Flamear jumped to the baron and growled on his face.

"What is this beast doing here?!" The baron said as he got Flamear out of his face and looked at him.

"Why did you let this animal in this place?!" He continued to blabber.

Acantha rolled her eyes at him and snatched Flamear from the baron.

"You! You let that thing out to humiliate me!" The baron accuses as he points his finger at Acantha.

Helion was also there and waved his finger that was pointing at Acantha.

Baron Abellarde looks surprised when the Helion did that.

"Your highness!" He warns like he was telling the Helion that he did something wrong.

"What, Lord Abellarde?!" Helion said as he levels the baron’s glare at the same time.

The baron closed its mouth and didn’t answer Helion, who was now in front of him.

"You’re not welcome in here, baron Abellarde." Acantha said as she looked at the baron, who was still there.

"How dare you say those words to me when I am even considered as your elder here in Klartis?" The baron said as he stepped forward and only stopped when he saw that the prince was again in front of him.

"Elder? Are you making me laugh?" Acantha said as she chuckled at what the baron said.

The baron on the other side gets more angrier, but he needs to restrain himself from hurting the lady in front of him, as the prince was also present at where they are.

"Young lady, I think the duke spoiled you so much that he forgot to hire you someone to teach you proper etiquette." The baron insultingly said as he looked at Acantha and grimaced in disgust.

"No wonder no one in our society stands to be your friends; you may have the power and riches, but you lack in manners; you can’t even greet and respect your elders properly." The baron continued as he went back to sitting on the couch and crossed his legs.

"You have a sharp tongue too, Baron. Is that what your teacher in etiquette taught you? And speaking of proper manners and etiquette, aren’t you ashamed yourself telling me how to behave properly when you just went here uninvited and claimed the place as yours?" Acantha said to Baron as she smirked.

The baron’s smug smile vanished when Acantha said those things to him.

Helion on the latter was just watching the two and was grinning when Acantha said those words to the proud baron, who looks mad right now.

"You’re really different from my daughter, who was tamed and behaves properly." The baron said produly as he took glimps on the prince like he was boasting about her daughter on him.

When the baron unexpectedly brought up his daughter, Helion understood the message; he wanted him to know that he has his daughter, who was perfect unlike lady Acantha, and now he was with Acantha. That’s why he keeps on humiliating Acantha in front.

Acantha can sense that the baron was trying to humiliate her in front of Helion as he was bringing up his daughter, like he was telling him that his daughter was perfect and she’s not.

"Really?" Acantha said as she smirked at the baron again.

"Yes, you were nothing like her, not even close enough." The baron said as he smirked back at her and looked at Helion, who was just quiet at that time and was just watching them.

"Are you sure about that?" Acantha said as she was pissing the baron. "If she was perfect like what you said, why is she making some stories up? and why is she even chasing this man?" Acantha said as she pointed at Helion beside her, who looks at her.

"How dare you insult my daughter?" The baron said as he looked at Acantha, and he looks really like he was going to hurt her any moment if only Helion wasn’t beside her.

"You insulted me first, attempting to compare me with your daughter," Acantha said, gazing directly at the baron without attempting to look down.

"You likely wept to the duke in order to entice the crown prince to join you, as you are not at all like her." He said as he accused Acantha.

"Your not just a girl with no manners, but here you are also stealing someone’s man." The baron said as he looked at the prince, and this he didn’t mind his words and the way he looked at the two, as this girl in front of him was spitting so many words that were insulting not only him but also his pride.

"You better watch out your mouth, Lord Abellarde, if I were you." Helion warns the baron, as he too was insulted, not for him but for Acantha.

"You might forget who you are and who we are." Helion continues as he walks around the baron.

On the other side, the baron felt a little nervous; he was so angry awhile ago that he didn’t mind his words, and now it seems like he just pissed the crown prince himself.

"I apologize, Your Highness." The baron said as he only asked for the prince’s forgiveness and not bothering doing the same thing for the lady whom he didn’t want to admit the duchess of Klartis.

He also felt really pissed to see that the crown prince was here with this woman instead of his daughter.

His daughter, who was so perfect that no noble young woman could match her, was the future empress of this kingdom.

Acantha looked at the baron, who didn’t even bother asking for her forgiveness, as he only apologized to Helion and not her.

"Lord Abellarde, what are you doing here?" The duke asks coldly as he walks towards where his daughter and the two men were standing.

This must be one of the reasons why he was not feeling well this morning, as he knew his daughter would go on a mission with the crown prince.

He told them that he couldn’t go with them as the Emperor got him something to do, which is true, but he finished it fast as he was feeling that something was off.

That’s why he followed them; he knew about the barriers that Flamear put around the north, and he made some exceptions for him and the knights in Solaris.
