Chapter 374 - 371 "For barking all over the place.

In the shattered hallway, the Werewolf Oz was roaring in frenzy as he charged toward four individuals.

They were four dark-robed figures, exuding an ominous aura all over.

These four were all of a very high Level, being Level 87, Level 86, Level 85, and Level 83, respectively, all masters above Level 80, and their Magic Power was surging and far more powerful than that of ordinary people.

Facing the wild onslaught of Werewolf Oz, the four dark-robed figures did not seem to panic. They dispersed in an orderly manner, forming a quadrangle formation around Oz, and simultaneously extended their hands. With magic swirling around them, they cast Magical Chains that coiled around the body of Werewolf Oz.

"Ahhhh...! Ahhhhhh...!"

Werewolf Oz kept roaring and struggling fiercely, muscles bulging all over, even his face streaked with bulging veins, making the Magical Chains stretch taut and produce cracking sounds as if they were about to snap.

The strength of this Werewolf was still so exaggerated that he could break free of magical restraints with sheer brute force, which was unexpected for everyone.

But the dark-robed figures seemed to be well-prepared.

Along with the sound of electrical shocks, the hands of the four figures holding the chains suddenly flashed with Lightning.

The Lightning, turning into bolts, travelled through the chains to Werewolf Oz’s body and violently flickered on him.

"Guuuuahhhhh...!"

Instantly, Werewolf Oz let out a scream of pain.

Clearly, the taste of electric shock was not at all pleasant.

The four dark-robed figures, however, remained indifferent as they continued to cast their spells and electrocuted Oz, their actions robotic and devoid of emotion, as if they were performing a task.

Just as these four individuals were about to knock out Oz with electricity, an angry voice finally rang out.

"Let go of him!"

The Catman girl leaped toward the four dark-robed figures, her fingernails extending into Sharp Claws. As she waved her hands, a vast swathe of Claw Light swept over them.

The four dark-robed figures immediately stopped what they were doing and dispersed like Ghosts.

"Boom—!"

The Catman girl’s claw strike smashed onto the ground and walls, and with a loud explosion, shattered both the floor and the walls.

Alas, she missed hitting any of the four dark-robed figures.

But Mafi’s goal was to save Oz, and she managed to achieve this aim.

"Gah..."

Werewolf Oz was no longer subjected to electric shock, and the Magical Chains around him disappeared, leaving him collapsing onto the ground, covered in sooty smoke.

"Oz!"

Mafi immediately rushed to Oz’s side.

A thunderous noise erupted as countless dark lightnings sprang from the hands of the four, turning into a storm of Thunder, falling upon the young Noble who had suddenly appeared.

The young Noble, however, merely raised an eyebrow.

"Good grief..."

He quickly figured out that each of these Old Demon Clan Faction members was no less powerful than the once-known Beddo.

Four individuals like Beddo appearing at once from the Old Demon Clan Faction?

It seemed that this faction was not weak at all.

But...

"Thinking of taking me on? You’re still lacking."

Shane didn’t dodge or flinch, walking slowly through the storm of lightning bolts which exploded around him, shattering the floor and walls of the Temple and causing electrical arcs to dance in the air, shaking the entire building.

Given the might of such Magic, there was no doubt that the four were using Upper-level Magic.

However, when the electrical arcs faded and the dust settled, Shane emerged unscathed, and the faces under the four hooded figures seemed to change.

"Crash!"

Suddenly, Shane burst forward, turning into a blur as he closed the distance to the four dark-robed figures at an astonishing speed.

"Clang!"

Holy Sword, like a bolt of Lightning, was brought down by Shane in a slash, carrying the sound of a sword’s song as it aimed for one figure’s head.

The figure sensed imminent danger and unhesitatingly used a dark veil to envelop themselves.

That was Defense Magic.

The figure reacted in time, using Defense Magic to try to block Shane’s Slashing attack.

But...

"Hum!"

As red Magic Light flickered from Holy Sword, forming a Magic Blade around the blade of the sword, the fate of that figure was sealed.

"Thud!"

The red slash fell sharply, effortlessly tearing through the dark veil and the air, slicing across the figure’s body.

The figure’s front split open immediately, spurting out a large amount of blood, splashing onto the floors and walls of the Temple.

"...!"

The figure under the cloak seemed unable to believe what was happening, eyes widening in shock.

To Shane’s surprise, the member of the Old Demon Clan sustained a fatal wound, didn’t fall, nor did they shrink back. Instead, they reached out and fiercely grabbed Holy Sword’s blade, ignoring their flesh tearing and controlling the sword despite their bleeding hands.

"Court death!"

Shane sneered fiercely with indignation.

However, he also knew why the Old Demon Clan had taken such an action.

It was to create an opportunity for the other three.

Three cloaked figures appeared around Shane with afterimages, flinging Magical Chains at him.

"Get lost!"

Shane wanted to attack immediately, but he saw a surprising scene.

The three cloaked figures placed their hands on their comrade, who was soaked in blood with both hands severed and chest wounded, channeling Magic Power into him, causing dark light to flow throughout his body.

During the light’s flow, Magic Power from the three cloaked figures merged into the injured one at an astonishing rate, rapidly healing his injuries and even regrowing his hands.

They each had only learned one Magic Skill: Magic·Fire, Magic·Thunder, Magic·Dark, and Magic·Binding.

In other words, these four could use Fire Magic, Thunder Magic, Dark Magic, and Binding Magic, but they did not know how to use Recovery Magic.

However, this made things somewhat strange.

Leaving aside the Recovery Magic issue for now, these four cloaked figures had each learned different Magic Skills, yet they could use the same Magic during combat. How was that possible?

In front, the Werewolf Oz was roaring angrily, his bloodshot eyes now fixed on Shane as he charged.

Shane charged forward as well.

By the time the commotion subsided, the Werewolf Oz lay on the ground, convulsing.

Shane stood without a scratch, grimacing and snorting lowly.
