The duke was giving Helion some death glares as he was still try to find a reason why he was here.

"Can we all call some healer, please?" Acantha was the one to break the silence as it seems like the two men still trying to have some death glare contest.

The duke and Helion broke their stares from each other, I saw the Duke call someone from his side which I didn’t noticed where hiding from the corner.

The healer went inside and he tended Mildred’s bruises, but the Duke and Helion was still eyeing each other.

"Father, " I said as I tried to get the duke’s attention away from Helion.

The duke looks at me and now I can see the worry on his face as he saw me, "You should’ve rest, Aki" He said as he looks at Mildred behind me, " Mildred bring Acantha to her room she looks pale, let her have some rest," The Duke said to Mildred who obeyed the duke as she also can see that the lady exhausted as she can hear her hard breathe.

"B-but-" Acantha she didn’t got to finished what she was about to say when Mildred pulled her out from the room.

She was worried to left the two alone as she can sense the tension between them, but Acantha knew that the duke won’t let her if she insists and besides she was having some hard breath, this was sucks, if she was not unconscious, she was not feeling well, she can’t even do anything without her health being on her way .

She sighed as Mildred was holding her on her hand like she was some kind of a kid who will be lost if no one will hold her.

Helion sit on the sofa as soon as Acantha and Mildred left the room, he knew that the Duke was only worried about his daughter, and besides he too would want her to rest as he can feel that she was on her edge of losing all her energy.

"Now, it’s just the two of us, Your highness," The duke said to him as soon as he turn to face him, gone all the worry on his face and was replace with a cold and dark expression which the duke always had whenever he was with other people.

"Just like what I told you awhile ago, I was just merely visiting your daughter, after all she hurt when I was with her and in the palace, I just wanted to make sure that she was okay," He said as he look straight at the duke’s eyes to send him a message that he was telling him the truth.

Helion was partly saying the truth, he came here as he wanted to see if the lady was alright, and because he wanted to get some information about the Klartis Duchy who was still a mystery to every people in their empire.

Not, even the Empress and the Emperor knew about something in Klartis, his mother told him that the late Duchess was so secretive that even they were friends the Duchess didn’t said anything to her about the Klartis.

Helion did try asking the Hernand who was working as their healer in the palace but the latter said that he couldn’t say anything to anyone who was not part of the Klartis family and definitely not to someone who wasn’t from the North.

He was trying so hard to ask him, but later on Hernand said that he couldn’t do it as his magic was bound to the Klartis and everyone in the North who use to lived there and who survived when the Tenebrisaya attacked the palace they are all bound to the Klartis and they will die if they will spill what they knew about there.

"Are you listening to me, You’re highness?" Helion snapped back to reality when he heard the Duke’s voice who was now looking at him while frowning.

"What did you say, Duke?" He asked not minding with that he was admitting he wasn’t listening to him.

"I said you should stay away from my daughters," He said which made Helion straightened his back on the chair.

"What do you mean?" He asked not showing any emotions on his face.

"You know what I mean, You’re highness," He said and Helion saw how the Duke clenched his fist.

"I’m afraid I didn’t know what you are talking about, " Helion said as he was trying to hide his irritations to the Duke.

"You knew how my daughter adores you when you were young," The duke said as he was trying to make him remember which he didn’t need to.

Acantha has some affections on him when they were young, he used to go back in forth in this place to have some sword training from the Duke himself. Helion remembered that she was always following him whenever the Duke wasn’t around, but what’s that do with the Duke telling him to stay away from his daughter? That was ages ago!

"That was along time , Duke. You didn’t think that your daughter still feel the same?" Helion said as he scoffed at the Duke.

"That’s not what I meant, Some people might know about that, and beside you have a fiancée so, stop getting closer to my daughter," He said as he give him some death glare which Helion didn’t like.

How many times should people say that he has a fiancée when he didn’t even agreed on it? that was just his mother who was spreading some words as she like Noraya to be her daughter.

"If you think I was getting closer to your daughter because of what am I thinking right now is you need stop it, I don’t have any feelings for your daughter, I was just merely being a good person to see if she was alright as she was my responsibility as she was attacked by the dark magician because of me," He said and he didn’t know why the duke was suspecting him of having some relationship with his daughter, "And for the hundredths of times, Lady Noraya was not my fiancée," He said as stand up, it’s better to leave than to add some heat on their conversation.

He needed some release, a good sword fight with Jarnus might ease what he was feeling right now, and Helion didn’t know why he was feeling this in the first place.

He was raised to never show his emotions in front of the other’s as people might take an advantage on it, and beside he was never like this before he was always calm.

"Thank you for you kindness, Duke I’ll go ahead", He said in mocking way as he stopped and bid his goodbye to his former master.

"I hope you won’t back down from your words, Your highness," The Duke also answered him the same way he answered him awhile ago. Helion clench his jaw and move his way out of the place.

When he was far enough from the house as he knew he can’t use his power as Acantha was sensitive on it which is one of the reason why he was here in the first, he wanted to know if she knew something about the North which didn’t happened as he saw how the Count was about hit here awhile ago which made him mad and almost killed the man if not only the Duke appeared.

He uses his mana to teleport himself to the castle’s barracks where the royal knights were having their trainings, Jarnus saw him and walk towards him, but when he notice his deadly aura he stopped from approaching him.

Helion saw that all of the knights stopped doing what they are doing that time and he frowned as he yelled " Back to you training!" He face Jarnus and he summoned two swords as he motion him to fight him in a sword fight.

Ever since that day in the library Acantha was not allowed to get out from her room, the royal healer also visited her twice for the last three days, and now here she was riding in an anti-magic carriage on her way to the Klartis, she didn’t know what to expect their, she might know that there are some magical things there but she didn’t know what to do with them.

All she knew was Acantha was the only one who can wake the beasts which she did when she died on the beasts side.

She sighed as she was looking forward on seeing the North and also she was worried what she may encounter their.

"Are you alright , My Lady?" Mildred asked as she was the one who was riding with her as the duke was outside riding on his horse as he said that he needed to make sure that no one will attack them while they were having their journey to the north.

She sighed as she nodded, she asked Mildred if her mother said something about the North, which Mildred said that the late Duchess didn’t said anything about the North, except saying it was beautiful.

Acantha didn’t asked the Duke as she was shy to ask him why the need to go there? She officially claimed it as her when she turned to her age, the very same day she was hit by some dark magic.

She looked out the carriage all she can see was trees.

Acantha hope that the North would be kind to her as she knew that there are lots of monster who were attacking there, but the her father said that it was already safe there from the monster.

She looked again outside the window but this time she saw some lake and she just stared at it ...
