Villainess Want's To Ignore Them!
Chapter 110: Reaping What They Sow...

Chapter 110: Reaping What They Sow...

Acantha looked at the sky when she came out of their house...

It seems like it was going to rain soon; she stand up and suddenly she feels the ground shaking.

Is there an earthquake?

She almost rolled her eyes at her own stupidity.

Everyone in their place hasn’t got any news about what was going on outside their duchy.

and no one ever went to the capital to see what was happening there now.

Her father really cut off everything from there.

He and Flamear always go to secure their duchy with barriers, as they want to make sure that not only the people who live in their home are safe, but also those who live in their duchy.

"My Lady?" Acantha looked at Mildred, who just came, as she looked worried; she may feel the shaking of the ground too.

"Are you alright?" Mildred asked her as she scanned her from head to feet, trying to see if she was hurt somewhere.

"I’m fine." Acantha said as she was assuring Mildred that she was fine.

"It seems like there’s going to be a big storm that’s coming." Mildred said and she looked at the sky.

Acantha just nodded at Mildred, who was still looking at the sky.

She didn’t know, but she was feeling something bad about what was going on.

She looks at the sky again and sighs; why would she bother with things?

The last time she minded someone’s business, she was condemned and accused of bringing bad luck all over the empire.

Worse, they wanted to kill her; that’s why they even brought their torches to make her admit that she was the one who did those things in here.

"Let’s get inside, Mildred." Acantha said as she looked at Mildred, who just nodded at her.

When they were inside, the duke and Flamear were already there in the receiving room.

"You’re home, Father." Acantha said as she greeted her father and pet, Flamear, who jumped to her.

"Yes, Flamear and I had already tightened the barrier to avoid getting unexpected guests or unexpected attacks.

Acantha nodded at her father, as she already knew about it.

She knew that if they didn’t do it, the whole place would crumble once Abanoon attacked the place.

That was the last thing she wanted to happen to their place; she had seen Solaris was a wide territory, and there were so many families relaying their safety to the duke.

"Have you felt it too, Father?" Acantha asked as she looked at her father.

"Yes, it’s already rainy season, so I guess it’s normal for us to get some bad weather and even ground shaking." He said as he looked at her, assuring her that everything was normal and fine.

But Acantha still wasn’t convince looked down on her arms and saw that Flamear was quiet.

"You can have a rest now, and I’ll just let Mildred call you for supper." The duke said as he caressed her hair and gave her a peck on her forehead.

Acantha sighed and obeyed her father; she went to her room and put Flamear on his bed.

"You know it wasn’t a normal weather problem, right?" Acantha said as she looked at Flamear.

Flamear didn’t answer her, but instead he walked to the balcony and changed his form.

Acantha finds it weird that Flamear didn’t answer her and just went straight to the balcony as if he was anticipating something.

He turned around and looked at her.

"We need to go to the border." Flamear said as he looked at her and Acantha nodded as they both disappeared from her room.

They were at the opening of their territory and she was still unaware of what Flamear was looking for, or rather, she should say what they were waiting for.

"What is it, Flamear?" Acantha asked as she was riding on his back and suddenly they heard a very disturbing sound.

It was like a combination of horn and trumpet sounds, and it was really painful on her ears.

Acantha covered her ears, as the sounds kept on going on.

It was almost ten minutes of torture on her ears when the sounds seemed to be finally toning down.

She opened her eyes and looked around and saw that the place outside the barrier seemed to be so dark; it was like they had different skies.

She was even startled when Flamear started howling madly, and when she looked in front of her outside the barrier, there were some ghost-like figures, but they also looked like they were formed from a dust that was spread through the air.

And when Flamear howled at them, they suddenly disappeared from nowhere.

"What are those?" Acantha looked at Flamear when those things were gone.

"They were the ones that Abanoon created to kill people; she had never done it before, but I already knew about it as they were our mortal enemies as a divine beast; they were death in any sense; Abanoon must have used some sacred and very dark magic to make them, though those things weren’t as horrible as the real ones," he said as he was explaining things to her.

"That sound that you heard a while ago, that was the sign that they were coming, and the shaking of the ground awhile ago, is because it was a warning that death was coming in this place." Flamear said as he looked at her as they walked.

"We already had a barrier, but why still can they see us?" Acantha said the barrier was supposed to block the evil things from coming to their place.

"No, the dead can see people’s souls, a soul that they’re going to it in order to become stronger." Flamear answered as he used his power to bring their back on her room.

"That’s why if you hear them, never ever open your door and greet them." Flamear said as he went straight to his own bed and closes his eyes.

Now, she was getting worried about those people even though they pushed her on the edge and made it look like they didn’t need them.

She just hoped that no one was hurt or everyone was protected from those, even though she wasn’t there anymore for them.

-------

Helion had evacuated those people who were hurt a while ago when they held the ritual to thank their ancestors and gods.

"Your highness, there were many people who had been hurt, but we were still lucky that no one had died." Jarnus reported to him as he looked around the place where the imperial healers were healing them, headed by Hernand.

His parents were already in the palace as he said that he would take over.

He was about to walk when suddenly they heard a very disturbing sound.

Everyone who was in the room covered their ears when they heard those sounds.

Helion saw Hernand was walking in his direction, looking like he was panicking.

"Your highness, we must close all the doors in here and the window.

"Why? What do you mean?" Helion asked, as he didn’t get what he said.

"Just do it; we don’t have much time. Also, send a warning to the palace." Hernand said as he looked at Jarnus, who looked confused but obeyed his order and disappeared using his own mana stone.

"We need to warn the empire." Hernand said as he looked at him.

"But how?" He asked as he looked at him and was telling him he should know what to do.

Helion sighed; he now gets it. Hernand wanted him to use the only magic that the royal family can command the people in their empire with.

Helion lifted his hands and sent messages to everyone to not go out and closed their doors as soon as possible.

Not long enough, Jarnus went back and looks like he was tired from using too much of his energy from coming back and forth the whole day.

"Now, can you tell me what was happening?" Helion said as he was still wincing at the painful sound.

"That sound was calling death." Hernand said as he looked at him.

"What do you mean?" Helion asked, but Hernand didn’t answer as he looked; the sound stopped.

"Looked. Hernand got his own lacrima that was infused with mana stones, and he looked surprised when he could see some things surrounding the whole empire.

Helion also noticed that everyone already knew what to do and closed and locked their houses.

Helion saw one of those things that was floating in the air knocked into one of the houses, or he should say it looked like a tavern.

The door opened, and the man who opened the door stiffened, and they were horrified at the next scene when those things suddenly sucked his soul.

And when they finished, the man looked dry as a dead tree and aged like an old man and very thin.

"What did happen?" Helion looked at Jarnus when Ernie, who just came beside them, looked horrified at the scene. the saw.

Helion looked at him to answer but-
