She handed me the ledgers that I discovered in the library and saw that every year they are using the same reason to the duke who seems to be oblivious on it as he was always away and didn’t care too much about as he trusted this people.

This people whose family has been serving the Solaris Duchy for hundreds of years with loyalty, but here! Their ancestors must be rolling in their grave knowing how their descendants did to the family that they had been serving for their life.

"I-I" Lord Sandriano was stuttering as I was looking at him.

I stand from where I am sitting and walks around them.

"How can your territory be attacked when you have enough funds for insuring the crops that you have their as well as the people who are living there?" I said as I lean at him and whisper on his ears,

"Lady Acantha! Have you gone mad?" Count Minaro said as he looked at us," You’re a young woman and Lord Sandriano is older than you , show some respect!" He said as he stomp his cane which I didn’t notice he had since I wasn’t paying attention.

I smirked at him, " Respect is two way street, and hard earned, I respect those people who deserves it but too bad all of you don’t deserve my respect, " I said as I give them my deadliest stare.

"First, Lord Sandriano, you didn’t station all the knights that was lent to you by my father to the area where the crops are to protect it and instead you use them in your home and pretended to be your own knights, you and your wife always have some parties in your home, which I can conclude where you use the money that was for crops and ration for those who were affected by the draught," I said as throw the ledgers to them.

"And you Lord Cargins, Care to share what you did to the funds for the weapons? " I said as I walk closer to Count Borgins who paled.

"Mildred" I said as I sign her to get the sword which I told her to prepare when I told her to get the ledgers which is one of my surprises for them.

I throw the sword on the table which made them startled a bit, " Is this a proper sword for those knights who were fighting and dying just to make sure that you people are safe from the monsters?!"I asked as I raises my voice at them.

"This is insulting! How dare a young woman raises her voice to her elders?" Count Minaro said as he stands up from where he was sitting and he also raises his voice at me.

"This must be the reason why the late Duchess died, because she knows that her daughter will turn into an insolent one!" The Count said as he stomp his crane as he looks at me angrily.

I glared at him how dare he brought up the late Duchess? " And who do you think you are to brought my mother up?! Do you think I didn’t know what’s in your closet too?" I said as I smirked and pointed the sword on his neck which I got from the table, he just hit the button when he brought the Duchess as a girl who didn’t received any affections from her own parents in my past, and for the real Acantha who didn’t got to know her mother, that was the last straw.

"This is such a barbaric attitude you have, You!" He said and he points Mildred," Didn’t you taught your lady some etiquette?" He said as he was still trying to have his dignity intact.

"You still haven’t seen my barbaric side, Lord Minaro. You won’t like it when I’m on my barbaric side, and beside you keep talking about etiquette and respect, you should be the one who’s respecting me, I have a higher status than you ," I said as I slap his finger that was still pointing at Mildred.

Everyone was looking at me like they’re gonna kill me with the way they are glaring at me, "Now, let’s go back to business, You Count Minaro! You like playing at the gambling house which is the reason why you are here as you are going to ask for money from the duke as he was your cousin," I said as I stared at him.

That is why he has the nerve to go and boss around here is because he is the duke’s second cousin.

"How dare you accuse me of that? Our families had been serving the Duke’s family even before you were born!" He said as he is still not admitting what he had done.

"That’s why you’re ancestors must be rolling in the graves seeing how their descendants did to the family they served for hundreds of years," I said as I look them in their eyes one by one as I was saying those words.

He was about to slapped me when Mildred went in our way and she was slapped by him which made me more furious.

"Mildred!" I said as I looked at the count who was still raising his hand and was about to slap me when I caught his hands, and twists it.

Damned where are the knights in this place when we need them?

"Grab her!" Count Minaro said to the others as he was still in pain.

The others who was also there tries to hold me when I punched one of them, I tried kicking them but the dress wasn’t helping.

I use my head to hit Lord Cargins who was in front of me trying to pin my hands.

I saw Count Minaro get up from where he was and he was walking his way to us, I saw how angry he was as he looks at me.

He raises his cane and was about to hit me, I close my eyes and wait for it to hit me when I suddenly feel light, and I heard some noises.

