Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 139: Lost Control...
Chapter 139: Lost Control...
Abanoon was really feeling weak.
How could this have happened?
She did everything from the ritual she had made, and yet...
Abanoon looked at her hand as she could feel her soul again slipping from the body.
She really needed to find that body that contained the soul of this body, as she needed to imprison that soul permanently to that rotten body.
"You still didn’t find it?" Abanoon said when she saw Paul and his son arrive empty-handed.
"We’ve tried our best looking for the woman, Master but we couldn’t find a woman who was wearing your necklace." Paul said as he sighed at her.
That damned necklace.
It wasn’t really hers to begin with, as those stupid goddesses destroyed her things. It’s good that her sister still have hers and she stole it from her to make her own artifact.
She infuses some of Solaia’s things with darkness to defile them, but those damned things keep on resisting her power.
No one knew that she only had a few things, except for Paul, who helped her; that’s why Paul aged now.
He could hide his own age using his power, but that still couldn’t stop him from aging, as it was the cost of defiling a divine artifact.
She still needed to find the other things that Solaia had.
She needed to get it to make her more powerful.
That woman must have escaped and taken the necklace with her.
Abanoon screamed when she felt the sudden pain again in her soul.
This damned feeling that she will end if she finds the owner of this body.
She knew where she sent her, but that’s her problem.
If only she knew that the soul of this body would resist hers, she should’ve put her near her.
Now, that damned woman was out of reach and she can’t even feel the energy from the necklace anymore.
Abanoon went into a rage as the pain was surging.
She lost control of her power, which made the place she stayed crumble.
"M-master..." She looked at Paul, who was looking at her worriedly, while his son was just standing there not giving any care.
How she hates Paul’s son, but wait- why does he look familiar?
His eyes seem familiar to her.
"We need to leave this place." He heard Paul say to her as he looked at the whole place.
Abanoon knew that Solaia would find out about this place and Paul was right that they should leave this place immediately.
And besides, they needed to stay low, as she still can’t control her power right now.
If they fought against Acantha now, she would probably get herself and her people be killed by her.

Acantha looked at the people who were enjoying themselves while having some party.
Her father was still talking to the nobles, who were discussing she didn’t even know what, as she wasn’t paying attention to them when she came back here.
"Lady Acantha, what are you doing here in the corner?" She looked at the lady who said it to her.
Acantha frowned as she didn’t recall knowing this lady in front of her.
"I am Lady Soo Yarin ." She introduces her name, but Acantha didn’t even know which family she came from.
She looks like she was not from the noble circle, as she didn’t know anyone with Yarin’s name.
"Yarin?" Acantha asked as she looked at her and the lady smirked at her.
"You probably knew us. Yarin came from here in the south." She proudly said as she looked at her down with what she was wearing.
Acantha wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, as her father told her that they were going to catch something, but it seems like there was none.
Lady Yarin, as she said, was wearing very fancy clothes that didn’t match some of the decorations on her.
She reminds her of the Christmas tree back when she was living as Lucille.
"I’m sorry, but I didn’t know anyone with Yarin’s name," Acantha said coldly as she looked at the glasses in her hand.
Acantha could see that the lady gritted her teeth in the corner of her eyes, and she seemed pissed at what she just said.
"I know you’re just jealous of me, my lady-" the lady said, which made Acantha look at her and eye her again.
"And why would I feel jealous of you?" Acantha said as she looked at the lady eye to eye, which made the latter feel awkward, but that was only for a second as Acantha saw her smirk again.
"Well, everyone in the empire knows how rich the Yarins are. You know we always get the best." The lady said as this time she didn’t hide how she grimaced as she eyed her from head to toe.
"I’m sorry, Lady but I don’t feel any bit of jealousy towards you and besides, I have no time for that," Acantha said as she wanted to let the lady slip up on what she just said.
"You’re becoming rude, aren’t you? Is it because your family was the one who was protecting the South? We were paying you to do that. You’re nothing but just a mere family of knights with titles," Lady Yarin said and it seems like she said it so loudly that the other people started looking at them.
"What was going on in here?" Acantha looked and she saw Lady Dreanna with Lady Roys, who seemed to be confused.
"Oh, it’s nothing, Lady Roys. I was just simply putting people in their place, not because they were born as noble they could just think that they were higher than us, a noble with nothing but a title." Lady Yarin said as she opened her fan and started using it.
"What are you saying, Lady Yarin?" Lady Roys asked as she looked horrified at what the other lady just said.
"Are you perhaps pertaining to Lady Acantha?" Lady Dreanna asked her as she was frowning at the lady who just smirked.
"Yes, she was so rude. I just greeted her and told her about our family name, and yet she insulted us by not knowing who we are," the lady said as she rolled her eyes at her.
"You must be mistaken, Lady Yarin. And based on what you said a while ago, it seems like you lack some education about the noble families in our society," Lady Dreanna said as she looked at her apologetically and looked back to Lady Yarin again.
"I was taught by the finest teacher here in our empire, Lady Dreanna. I am not mistaken; there was nothing on the list about the Duke Solaris territories or things he owned, so Lady Acantha didn’t have any right to act so highly when she was even poorer than the people in the slums. She only got lucky because of her titles, but still, she was unfortunate," Lady Yarin said as she looked at her angrily.
"And besides, didn’t the empress hate her? The empress even said that she was the one who brought all the chaos here in our empire, so I didn’t know why people were still looking so highly of them when we were paying their households to protect us." She continued and Acantha was starting to feel irritated as the lady was spitting some words she didn’t like.
She didn’t like how she kept on dragging the honor of her family name.
"I hope you could take responsibility for your words, Lady Yarin. Insulting nobles is a grave mistake in our empire, and besides, the reason why you can’t see any information about us is because, unlike you, we don’t like bragging about things we own," Acantha said as she looked at the lady and gave her a warning by looking her in the eyes.
"Ha! You’re just saying that because you are poor!" The lady still insisted and Lady Dreanna stopped her.
"You should stop insulting Lady Acantha and Lady Yarin, and besides, aren’t you a little bit shameless? The Duchy of Solaris wasn’t asking for any payment for protecting us," Lady Dreanna said as she looked at the woman in front of them who seemed to act like a kid instead of her age.
"And besides, Lady Acantha was born with two noble houses in our empire; she was not just a Lady but you should call her Her Grace, as she inherited the duchess of the north from her mother," Lady Roys said as she and Lady Dreanna faced Lady Yarin, who stiffened at what she heard.
"And Lady Yarin? The Solaris and the Klartis are richer than what you might think." Lady Roys said as she glared at Lady Yarin.
Acantha was impressed by how time changes Lady Roys.
The lady that once looked so scared to look others in the eyes now knew how to handle things and to fight back.
She looked at Lady Dreanna, who was also standing in front of her, as they were still facing the lady who turned red in humiliation.
"Why is she making some scene again?" People start whispering as they are looking at Lady Yarin, who is now looking at the floor.
Lady Yarin was about to say something as she lifted her head when suddenly the door opened and -
