Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 114: Where Is She?
Chapter 114: Where Is She?
Acantha slept that whole afternoon as she didn’t get enough sleep last night. Flamear already went back and got the duke’s body to send it to the magical forest where fairies will guard it.
She was just taking a rest as they were going early in the morning and she needed to prepare her body for whatever they may encounter there.
Flamear was also taking some rest, as he has been coming back and forth from the Solaris and the Klartis Duchy.
Acantha also thought about the sound everyone heard this afternoon; Flamear was really right.
Those things called death has a name; maybe Flamear just didn’t bother naming them, as she had read Solaia’s book again, and there she saw that those things were called the soul sucker.
Soul suckers were made to suck the people’s souls to give them a form and make them stronger, especially the one who made them.
Acantha also looked for Land of the Dead, but there were just a few things she read about it.
It seems like just what they said to her was that it was just a myth, but knowing Flamear. He must have been there before, but the world seems to have changed and he must have forgotten where it was.
The only clue they have is the directions and the place seems to be describing the empire of Tenebrisaya.
But not the exact location of where they could find it in that place.
"My Lady?" Acantha looked at the door when she heard someone knock from the door, and Mildred came in with a glass of milk.
"What is it, Mildred?" Acantha asked as she accepted the milk from her.
"Can’t I really come with you, my lady?" Mildred said as she sighed when she sits on her bed beside her.
Acantha looked at Mildred and sighed at her too; as much as she wanted Mildred to come, she wouldn’t risk her life.
She was already risking Fabian’s and the others lives and she didn’t want to add that.
"I can’t risk your life, Mildred. The moment Abanoon and her people knew we were in their territory, they would be there and it would be dangerous for you to come there with us." Acantha said as she looked at her, who seemed to be sad but also seemed to realize the danger in that place.
"I know, my lady. But I promised the duke and the duchess to be always there for you." Mildred said sadly, but it gave warmth to Acanth’s heart knowing that was what Mildred was thinking.
"You already did so much, Mildred. You did so much to the point that you have been abducted by Paul and Evander." Acantha said as she looked at Mildred, but there was anger in her chest when she remembered that she almost lost Mildred too.
"Just stay here, Mildred." Acantha said as she looked warmly at Mildred. "I’ve already made sure that this place would be hidden from everyone until I return here to make everyone safe." Acantha said as she looked at Mildred, who just nodded her head at her.
"I hope you understand that I value your life, and I don’t want to loose any people now," Acantha said as she looked at Mildred sadly.
Mildred looked at her warmly and didn’t say anything even after she finished drinking the milk that she had given to her.
Acantha took a nap again for the second time.
-------
"Wake up, my lady." She opened her eyes when she felt a soft paw on her face, waking her up.
"Is it already time, Flamear?" Acantha asked as she looked at Flamear as she sat on her bed while rubbing her hand; she was still sleepy; that’s why she yawned.
"Yes, Fabian and the others were already ready and just waiting for us to come down." Flamear said to her, which made her panic a little bit and she went straight to her bathroom to take a shower.
After she took her shower and got dressed, she and Flamear went down to where Fabian and the others were waiting for them.
"Thank you for waiting." Acantha said as she looked at them and by the looks of it, they looked like they hadn’t gotten enough sleep.
"It’s a pleasure, Lady." Acantha said as she looked at them.
"We need to get to the north first to reduce the time for our traveling." Acantha said and she teleported them to the north without a warning.
"Let’s have a visit first to Elida and others." Acantha said as she walked and guided them to where the magical forest is.
She saw that the three looked awed, as it was their first time going there; only people who have Klartis blood and spouses of the Klartis had the right to let the others enter this place.
They walked for many minutes and when she finally saw some small lights coming in their direction.
It seems like the fairies sensed that they were coming.
"Lady Acantha." The fairies greeted her warmly and happily.
"Flamear, you’re here again," the fairies said as they looked at Flamer happily.
"But who are they, lady? They are not the man whose eye color was blood?" Acantha turned to where the fairies were pointing at Fabian and others.
"Man who has eyes with color of blood?" Zerth asked as he looked at her.
"She means the crown prince." Acantha said as she saw the three just nod at her.
"Can you bring us where Elida and my father are?" Acantha said as she looked at the fairy, who was now on her finger and was hugging it.
"Of course, my lady." The fairies said as they started flying and Acantha and the others just followed them.
When they arrived at where Elida is, Acantah remembered this place, as this is where Flamear was also sleeping for thousands of years.
But it looks different; there were flowers that were surrounding the duke’s body, while she could clearly see the barrier to preserve his body and no one would dare to touch it.
"Your Grace." The three said as they bowed to give respect to their beloved duke.
Acantha also noticed that her father’s face changed; it was not worse anymore. His face was back, but there is still no sign of life on it.
"Lady." Elida greets her as she pays her some respect.
"Elida, thank you so much." Acantha said as she looked at the elder fairy with tears in her eyes.
"It was nothing, my lady. We just let the duke swallow one of the fruits here to bring his form back." Elida said, which made her curious about the said fruit, but she didn’t say anything anymore.
"I heard from Flamear that you were all going to the land of the dead?" Elida asked her and Acantha just nodded as an answer as she went to her father’s side and held his hand for the last time.
"That place was dangerous, my lady." Elida said as she looked at her with worries on her face.
"I know Elida, but I needed to retrieve my memories as Solaia." Acantha said as she put her father’s hand and face on Elida. "I badly needed it not just because of that, but also because Abanoon was making some disturbances across the empire." Acantha continued as she sighed in front of the lady.
"I know my lady but-" Elida looked at everyone as she was worried and put some spells so that no one could hear what she said.
Acantha’s eyes widened at what she said, but she was too determined to back out and besides, not only her father will be safe for it.
Elida undid the spell she cast and put her hands on her head and the fairies decided to do the same thing to others.
"I will give you a blessing that you may succeed on your conquest and may no harm come your way, that you’ll be back safely here again." Elida said and the other fairies followed; there was some golden yellow light that surrounded them when the fairies said those words.
"Till we see each other again, dear old friends." Elida said and Acantha and the others were surprised to see that they were now at the border between the north and Tenebrisaya.
The place looked quiet, and Acantha used her magic to change their appearances as they walked there.
--------
Helion woke up early again this morning. As soon as he woke up, he went straight to where the border of the Solaris Duchy was, only to be surprised to see that he seemed to teleport himself to another place.
No...
His teleportation skills weren’t wrong even before....
But why is the place different?
Why it seems like the place changed and he couldn’t find the Solaris anymore.
All he could see was some small village that was not here before.
Helion walked to the nearest house and there he saw some people were busy doing their own work.
"It is his highness, the crown prince!" He heard people start shouting when they recognized him.
"I-—do you mind if I ask you a question? Why is your village here?" Helion asked politely, as he didn’t want to offend them.
"We didn’t know you forgot about us, Your Highness, but we lived here for so many years." The chief, the village, answered as he chuckled at his question.
"But isn’t it supposed to be where the Solaris Duchy is?" Helion asked as he frowned.
"No, Your Highness, we’ve been here for our whole life." The chief village answered him again and Helion just nodded at him, even though he was still confused.
Did Acantha do something to the Solaris?
If so, where are they now?
Where is she?
Helion looked at the place again with a heavy heart, as he couldn’t see the place where he used to go and the place where she lived.
