no description of what exactly is happening for now like are they expanding something? forming circles? reinforcing their cores? Next, the fight scenes are ok, nothing too fancy like eternally regressing knight, RI, SS, or LOTM, but its still good (something that can still be improved upon). As for character development, its there but not really. Now personally speaking, I inbetween liking his personality and not, mainly because of he deals with situations which is through force (killing whatever gets in his way), I mean there are times when you should kill and times where its not necessay, the mc is the type of guy where if a kill option existed he would spam it. Especially when it come to family, he is a bit too overprotective which is more harmful that good. But this is a personality trait so who am I to judge right. Overall this novel is a 3.5/5, but I hope the author can prove me wrong and make it a 4 or a 4.5. Happy readings fellow readers :).

this story has been hyped too much but I find it's a rather normal WN style of description. Letting the unkown quantities fester and using them as an excuse for world building is stupid af. Guilty3 managed to pull it off because he unveiled the nature of unkown slowly but surely with solid characters and PoVs. In this case, I find it mildly offensive to let myself expect that just this weirdly off-balance narrative can change into something good.

On a more critical note. Stories need the correct blend of character MO's , world building and stakes in combat. Somehow this novel pulled the rug over my eyes for the beginning part but after reading 90 chapters, I can conclude that all of the previously mentioned aspects failed to manifest properly. In hindsight, the world building looked alien but it's just another narrative trick that left almost everything unexplained. It might change after chapter 90 but I'd rather sleep better tonight

Push through those early chapters and keep reading. Many fans say it becomes great later on, and I agree it pays off. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Don't really know what else to say other than this s*it is good. The beginning was a bit rough, I can say that much. However the build up for it was worth it, and made me a fan that will continue reading this until the end.

I actually loved this one. This has kindly offered SS vibes to it which I love while also intersting story for a extra troupe novel. Start might be a little slow but try to push it will be worth it.

5/5

The first 85 chapters of the novel is more or less like the prologue of the story, but after those chapters are done u slowly get to see a whole new different side of the novel, and we start to see a whole new different side to the Mc. After learning the truth about his missing memories, we finally learned why the firsts chapters felt scripted and generic, we knew nothing about him. Be patient in the earlier chapters, and you will be rewarded when it finally gets to the good parts.

ok so absolutely lovely novel as long as u get through the first 80 chapters, and when u get to chapter 175 you will understand the importance of the first 80 chapters only then. But... why does this novel so many low reviews? Are people really that impatient or just idiotic? if they review bomb this with negative reviews I feel we should review bomb this with positive ones to balance this out... it makes me sad how such a good novel gets so much hate
