Chapter 133: Black Party (Part 2)

He already managed to copy Ms. Hyerin’s pitch and the way she talked. She had this kind of a lazy way of speaking, but deep and mature, that’s why it sounded sexy—just the way most men liked it. Amazing. I found it hard to do when I was trying it yesterday, but the way he flawlessly delivered it, considering he was a man, was very commendable.

"O-Oh... Ms. Hyerin?" one of them asked.

"The one and only."

"Still, we need the invitation to—"

"You must have wet it earlier," Agent Helios said, turning to Agent Hades. "This is why I suggested you stop doing it in the car."

My eyes widened when I heard that.

"Uhhmm," Agent Hades moaned seductively. "Well, I can’t help it. Travel time is always boring, and I want to have some fun."

The guards looked at each other, unsure of what to do.

"It’s alright," Agent Helios sighed. Then, he turned to the guards and handed the invitation to them once again. "Here. Try it again. I wiped it out already. Hopefully, it didn’t damage anything."

"Ah, sure," the guard replied and quickly took the invitation from his hands.

The queue was still long after all, and they needed to hurry or else the other guests would miss out on the fun.

And so, they put the invitation to the scanner once again. Just a few seconds in, and at last, it lit green!

’Phew! I thought we’ll be busted right from the entrance! Good job, Agent Helios! And you too, Agent Hades.’

"Oh, there it is," the guard’s face lit up. "It seems like this invitation is very sensitive."

"Yeah. It was stated inside, but Ms. Hyerin is a little careless."

"Uhm, sorry about that, boys. I’ll try not to do it again."

The other guards let down their hands, feeling no longer alarmed. Then, they ushered us towards the yacht, where another set of servants guided us inside.

"Woah, this yacht is... wow," I murmured to myself when I saw the beauty of the place.

The outside of the yacht didn’t do justice to match the beauty of the inside. Though the party’s theme was black, the whole place was covered in marble, gold, and different gems as if you went inside a cave of treasures—high-value ones at that!

"As expected of an auction house," Agent Helios whispered to my ears.

Right. We did speculate that the location would be used for auction and no surprise that it really was. This only confirms that the children would be sold in this wretched place. It might be beautiful to the eyes on the outside, but the darkness it hides inside rivals its splendor. How truly wicked of them.

"This way, dear guest," one of the ushers said as he gestured his hand towards the huge golden door at the center.

There were several doors and places we could go to inside the yacht, but everyone was restricted from wandering and was led to that specific room only. The three batches of people ahead of us were all led there as well.

We followed them like how everyone else did and kept our acts. It was time to be in full focus—no room for mistakes!

Inside the golden door was none other than a huge social hall with hundreds of seats arranged neatly, facing the well-decorated stage at the far end. Food and refreshments were on the side, and musicians were on the far end sides. Two black doors were on each side of the stage, probably leading to where they kept their "products" or "goods" as termed by the boss of those kidnappers.

’We need to infiltrate that room no matter what! And we have to save those children!’

"Here’s your assigned seat, Ms. Hyerin," the usher said, pointing toward an empty seat. "Your bodyguards may stay at the sides. They may use any free seat available."

"Uhm," Agent Hades nodded.

Then, the ushers left us to cater to the next guest.

Agent Helios leaned toward Agent Hades to whisper something I didn’t get to hear. It’s alright. I could ask him later about it. After that, Agent Helios and I walked to the side and sat down on the empty seats, as mentioned.

While waiting for the event to start, we observed the whole surrounding and each and every person around. Some people could easily be recognizable—from rich businessmen to celebrities and even politicians. I quickly memorized everyone’s faces as much as I could. This would be useful intel later.

As we quietly observed, I saw someone approach Agent Hades and sit beside him. It was a tall man, around six feet or so, with a lean physique and a young-looking feature. We were several meters away, so I didn’t get to see his face clearly but judging by his gestures, he must be one of Ms. Hyerin’s boys. He seemed flirty, casually touching her elbows and trying to touch her hand—though it was a "him" since it was only Agent Hades in disguise.

’Oh no. Poor Agent Hades. I hope he doesn’t lose his cool anytime soon.’

After him, another one came and tried to flirt with him again. He smiled at them and acted flirty, just like the real Ms. Hyerin, but I could feel his dark aura getting more and more apparent as time went by.

"We should help him, right?" I leaned toward Agent Helios and asked. "We’re supposed to keep the flies away after all."

"Pft. Wait another minute. This is so funny." Agent Helios replied, trying his best not to laugh.

"Hey, we should go now. Let’s not wait for him to lose his patience."

But then, Agent Helios really did stay for another minute before standing up to rescue Agent Hades. I followed him and shoved the guys away. Some of them looked too old for Ms. Hyerin as well. My goodness! One of them looked like a senior. How perverted of him to try and approach a beautiful young woman. Ugh. Disgusting. And to think the real Ms. Hyerin does this for a living? It’s beyond me.

Anyway, it’s time to save the damsel in distress.
