Acantha saw how the Helion threw Count Minaro who was now coughing in blood while writhing in pain she can see that he was walking towards to Count Minaro as he still looks like he was ready to kill when the door opened, she saw her father rush to Helion and stopped his hand.

"What do you think you’re doing, Your highness?" The duke asked and Acantha can see that he was confuse on what was going on. "And what are you all doing here?" He said as he looked at the three who was now in the floor.

The two didn’t even lift their face as they were scared of what the duke and the prince might do to them if they did.

"No one’s gonna answer me?" He still continued as he sighed as he roamed his eyes in the place.

"W-were h-having a meeting, Duke," The Count said as he cough some blood.

"Having some meeting? Is this the new way of a meeting? And didn’t my people here told you that I wasn’t here?" He asked as he looked at the Count , he was called by one his knight that he left at home, and told him that the councils went to his home, he didn’t even heard all the things as he rush his way to his home and use his magic to teleport.

"Th-they demanded to see you, Your grace" Mildred was the one who speak as she was looking at the duke.

"Mildred!" The duke exclaimed as he saw the big bruise on her face, "What happened to your face?" The duke asked as he was concerned to the maid whom his wife treats like a friend and the one who raises his daughter when he was not around.

"Lady Acantha talked to them as they were demanding for the Duchy to send their more funds for their projects, and the lady instructed me to get the ledger in the library and she told them that she saw something wrong with the records," Mildred said as she didn’t answer the duke’s question about her face.

"The lady found out that the three councils were using the fund for their own pleasure, and the knights swords were not made from the materials that they put in the record and was made in a poor quality, that’s why Your grace most of the knights swords are easy to break," Mildred said and the duke’s face darkened when he heard those things.

The duke face the three as he was looking deadly at them. "And you have the nerve to walk in here?" The duke said as he faces the three who was startled when he raises his voice.

"And what are you doing here Your highness?" He asked as he was still frowning at the prince not minding the status between them as the latter was also a master and student before.

"I was visiting your daughter," He said now calmly as he looked at her.

"Visiting my daughter?" The Duke asked as he looked at me and back to the prince again. " I didn’t know that you two are close? " He said as he was grimacing at the prince.

"W-we only met once, father" Acantha said as she finally speak up.

The Duke just nodded at what she said and he looks back again at the three who was still there," I was walking my way to the hall when I heard some noises at the living room, there I saw the three of them were looking for you, they were yelling and demanding at Mildred for an audience, Mildred told them that you are not here "Acantha said as she looked at the Duke who was now looking at her again and listening to her story.

"I step up , as I couldn’t bear them insulting Mildred" She continued as she scoffed at the three men who looks like their gonna lose their life any moment now, " Then I Invited them here and ask Mildred to get the ledger since when I read it I found something wrong, I tried asking them in a calm way and even beg them to calm, but they uses force I tried fighting them all but I can’t" I said as I sob at my father, as he hugged me.

"You dare hurt my daughter?!" He yelled at them which made them startled, I looked at them and smirk as I continued to fake my sobs.

"I was scared H-he hit, Mildred father! He was about to slapped me but Mildred shielded me and she took the hit! H-he tried to hit me again, but his highness arrived this time," I said as I cried hard to make it more believable I did even fake trembling, if they think they can just get away with then they were wrong.

After all, they deserved some punishment for all the misdeed they did, If I wont they will still be doing this in the future or may worse.

The duke walks towards them again and he grabbed Count Minaro by his collar, " You! How dare you threaten the people who lives here! How dare you to try to hurt my daughter?!" He yelled as he punch the count on his face. He threw the count to the wall and give him a hard kick, and he turned to face the other two who was now crawling away from the duke who was following them.

He first grabbed Baron Cargins who made a loud noise when the duke caught him on his foot. " I trusted you to manage the funds for the weapons as your family were the one who has been doing it for so many years, and you came from a knights family! How can you insult us and give the knights some poor swords? Did you know that many knights died while fighting the monsters because they couldn’t even kill a single monster with their swords as it’s either it was broken or it was melted," The duke said as he was choking the Baron who was wiggling his legs in protest.

Acantha just look at them, she should feel pity but she can’t even give them that as they if she remembers all the people who was starving because of these people who was using their power to steal money from people they deserved it.

"F-forgive me Duke!" Lord Sandriano said as he craws to the Duke’s feet and try to take ahold of the duke on his leg while the latter was still holding the Baron on it’s neck.

The duke throw Baron Cargins to where the Count was lying down, as he was holding his neck.

"Why should I forgive you? How about those people who were dying because of hunger as you just took all the funds for the crops and for their ration?" The Duke said as he kicked Lord Sandriano and he went flying to the the other wall which made a crack on the wall itself.

Acantha look a little bit startled when she felt something brushes her shoulder , she turns to see you it was she saw that Helion was already next to hear who was watching the duke as he was punishing the three people.

"Fabiaaaann!" The duke yelled and Fabian went in and he looks so serious.

"Yes, Your grace?" Fabian said as he asked the Duke without even looking at the three people who were now lying.

"Bring these three to the dungeons, you know what to do, and tell Erkin to go to the East and seize everything from the Baron’s house and give the people there some foods and tell him to sent the knights who were deployed in the Baron’s house to go to the field and protect it as it was the source of the people who lived their," The Duke instructed Fabian who was now holding the three , he put the Count in his shoulder as he grasp the two men on his hands as he pulled them out of the room.

Acantha only notice that there were some knights who was also their as they were looking at what happened and was waiting for their leader.

"Zerth, go to the Solaris blacksmith and instruct them to stop making all the weapons, and after that try to look for people who were importing some high class of steel and try to get them to supply the Solaris Duchy" He said to the knight who was left after the other went out and followed Fabian.

The knight who’s named Zerth bows before he left the room as he followed what the Duke told him.

The Duke sighed and as turns his back to face them again, "Now, let’s get back to business Your highness" He said and I can sense danger in his aura as he faces the prince who didn’t even flinch when he was looking at the duke eye to eye.

"I should say my thanks first for saving my daughter, , I’m only grateful for what you did for my daughter, but didn’t answer my question why are you still here?" The duke said as he walks near Helion who was also not taking his eyes off the Duke.

Acantha look at them as she can feel the strong auras surrounding the two of them.
