Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 54: The Valetudoo
Chapter 54: The Valetudoo
There was a monster in the mountain, and Acantha saw that the monster seemed to be eating something, and there was someone with the monster.
"We should do something, We can’t just stay here and do nothing while that person was killing as many as he or she can," Acantha said as she was facing back and forth in the place.
Helion looked at her as he put the binoculars down. "How can we go there if the place is guarded? If we infiltrate the place, it will only cause us to fail our mission, and the risk of more deaths will increase if we move now," Helion said, which made her think.
Helion was right, but what about those people who will be killed by that person? How many people will be sacrificed for them?
If there is only a way to go to break the barrier without letting the person who made it alert.
"Is there any spell that will break the barrier without letting the person who put it know?" She asked as she went to Helion, who was now sitting near the window where they could see the mountain that was not very far from the house that they were staying in the village.
"I can’t recall any spell or anything, but..." Acantha saw that Helion’s face get serious, and she knows that he might remember something about how to unbreak the barrier without the owner or the one who puts it getting to know.
She saw how he stood up and walked out of the place. Acantha followed him only to see he was drawing a big circle and writing some symbols on it.
"What was that?" She asked, but Helion seems to be so busy that he didn’t hear what she said.
She just observed him as he kept on writing on the circle.
"This is a magic circle that the teacher in the academy taught us how to use when we were going to attack the enemies and break their barriers without them noticing.
"So how do we do it?" Acantha asked and Helion showed her how to do it.
She saw the magic circle lights as Helion went inside and chanted something on it.
Acantha waited, and waited; it was too long.
She saw the light get stronger, and Acantha noticed that it shot towards the direction where the Valetudooo mountain is.
"It’s done, said Helion as he was sweating. "Damn, I should have known that it would take a lot of my energy." Helion said as he looked at her.
She went inside the house to give him some water. "Are you good now?" She asked as he finished drinking the water.
"Yeah, let’s go," he said as he put the glass on the table, and he walks out of the place.
They walked for not so long, and when they reached the mouth of the place,
Helion was the one who went first to try if they successfully broke the barrier.
Acantha saw how Helion successfully crossed without any barrier stopping him from entering the place.
She follows him, and when she successfully entered the place too, she saw how dark the place is.
The place looks like it was already night here. The place is what she just expected. But what she didn’t expect was how dark the place is.
All they could hear was the sound of nothing; it was like not even an animal was here.
She was walking beside Helion, who was also observing the place, and they were not making any sounds. The mountain was big, and they were just following the energy that they could sense in this place.
They were about to cross a barren river when suddenly they felt a thud on the ground.
"What was that?" Acantha whispered as Helion helped her when she almost lost her balance.
The thud on the ground was getting stronger, and when she turned around there, she saw a giant monster who was coming in their direction. This was also the very monster that she saw in binoculars when she used them.
Helion hid her on his back as he was facing the monster by himself. "Just stay there." He said as he looked at her.
"No, I’m going to fight it too with you; I’m not weak, okay?" She said as she looked at the monster, who was now aiming it’s hand at them, and suddenly there was something coming out of it, but before it could even hit them, Acantha used her power as a shield.
She saw Helion draw its sword and aim for it’s head, which he successfully did as the monster’s head fell to the ground and was turning into ashes.
"How can we forget that this place was the monster’s place?" She said as she looked at Helion, who was now back in the ground.
"We should prepare ourselves and be careful, as the monster’s who were living in here were not the same as the monster’s that the Tenebrisaya Empire planted in here." Helion said as he looked at the place.
They were about to walk when suddenly they heard something from above. Acantha looked above, and her eyes widen when they see another monster who is lurking at them and is waiting for the right moment to attack them.
There was another sound coming from their back, and there they saw some monsters walking near them.
"It seems like we are not getting at the top as soon as possible," Helion said as he drew his sword and launched to where the monsters were.
Acantha looked above them; it seems like their efforts turn to nothing as the monster keeps on flocking at them.
She uses her right hand to shoot those monsters above them, while she uses the other one to shoot at those who were tempting to attack here on the ground.
She saw at the corner of her eyes that Helion was also being attacked by so many monsters.
This was getting out of her hand; she needed to do something.
Acantha uses her power to fill to purify the monsters; the monsters were gone after she made a big light to purify them.
There were still monsters, but not as many as they had awhile ago.
She shoots the monsters who were coming after her, and finally they suppressed and defeated them.
"Are you okay?" Helion asked her when he saw that she was sweating.
"Yes, It was just hot here," she said, which is true.
They started walking again when she remembered something: "We should just teleport ourselves at the top; I think that person already noticed that we are here since the monster keeps on attacking us." She said, and Helion nodded and held her arm, and they teleported.
When they got to the top, there was a place that looked like a castle. They went inside, and suddenly the fire lit the room to give some light.
They looked around the place, and Acantha saw an altar. She went hurrying to that place, but she found nothing.
The altar has a big table that rather looks like a big stone coffin, and when she opened it, she saw nothing.
It seems like the person was also hurrying to leave the place as the monsters were distracting them from coming here.
She was about to walk away when she noticed a book that seemed to fall when that person was running; she saw the book lights and as if it were calling her. When she raised her hand, it seemed like the book was commanded to land on her hand.
Acantha can feel that there was a connection between her and the book that she was holding.
"What’s that?" She snapped back to reality when she heard Helion speak behind her.
"I just found it here; it seems like that person has gotten away from us, and he uses those monsters to buy him some time," Acantha said as she looked at him.
She handed him the book, and she saw how he frowned when he opened it. "I can’t read this." Helion said to her, which made her raise her brows at him, "This is written in another way; it was engulfed with magic, and the only one who can read it is it’s master." He said this as he looked at her.
"But I can read this, looked!" She said as she pointed the words in the book.
"Maybe it finds you as its master; that’s why you can only read it." Helion as he handed him the book.
Acantha looked at the book again and sighed Maybe this was the book that Flamear was talking about and the booked that can help her to wake Flamear.

When they went back to their place, it was already almost night.
"You’re back, my lady." Mildred was greeted as she got the book from her hand, which she handed as she was tired.
"You’re hignessss!!" They heard someone shout, and there they saw Ernie, who was running towards Helion
"You idiot! Stop shouting; can’t you see? His highness appears to be fatigued.
She excused herself as she followed Mildred in her room and saw that she was leaving the room.
"Everything is prepared, my lady," Mildred said as she opened the door for her.
She took a quick bath, dressed in her sleepwear, and went to bed. But before she went to sleep, she saw the book lights and was calling her to open it.
She sit and gets the book and opens it, suddenly-
