Villainess Want's To Ignore Them!
Chapter 45: The Taboo Part 2

Chapter 45: The Taboo Part 2

"The goddes-"

Acantha looked at the man as he was about to say something when he noticed Helion behind her.

"Your highness." Everyone greeted him as they kneeled in front of him.

"What are you talking about all here?" Acantha saw that the people looked at each other and seemed like they were hesitating to say something.

She saw him look at her and sighed. "They knew about the mark on Flamear’s body," she said as she looked at the people again.

"What was the mark about?" He saw him look at the pattern on the mark.

The people looked at her like they were saying, like, Why was she telling it to the crown prince?

"You don’t need to worry about Him, His Highness. He was with me, and he knows something about the north," she said as she was assuring the people that it was okay to say it while Helion was around.

She looked at him as he was frowning about what she said.

"The goddess Solaia has her divine beats, while Abanoon has her demons," the man said, which she already knows about.

"There was a story surrounding around the north that there was once a twin goddess who was born with opposite power; one was being worshipped, and one was forgotten. Our ancestors who were there way back then during those times said that every once in awhile the goddess Solaia came down to bless them to protect their lives, as she knew that her sister was doing something to destroy everything." The man said as he continued his story while looking at her.

"She blessed the people with power, but some became greedy and fought against her and fought alongside Abanoon." The man said, which made her straighten her back.

She hadn’t heard it before; she only knew about the two goddesses as twins, but she didn’t know that Solaia bestowed and blessed more people only to turn against her. What a betrayal!

"What do you mean she blessed more people?" Acantha looked at her side and saw that Helion was too engaged in hearing the story, and now he was even asking a question.

"Yes, she blessed many people, and some of them turned against her, which made more chaos on this land." He continued to say as they were just listening carefully at him.

"People fought each other; dragon’s fought demons, and mostly sisters fought their own sisters," the man said.

"The world that the Goddess Solaia cherished and took care turns in to an ocean of fire; many people died, Abanoon wasn’t contained, ruining everything, she wanted to take everything that her sister had. " Acantha doesn’t know why she feels like she too experienced and witnessed it.

"Abanoon wanted to kill her own sister as she was jealous; she was jealous of the things that her sister had, and she was jealous that she was the opposite of her." The man continued to tell the story.

"But what does it do with the pattern on Flamear’s marking?" Acantha asked as she felt pain in her heart hearing the story.

"After the chaos, only a few family members who had been blessed by the goddes were alive; she sacrificed her life for everyone; the two goddesses died on the same day; and there are also some apprentices of the goddesses who use their life force to seal the demons and put some taboo that if any of the demons and divine beasts were alive, they should never reveal anything about the two goddesses, and as the years pass, everyone seems to have forgotten about the two goddesses, and only the people who live in the north remember them." The man said as he ended his story.

Acantha looked at everyone, and she was confused. She felt there were so many loopholes about the man’s story, and the story seems to be not right.

But what caught her attention was when he said that Flamear and the other demons can’t tell anyone about the goddesses, but didn’t he tell her about the goddess a little bit? So why didn’t he fall unconscious that time?

She sighed as she still didn’t get it, but at least she has an idea now.

"Thank you for sharing the story," Acantha said as she got Flamear from lying on the ground and gave him to Mildred.

"But, may I ask why you are scared to be known as an old resident of the north?" She asked as she looked at them, and she saw how they looked on the ground.

"Everyone knew that the north was attacked by the Tenebrisaya Empire, and most of the northern people died that night except for those who escaped, and our families were one of them. The late Duke of the North protected it’s people, but it wasn’t enough as he was old now and sick that time; he let us run while he died protecting us that time. We hide in the east as we know that the Tenebrisayan people will try to haunt us to get some in formation about the north." One of the women said as she was carrying her child in her arms.

"Why are they looking for you? What information do they need from the north? Does it have to do with the mana stones? or the magical forest." Helion was the one who asked.

Acantha looked at him and raised her brows at him. Does he need to ask an obvious question?

"Your highness!" They heard someone shout from afar. They turned around and saw Jarnus was running in their direction, and Ernie was also behind him.

"The knights were ready to go," Ernie said as he was panting when he got to where they were.

Everyone looked at them and-

"Oh? Did we disturb you all?" Ernie said as he looked at them while she was crossing her arms and rolled her eyes at him.

"It’s okay, just help them pack their things so we can arrive earlier in the east," Helion said as he walked, and Acantha was surprised when he pulled her with him before she could even say anything at him.

Acantha was lying on the carriage chair as Helion pulled her and told her that they needed to hurry to leave the place if they didn’t want to gain some attraction from the people in the east and let the people in the capital know that they were together, and it would cause a huge scandal even though the emperor knows where they are and why they are together.

That was his reason, of course. Acantha knew that he just didn’t want his mother and Noraya, who were at the capital right now.

Tssk, Tssk...

Knock!

Knock!

Knock!

She heard someone knock on the door as they were on their way to the east.

Acantha opened the window and saw that the travellers were outside her window, and it seems like they already reached the east, and by their looks, they’re going to bid their goodbye’s to her.

"Thank you for everything, My lady," They said to her as they bowing their head as they gave her their respect

"Yes, my lady, thank you for everything." The man who told her the story and about the taboo said.

"Wait, I haven’t gotten your name yet," she said as she stopped the man from going.

The man stopped and looked back at her.

"I am Dreas, my lady," the man said as he turned around and started walking again.

Acantha just sighed as she looked at the people going on their way; she was sighed as she knew that they had already arrived at their own place safely.

Not too long when they also arrived at the east and Acantha with the others bought some simple clothes to the market so no one would notice them.

How can they dress so lavishly in the countryside of the empire?

She was now in her room that they rented in the market, while the knights were scattered around so no one would know that they were all together, and beside the place was too small for all of them.

She sighed as she was waiting for Mildred to come and bring her food.

That stupid man! How dare he try to interfere with me in the north, and why did they bring the prince with them?

Baron Abellarde felt really humiliated in front of the prince as he was thrown oustide the north by the beast, for he doesn’t know where the duke got.

And what worse! He thought that the lady of Solaris was alone there when she went to the north; why didn’t he know that the crown prince would be there too?

Baron Abellarde threw everything that he could see in his room.

He wanted to scream, but he didn’t want to argue with his wife as his father-in-law was currently there in their house.

If he could have married a much higher-ranking woman than a mere daughter of a baron, then he should’ve had the north right now.

And that daughter of his—she might be seducing the prince to go against him.

He won’t let them do what they want; he needed to do something to take everything away from that family.

______

Acantha was wondering what was taking Mildred so long. She was alone in her room as Helion told her that he would find some information about the place that they were going. With Flamear being unconscious, they needed to be sure that everything was going to be alright.

She walked on her door and opened it.

She was now walking down the stairs when she noticed that there were so many men who seemed to be like threatening the owner of the hotel where they were staying.

She was about to take a step to go back upstairs when-

"Hey, beautiful girl, Do you want to have-
