Chapter 117: Tailing Min-Su (Part 2)

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

A whole hour passed as we continued to wait inside the restaurant. We had already finished the dishes we ordered, but there were still no signs of action from the kidnappers. There was only one entrance and exit for the school, so they would definitely pass at the gate we were watching. We probably came too early.

"This is boring," Agent Helios said as he stretched his body and leaned to the backrest of the couch he was sitting on.

"It can’t be helped," I sighed, feeling a little bored myself. "Waiting is part of the process. But don’t get lax and continue observing."

I was sitting in front of him at that time, at the best angle to look at the school’s entrance gate.

"Why don’t you observe for now while I entertain myself with something else for a whole hour, then I can take the next hour and watch? It’s counter-productive if we will do the same thing at the same time."

"Huh? You’re just being lazy again. It’s better to use two pairs of eyes in these kinds of tasks."

"I trust your eyes," Agent Helios shrugged and turned to his phone, already "entertaining" himself with whatever was on his phone. "You can do it, partner."

What the—how in the world did he not get a demerit on his missions before if he was this lazy?

"Hey! I didn’t agree—"

"Eyes on the gate, my dear—Oh, wait. I can’t call you that now, huh?"

Right. We had to remove our wedding rings since it was too noticeable given the uniqueness of the design, plus the size of the gems on them.

"I’ll go back to calling you babe, then," Agent Helios smirked. "Ah, how nostalgic. The first time I called you babe was when we still hated each other’s guts. How time and feelings fly."

"Oh, shut up, will you?"

"Ahh... Still so feisty as ever even if we already—"

I instantly covered his mouth, knowing what he would say. My goodness! There were people around! What if they hear us? We could be talking so softly, but some people have really sensitive senses like me.

’Ugh. He’s giving me a headache. I should have done this mission alone. Working solo is still the best!’

But then, the evil Agent Helios, who always had a way to come back at me, kissed the palm of my hand that covered his mouth. I jolted when I felt the warmth of his lips press on my hand.

Ba-dump!

’No, heart! You don’t go thumping like that for something irritating as what he just did!’

Blood rushed to my face soon enough. Ugh. I probably look like a red tomato or blushing like a teenager in love.

’Focus, Kim Ye-Ji. Focus!’

"Uhm," Agent Helios deliberately grunted so seductively. "I’d rather stare at you all day than some white wall and metal gate."

His breath tickled unto my skin as he spoke.

"S-Shut up..."

I averted my eyes off of him and pulled my hand away.

’Damn it! Why is my hand suddenly so sensitive today?’

As I averted my eyes and tried to bring my focus back on the gate I was observing earlier, I noticed the reflection of Agent Helios’ phone in the glass window beside him.

’Oh! I can see what he was so busy with on his phone! Hah! He’s probably looking at something naughty or evil—like people being tortured!’

But then, my ever-so-helpful-and-sharp eyes saw something different yet familiar. It was a picture of a woman sleeping. He tapped to the side of his screen, and the picture changed to another—the same woman, still sleeping but in a different position, facing towards the other side, showing a bare back.

The reflection in the window wasn’t very clear, so it took me a few pictures before I realized that the woman was none other than... ME!

ASDFGHJKL!

’What the f*ck?! How dare he take a picture of me sleeping?! When—How—What—Why?’

Angered, I snatched the phone from his hand and looked at the screen. Now that I’m seeing it up close, it truly was me! And my shoulders were bare with only the blanket covering my body, so that must mean that he took those pictures after we... we... UGH!

"Why youuuu..." I said softly but threateningly.

I glared at him with all my might, though my black shades were in the way of delivering my death glares towards him.

Agent Helios laughed at my reaction. He tried to suppress it, but it was obvious he was laughing at me!

"Took you a while to notice, given that I deliberately raised the brightness of my phone so it would reflect on the window," he said, chuckling and looking down at me.

"Oh! So you deliberately did that, huh?" I snapped at him. "You think that’s funny, huh? How dare you take pictures of me sleeping with nothing but a blanket covering my body?"

He laughed once again, then snatched his phone away from my hand. I tried to get it back, but his arms were longer than mine.

"Hey! Give me that! Delete those pictures right now, or else I’ll report you for illegally taking pictures."

"Eh? But I’m your husband. I am allowed to take pictures of you," Agent Helios shrugged. Besides, you’re not naked. It looked sexy, yes, but it’s still safe to have on my phone."

"I said NO!"

"Shhh..." someone from the table behind us hushed us, probably because we were being too noisy already.

"I’m so sorry," I immediately apologized and bowed in their direction.

Agent Helios snickered at me. Then, he lifted his forefinger and put it across his mouth, telling me to be quiet.

"Focus," he whispered. With his lips, he silently spelled out, "My dear wife."

The nerve of this guy. Someone remind me again how in the world did I end up liking him?

Wanting to get back at him, I did the same, silently dictating the words in my mouth and saying...

"No sex for you tonight, my evil lewd husband."

’Hah! Now, who has the last laugh?’

My lips curved into an evil grin while his smile faded from his face.

But it was only for a moment.

Just a few seconds after, Agent Helios smiled again as he leaned on the backrest of the couch. Then, he leaned his arms on the armrest and looked me straight in the eyes.

’Now, what could he be thinking?’

That question was soon answered when I felt something smooth and warm run up my thighs and into my... my... WAAAAAA!!!

’JEON EUN-WOO! I HATE YOU!’

How dare he put his foot there?! Good thing I was wearing pants this time, or else—UGH!

"What the—uhmm... s-stop," I said, biting my lips as I tried to stop myself from feeling "something" down there.

"You’re saying something?" Agent Helios replied seductively while obviously ignoring what I just said.

"I s-said... stop!"

We were in a public place, for goodness’ sake! It was good that the table’s cover extended to the floor, or anyone would have seen what he was doing. Since when did he remove his shoe?

I quickly looked down, grabbed his foot from under the table, and shoved it away. But he fought back and placed it "there" again!

His foot was rosy white and pretty like a woman’s, except it was bigger and had longer toes. No wonder why it was smooth. Tsk. Rich people. Darn it. Everything involving his body was beautiful to look at and smooth to touch.

I fought back again and used two hands this time to shove his foot away. But then he used his other foot again, making it an equal two-on-two battle!

Losing my patience, I sighed and glared at him.

’You think you’re the only one who can do that, huh?’

I then leaned back on the couch, removed my shoes, and raised my leg to touch him back down "there"—just like he did. I raised one of my eyebrows and smirked evilly at him while gently brushing my foot on his groin.

’Hah! Take that! Let’s see if you can hold back.’

And so, as I did a little "foot job" for him, he finally stopped doing it to me and just let me be.

’Surrendering so easily, huh?’

But how wrong I was.

"Uhmm..." Agent Helios softly moaned. "Good girl. Keep going, my dear wife."

It was then that I realized... I played right into his f*cking trap!

He did it to me knowing I was very vengeful and tended to copy what he did for revenge, so basically, I would definitely do the same to him! And that was exactly what he wanted! For me to give him a foot job because I told him...

"No sex for you tonight, my evil lewd husband."

As the realization sank into my brain, I quickly stopped and glared at him in the most menacing way possible.

’I WILL remember this humiliation, Jeon Eun-Woo! I will definitely get my revenge on you! I hate you! And no sex for you for a whole month!’
