Chapter 58: Acantha’s Dream.... Noraya’s Nightmare...?

Noray also woke up on the wrong side of her bed that morning; she doesn’t know why she keeps on dreaming something; it wasn’t a good dream.

In her dream, she was in a different world; she’s also wearing different clothes.

She was with another girl and that girl was raising her hand to stab her with a knife.

She was so scared when she woke up this morning; it feels like it was real, and if it is real, should they be her and Acantha?

That woman who was so jealous of her wanted to take everything from her. She saw how Helion looked at her, and Noraya was sure that she was the one who seduced and charmed him.

And she even had the guts to kick her father out the north, where it was supposed to be his since he was a male, but Noraya forgives her, even though she heard some rumors from the other’s that Helion was with Acantha in the east.

Her father was also even shocked that Helion was in the north back then when he visited their land—yes, theirs, as it should’ve been theirs, not Acantha’s and her mother.

She really hates that woman; she tried to be nice to her, but Acantha was always like wanting to take everything from her.

That’s why Noraya was glad that she had the Empress favor, as she knew that the Empress wouldn’t like the daughter of her late friend as she was rude to everyone.

But, yesterday.

How dare she take everything from her father? Isn’t they already content with their Solaris duchy, and they also claimed the north as theirs?

It was stated that the duke of Solaris, who was originally from the south, declared independence from the empire, which means the north and east, which his other family also owned almost the east, but there are still some noble people who had their territories there.

They declared that no one in the west or in the capital would enter those places, as they were now not part of the Luminsarian and were an independent place under the Solaris.

"Damned that Arthur! How could he just declare something so big?" She looked at her father, who entered the living room where she was.

"Damn, what was happening? Why can I get my precious order from the south?!" She looked at her mother, who also entered the place, and she looked...

"Noraya, you were there with them yesterday; can you tell us what happened back then?" Her father turned to her and asked her while he looked so fumed at the moment.

"Helion and Lady Acantha got back yesterday, and they arrived at the palace..."

Noraya told them the whole story based on her, and she saw how her father’s hand clenched into fists when she told him about the north and why she lost her temper that moment.

"That man! He did really give the north to his daughter?! How dare he? It’s mine and my family’s legacy," the baron said as he smahed the vase on the corner.

"That’s what I said yesterday, father," Noraya said as she looked at her father.

"A little girl claimed that prestigious place instead of you?" She looked at her mother and saw that she also looked mad at what she said.

"How can the emperor let that kid rule the north?" She continued as she walked around her father.

Her mother looked at her and smiled sweetly at her.

Noraya knew that they were talking about her ability to heal people’s illnesses and wounds.

But her power wasn’t even that great.

Acantha walked as she stood and looked at the sky; she opened the barrier and let the bird come in.

The bird, when it finally entered the place, saw something attached to it’s right foot.

She remembered now!

This bird was owned by Helion; this was the same bird he used every time he was sending some letters.

Acantha opened the letter and saw that Helion was asking if she was alright and was asking an apology about his mother’s behavior.

She understood her mother even though she was out of line; she was just protecting her son from another lady who might steal Noraya’s place beside her son.

"Mildred, could you please get me a pen and a paper?" She said as she called for Mildred, who followed her request.

Mildred arrived not too long with paper and a pen in her hands, which she handed her.

Acantha wrote a letter back to Helion; she also asked him about the situation in their empire.

"So, this where you are?"Acantha didn’t even turn around as she recognized who owned the voice.

"Well, where do you think I should be?" She asked as she finally turned around this time and saw the smiling face of Evan.

"Well, I knew a place where you should be." He said as he winked at her.

Acantha glared at him. Does this man even get tired of smiling? She said it in her mind.

"Relax. Why does it seem like you were always angry?" He said as he looked at the paper that she uses to write a letter back to Helion, it was good that she already let the bird fly, or this one will bombard her with so many questions.

Acantha was about say something when she remembered something.

"You went to the tower of magic, right?" She asked, and she saw how he stiffened and how the smile on his face faded at what she said.

"Yes," Evan said in a serious voice, which she was not used to, but she has some questions about her dreams.

"I just want to ask you something; it was a dream, like I was in another world," She said as she looked at him, who seemed to be focusing on what she was saying now.

"In this dreamed about two girls, and one was about to stab someone, and it feels like I was watching them. Like I was an audience. It feels like my soul was traveled in another place," she said as she was trying to avoid the part that she also came from that same world where she dreamt.

"I never heard something like that before, " Evan said as he put his finger down his chin as he was thinking something.

"I’ll just look it up in the book; I knew I remembered reading them somewhere; I just forgot where," he said as he looked at her.

Acantha nodded at him; she wanted to know whether it was connected to her or not; it seems really real to her.

Like she was there at that place and was witnessing the fight between the two girls.

She looked at the sky again as she saw so many birds are flocking; it seems like it’s going to rain.

They both looked when they heard something
