Chapter 132: Black Party (Part 1)

***

[At a private port...]

It was evening when we arrived, and yet the whole place was so bright thanks to all the fairy lights and beautiful lamps that surrounded the place. Lots of luxurious cars came one after another, dropping off the invited guests at the party. Everyone wore black masks on their faces, as was subtly stated in the invitation. Of course, this wasn’t your ordinary secret party after all.

If the port was dazzling enough for me, the huge yacht docked on it was blinding. It was a superyacht, given its colossal size. From top to bottom, it screamed luxury all over. There were pools and a jacuzzi outside paired with expensive-looking furniture. I couldn’t see the inside yet since we were still in the car, queued up for inspection, but for sure, it would be just as beautiful.

Having access to such luxury, which only the richest in the whole world should be able to afford, Agent Helios and I wondered who the owner was. We quickly checked it in our database, but it was unregistered. To think that something as huge as that could still hide in the dark. Truly, the enemy this time must be way stronger, smarter, and more cunning than before.

"Haaaah..." Agent Hades sighed, probably for the hundredth time already since we left the house.

He was disguised as Ms. Hyerin from head to toe, and I must say—Pft... he looked gorgeous. I saw him first in the forest where we changed our clothes, but it was dark, so I didn’t appreciate the makeover. But now that I look at him sitting in front of us inside the limo, he, or rather "she," looks beautiful and sexy.

He wore a fitted black serpentine gown with see-through cloth on the chest and arms, amplifying his sexy waist and big hips—a trait most perverts liked about Ms. Hyerin. Another thing they liked was her huge chest, but we used a fake one on Agent Hades’ body that’s why his chest area was covered with a see-through embroidered cloth. Still, it was big and round, making his whole figure like that of an hourglass.

Surely, men would drool over him tonight. Pft. Ha-ha-ha-ha! Just the thought of it was enough to make me laugh. But of course, I couldn’t show him that, or else he might throw another tantrum. Agent Helios didn’t care, though. He laughed as much as he wanted at him earlier.

"You look hot, Taehyung’ah," Agent Helios teased him. "Pft! What will you do if men start asking you out?"

"Do you want to die?" Agent Hades snapped at him. "Continue that, and you’ll be surprised I’m out of the picture before you know it."

"Oh? Trying to blackmail me, huh? Go ahead then. That’s if you want something unfortunate to happen to your little secret."

"Tsk! Hmp!"

"Ha-ha-ha-ha! I know you can’t. It’s okay. I’m complimenting you, you know. You really look hot in that."

"Hot enough that you want to f*ck me?" Agent Hades teased him back.

But Agent Helios still looked smug, unbothered by his attempt to tease him. He simply raised his eyebrow and smirked at him.

"Didn’t know you fancy me that way. Sorry to say, but I’m loyal to my wife."

"EWWWW. GROSSS," Agent Hades grimaced and acted as if he wanted to puke. "Aigoo."

"Ha-ha-ha-ha! You still can’t beat me with words. Try again next time."

Then, he shook his head and went straight to the car. It was really funny now that I remember it.

If Agent Hades dressed so sexily, Agent Helios and I dressed in black suits and black masks, pretending to be bodyguards. It was good that Ms. Hyerin was always accompanied by one or two whenever she came to events according to the intel we gathered, or else we would have to disguise as her boy toys. She uses the bodyguards to filter out the rich or handsome from the line of men who wanted to sleep with her.

Soon enough, it was our car’s turn to be checked. Security was so heavy all around the port that even a Mythos agent would find it quite impossible to sneak in without an invitation. The guards held detectors in their hands and checked every corner of the car before letting us get out of it.

Once cleared, we stepped out of the car and handed the invitation card to them that held the secret code. They put it in a scanner of some sort to check its authenticity. My heart hammered in my chest as they did. Even if I admire Mythos’ Technology Department a lot, still, it was technology, and there could still be a 0.00001% chance of failure.

Ba-dump! Ba-dump! Ba-dump!

It took a few seconds for the scanner to read the invitation for some reason. It was supposed to light up green if it’s a pass and red if it’s a fake. We could have gotten the real Hyerin’s invitation from her, but the distance from our place to hers was so vast that travel time would be difficult. Even if it was safely delivered to us, there was no guarantee that she wouldn’t find it suspicious and report us to whoever she knew within the organization that allowed her to receive such an invitation for a very private party.

"That’s weird," one of the guards murmured. "Why is it not working?"

The other guards found it suspicious, too, so they readied their hands on their guns, ready to take us down.

’Please don’t fail us. Please don’t fail us.’

I kept praying over and over in my mind.

"Try flipping it," another one said.

The guard then flipped it, but it was not being read.

"Let me check that real quick," Agent Helios said, interrupting them.

The guard handed the card over to him while the other prepared for a fight.

"Who did you say you were again?"

Agent Helios didn’t mind them and inspected the card. He kept tracing his fingers on the paper for some reason.

"Ugh. I can’t believe there are still people who don’t recognize me," an alluring woman’s voice stepped in—it was Agent Hades.
