Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 109: An Eventful Day...
Chapter 109: An Eventful Day...
Abanoon was inside her castle that night as she was thinking of seeing Dromonos...
No, Dromonos was dead...
She killed him....
And she will kill him again if he will be causing her weakness...
"My Lady, we already did what you instructed us to do." Abanoon raises her eyebrows towards Paul’s son.
"You know that woman?" Abanoon, said, which made the boy look at her with confusion in his eyes.
"That woman, name Acantha." Abanoon said as she looked at the boy, who looked away for a second.
"Y-yes, my lady." He answered and Abanoon looked at him, and just nodded her head. "Is there anything you still need, my lady?" He asked, which made Abanoon look suspicious towards him as she shook her head.
Abanoon looked at the boy who was walking away from her.
He must be Paul’s son, but he was nothing like him.
Now, she needs to think to make her plan a success this time...
Solaia has always been a pest to her, even in her reincarnation now.
She heard that sound and she knows only she can play it.
It was a divine artifact that was bestowed on them when they were babies.
But she destroyed hers as a sign of cutting ties to everyone after she killed that annoying woman.
She looked at her hand and she had some idea....
What Paul’s son did wasn’t enough.
Abanoon whispered something on her hand.
Now, let’s see what will happen to this place...
She heard that they accused that woman of being the one who brought bad things in this empire...
Mortals can really be stupid for pushing the person who was helping...
But their loss is her gain...
She can eliminate them easily without her helping them...
Now, after she eliminates this place, she will elminate Solaia and she can finally have her revenge and destroy everything she cherishes.
Even if eliminating the man she used to love for the second time.
--------------------
People were having the time of their life as the festival of their empire, thanking their ancestors, will be held today; that’s why everyone was having a blast.
Some people were busy preparing for the festival, as it was their tradition.
Unbeknownst to them, there was a big surprise that was going to happen.
Helen was trying to fix her dress as she was going with the emperor and her son to meet people.
She knew that her son was still mad at what she did, but she knew it would pass.
Knowing her son? He won’t hold grudges for too long; he loved her too much to avoid her for life.
And since the day she did that to the Solaris, nothing came, and she was more convinced that the lady was the curse in this empire.
That woman might have used some spell on her son to make him go against her.
Ever since Helion spent too much time with that woman, it feels like her own son was rebelling against her for that woman.
"Your Majesty, the emperor was already waiting for you." She looked at the head maid, who had been serving her since she was still not the empress of this empire.
Helen looked at herself in the mirror again before facing Cecil. "Is Helion also waiting?" She asked as she walked towards her.
"His Highness was already there." Cecil said, which made Helen frown.
Is he really serious about giving her such a cold shoulder?
Her son just declared some cold war against her.
Even her husband didn’t talk to her too much.
Helen just shrugged off all the negativity that was running through her head.
When she arrived, she saw that Dion was already waiting for her.
"What took you so long?" Helion asked his wife, as he had been waiting for a long time, and she just arrived now.
They should have left the place one hour ago, and Helion didn’t also come together with them.
He knew his son also knew what happened between them and the duke.
Dion still was disappointed at his wife, or he would rather say...
He was a little mad at her.
Helen was stubborn and seems like she became close-minded ever since she had bonded with the Abellarde.
Now, Dion also was wondering if the baron was still looking for his wife...
Helion already informed him about the thing that happened to the Solaris duchy.
And worse, one of his closest friends was already dead and the one that had been with them was a fake.
Dion looked back again at the palace as the carriage was moving; he didn’t know, but he was really feeling anxious.
It’s like something was going to happen today.
He has never been at ease ever since Helion told him about Abanoon.
Abanoon was the goddess who almost killed all of the people back then, not Goddess Solaia.
Everyone in their world didn’t even exist till now.
They arrived at the old shrine of the ancient dragon...
The dragon gives the royal family a power, being its descendants.
He didn’t even call it power, not until his son gave him one of the bracelets that the lady had retrieved for him.
Dion still didn’t know how much the lady had grown his power this fast ever since he heard from everyone that she was the one who cured the disease that was spreading all over the empire.
Not until the scene in the lake.
Dion had never seen a powerful person until her.
"What’s wrong?" He was back to reality when Helen spoke beside him.
"Nothing." He just shrugged his shoulder to his wife.
He was still mad at her.
Dion was mad not only because he lost his friend, but he seems to be losing his own son.
He knew what his son felt towards the lady, and his wife just insulted the lady and worse.
He had learned from Gineo that the news of the lady being the one who brought a curse on their kingdom spread. That the people went to their duchy to make the lady admit that she did it.
But Dion was relieved when he learned that the whole duchy was guarded by a barrier.
A barrier that was very strong that even Gineo tried going in there , he couldn’t break it.
"Are you even listening to me?!’ He was even startled when his wife raised her voice, which got his attention.
"What was it again?" He asked as he looked at his wife, who looked furious at him.
"I said, what was going on with our son? Until when won’t he talk to me? What was happening to you? I’ve been saying things here and you’re not even listening." The empress said, as she looked at him—or he should say, she was glaring at him.
"I don’t know. I tried warning you about not pushing your son to his limit, but you didn’t even heed my warnings." Dion said as the carriage stopped.
He could see that there were many people who were waiting for their arrival.
His wife didn’t say anything as he guided her down the carriage.
"Greetings to the sun and moon of our empire." Everyone said as they bowed their head to greet him and Helen.
Dion roamed his eyes to find his son, whom he found near the altar where they were going to give some offerings for their ancestors to bless more their kingdom.
They did the ritual just as usual when suddenly the wind started going strong.
"Seems like there’s going to be a storm tonight." Helion, who was beside his father, looked at him when he said those words.
He looked at the sky, and it was dark again, just like the last time.
He sighed at his own thoughts.
He still hadn’t seen anyone from the Klartis since last week.
He had been trying his best to see anything just so he could talk to the duke or to Acantha herself.
Helion looked at his mother, who was holding her dress as the wind was really strong.
The people screamed when suddenly the ground started shaking.
"What was happening here, Dion?" The empress was now terrified as she could feel the ground was shaking and worse, the wind kept on getting stronger and stronger that some people were getting hard on trying to hold themselves.
"I don’t know." Dion said as he held his wife on her arms to avoid her from falling.
Everyone was screaming in fear when the ground creaked and seemed to open its mouth.
Helen’s eyes widen when she sees some people being swallowed by the ground.
She was horrified!
How could this happen on such a special day?
Helion walked as he was going to try to save people.
Helen was terrified when she saw her son walking where the hole is.
"What are you doing?" she heard her husband say when she was about to go to her son.
She heard a screamed and when she looked at where it came her eyes widen-