"Are you okay?" He asked I open my eyes and saw that it was the prince who was now holding me on my face and trying to see whether I was hurt or not.

I stiffened when I feel his breathe on my face, damn if there is some flaw with this man is he was stupidly in love withe Noraya, but his face? hate to admit but he was very handsome.

He only let me go when I nodded and he saw that I was not hurt. "What are you doing at her?" He asked and I can sense some danger on his voice, and I saw how they were trembling in fear.

He was about draw his sword at them when," No, Your highness!" Mildred stopped him and he looked back at Mildred who was now beside me still trying to shield me with her body.

"You can’t use any magic in here," Mildred said to the prince as he was still looking at him like he was trying to tell why.

Acantha saw how the prince sighed as he maybe realized why he couldn’t draw his sword in here. He walked to where he the Count is who was still enduring the pain from being thrown to wall.

The others was trembling as they give him his way and was about to leave when-

"If anyone of you try to escape from here, I will hunt you wherever you are and you will get worst punishment, " He said as he lift the Count in the air like he was a feather.

"Forgive us Your highness!" Baron Cargins pleaded as he kneel to the prince.

"Forgive us Your highness!" Lord Sandriano as he also kneel while pleading for his life.

They knew better that the crown prince is a monster when he was punishing someone as well as in the battlefield.

Acantha saw how he turned back and face the Count who was now facing the floor while also kneeling in front of him.

Helion was seeing blood when he went to the Solaris Duchy to visit the Acantha when he saw that there so many unfamiliar knights outside the duke’s palace.

Does the duke has some visitors? He didn’t even see any knights even at the gate which is odd, that’s why he uses his power to teleport his self inside.

He landed at the living room where he saw some maid who seems to be worried.

"Do you think they will be okay?" One of the maid ask as she looks at the stairs.

"I already sent one Gio to call the Duke, " The maid who was facing the other maid who looks worried also said in a worried voice.

"What happened?" He asked which made the two maids looked at him and when they recognized he was they bow at him.

"Tell me what’s going on" He said as he asked the two maids again.

"The Solaris Councils are here and they demanded to talk to the Duke, but he was not here. Lady Acantha was now talking to them, and a while ago we saw Mildred rans as she was holding some books as she went to the library," The maid said as she was still looking down.

"But, that wasn’t the problem Your highness, when I went upstairs I heard some loud noises and the lady seems to be mad at the councils, as she discovers that the councils did something to funds that the duke sent them," The other maid said as she face him, but when she saw his face darkened she looks down.

Helion didn’t say anything but instead he walk his way to the library as he already knew where it was.

When he was there he heard some noises which made him open the door and he saw red when he did as he was witnessing how the count raises his cane and try to hit Acantha who closes her eyes.

Without hesitating he runs as he push the two men who he didn’t know who, and he grab the man on its collar and throw him to wall which made the man cough in blood.

He went to Acantha and caress her face as her eyes were still close," Are you okay?". He asked as he was worried that she was hurt he roamed his eyes on her to check whether she was hurt or not.

He let her go when she nodded that she wasn’t hurt, their face were too close and Helion can smell her scent which made him stiffened for a while as he stand up and was ready to draw his sword when-

" No, Your highness!" He heard someone shouted and when he turn around to see who it was he saw that it was Acantha’s maid, he looked at her with a look asking her why/

"You can’t use any magic in here," She said to him it feels like someone pours him some cold water when he realized that Acantha was sensitive when it comes to magic, if he diffuses his mana from his sword and walks towards the man who was writhing in pain. He saw the other two from his peripheral vision that they were trembling in fear. As they should as he was really mad.

He saw that the two was trying to craw their way to the door.

"If anyone of you try to escape from here, I will hunt you wherever you are and you will get worst punishment, " He said as looked at them which made them stopped from trying to escape.

He heard the two said but he was not paying attention to them anymore, as he grabbed the man on it’s neck and lift him on the air.

"It seems like you and I do have a lot of things to discuss, Count Minaro" Helion said as he smirked and give him his deadliest stare and he can feel how the count tremble.

He uses his all might and punch the Count which made the latter being thrown to wall which mad e a crack.

He walks again near him, but before he could even give him another punch, someone stopped his hands, he turned around to see who it was and-
