Chapter 79: The Attack...

"Is this here?" He asked his subject as he looked at the portrait of the woman who he had never seen.

"Yes, Your Majesty." One of the men answered as he was looking on the ground, afraid of even lifting his head as he was in front of the mad emperor.

"Why didn’t I know about her before?"The emperor said as he was looking at the portrait like he saw some delicious food.

Everyone who was in the room felt chills on their body as they saw their emperor’s reaction towards the daughter of the duke of their enemy kingdom.

They were even startled when the emperor threw the portrait in front of them, which made a loud noise around the place.

"Get me that girl," They all lifted their head as they heard their emperor said those words.

"Your M-Majesty?" They all said in chorus as they looked at the emperor, who was now crossing his legs while sitting on his throne while his head was on his hand.

They couldn’t believe what they were hearing from him; it was like he was commanding them to get his food easily.

"Didn’t you hear me?" They all gasped when they heard the emperor say it while he was glaring at them.

"B-but we can’t do it like that, Your Majesty?" Count Brisor said, as he looked like he was confused at what there emperor said.

"Why can’t you?" the emperor asked them coldly, which made them gulped.

"T-there’s a feud between the imperial family and the duchy Solaris, and as we got the east , south, and north were most of the duke’s allies, and we all knew that her daughter was now the duchess of the north, and -"

"Isn’t that great news for us?" They heard their emperor say as he straightened himself on his seat, "Why didn’t that man tell us what was going on there?" he continued as he looked around them.

"Baron Abellarde-" One of the men who was there said, but the emperor cuts him off by glaring at him.

"Did I say it was that stupid man?" The man shivers when the emperor looks at him angrily. "That bastard was no use! He keeps on promising something, but nothing comes true." He continued, and this he was walking towards them and went in front of them.

"I was talking about it with someone; he said he will get something from the north that will make us defeat that stupid empire." They all looked at the emperor as he chuckled evilly.

"Now, send some troops their to attack the stupid kingdom now. Tell that woman that we need," he said, which made everyone say, as they all knew that they had nothing to say, but they needed to obey.

Acantha was doing something when suddenly one of her father’s knights ran towards where her father’s office is.

"My Lady," The knight greeted her, and she frowned when she saw that he was pale.

"What was going on?" She asked as she was worried that something might happen. She saw the knight was hesitating a little. "Father was not here," she said as she raised her brows at him.

She saw the knight pale more when he heard those: "There was an attack, my lady, at the capital. His Highness was already there, but there was something with the attackers." The knight said this as he looked at her while he was breathing heavily.

Acantha knew why the knight was paling, as there was an ongoing feud between the palace and the duchy because of the rift between the duke and the empress.

But Acantha can’t let those people die, just like the last time when she was still using her power and couldn’t even control it properly.

"Tell the other knights to prepare; we will help the crown prince," Acantha said, and she saw the shock on his face when she said that before she left the place to fetch Flamear from her room.

But she was still on the stairs when she saw Flamear was coming.

"I knew you were coming to me, and master, I can sense someone who was powerful was there fighting against the crown prince; we needed to hurry." Flamear said, and for the first time Acantha could feel that he was saying that their enemy wasn’t just an ordinary person.

Acantha and Flamear arrived in no time, and she saw some knights who were evacuating the people in the capital as they were all screaming; there was exploding all over the place.

She looks around and saw the Helion was dueling with someone and it seems like this was the person that Flamear was talking about.

"I can sense dark energy all over her," Flamear said as he sniffed in the air.

Acantha can sense it too; it feels like it was just like that time when they went to that abandoned place, where they got the monster, which was still at the duchy, where she sealed him underground so no one can sense it, nor got it.

She directed a beam of light towards the individual, causing it to soar towards the wall of a nearby shop.

"Acantha." She heard Helion say as he turned around and saw her as she walked towards where that person was.

"I will fight her; help those people first, as we still have something to settle here between us," Acantha said as she pointed at that someone, and there she noticed when that person was lying that it was a she.

Helion looked at first at where she pointed, "She’s strong; can you take her by yourself?" He asked, which made her smirk at him.

"What do you think of me?" She asked as she turned around and continued to walk where that person that she identifies as a woman.

Acantha saw the woman stand up and lift her hand; there was a sudden black light that came out from her hands.

"I knew that one; that was like Abanoon’s power." Acantha countered it with her power and threw it in the sky.

"You mean this could be Abanoon?" She asks as she looks at Flamear, who is on her side,

"No, thought it looks the same, but hers was a little fainter; it was like she sold her sould to Abanoon to gain power, which means, Abanoon’s was getting resurrected." Flamear said, and Acantha saw the worry on his face as he said those words.

"But she still can’t get resurrected fully, as they need to get Solaia’s book where she secretly put her secret there." Flamear said, which made her frown; she almost forgot about the book; she forgot reading it, but she learned so much from what she had already read from it.

She ducked when there was another thing coming on their way. Acantha used her power to threw some fire to the woman, who seemed to not expect her attack, which hit her to the ground.

Acantha chants something in the air, which she learned from Solaia’s book. The woman who was on the ground tried to undo her spell and was trying to use her power, but too bad she put some anti-magic spell on her to prevent her from using her power again.

Acantha walked near to the woman when suddenly there was a ball of another dark smoke coming through her direction, which she blocked by using her own power as a shield.

It’s good that even though she didn’t finish reading Solaias book, she still learned so much about it.

She looked at Flamear as he shifted to his original form, which made the people see him, and they looked surprised at what they saw.

Meanwhile~~~

Count IiVan Triduexfort was one of the alleys as he was observing what was happening at the capital when suddenly he felt a familiar force.

His eyes grew big. When he saw a familiar furry thing.

This is Solaias familiar; she sealed it when she killed his master.

"That was Flamear," the count said as he whispered in the air.

He saw that the beasts stopped walking and seemed to hear him; he was the one who sent the smoke as he was helping the woman.

And why did Arthur’s daughter have the same power as Solaia and was even using the same spell like her?

He turned around to look for his son but it seemed like he was nowhere to be found.

Why didn’t he tell him about that girl having a power?

A power that was so powerful that it defeated his master way back then.

Iivan looked at the woman again, and that was the only moment when he realized that he looked exactly like her, minus the hair.

Why does she look like her?

It can’t be his master; she should be the one to be resurrected, not her.

He needs to do something about it, or else his master won’t come back again.

Never again would he let her win, or maybe this was just some coincidence? After all, Klartis was a worshipper of Solaia, which made the Solaris also worship her.

Iivan looked at Acantha and was startled when he saw that the beast was coming in his direction, which left him no choice but to disappear in the thick air.
