Helion with Jarnus and Ernie disappeared as soon as they jumped off from his balcony.

He was even caught by surprise when they were blocked from entering the palace.

"What was this?" Helion asked as they can’t go inside the duchy.

Ernie and Jarnus looked at each other and were a little nervous to tell what happened.

Jarnus sighed as he looked Helion straight in the eyes.

"When you fell unconscious that day," Jarnus started, unsure how Helion would react.

"The empress lashed out at Lady Acantha while she was out of the room," Jarnus continued and Helin clenched his fist.

"The duke even decided to go out to calm himself, as if he was trying to understand that maybe, maybe the Empress was just saying those as she just got out from lying and having nightmares, and that maybe that was one of her dreams." Jarnus said as he took a deep breath.

"But the empress didn’t stop there." This time it was Ernie who spoke. "The empress accused Lady Acantha of being the one who brought the curse into the empire, as she just had a tremendous power out of nowhere." Ernie continued, which made Helion’s blood boil more.

Abanoon gritted her teeth as she was looking at the mirror inside her room; Paul insisted that she should continue on posing as the loving daughter of BaronAbellarde.

"Noraya, what is taking you so long?" Abanoon gritted her teeth in anger when she heard the Baron’s voice calling her.

"I’m coming." She shouted back as she rolled her eyes before she walked to the door, and saw the baron who was waiting for her.

"Where are we going?" Abanoon asked, trying to sound sweet, which almost made her choke to death.

"We’re going to visit the empress," the baron said as he looked at her from head to toe. like he was examining her, whether there are some flaws with her dress.

"I never saw you wearing this kind of dress before." The baron said as he looked at her.

Abanoon almost rolled her eyes at him; she just wanted to kill this man, but she still needs him with her plan.

"I just wanted some change, you know for the crown prince to notice me." Abanoon said as she smiled at the baron, who also smirked at her.

Abanoon knew that this baron wanted his daughter to get married to the crown prince of this empire based on what Paul said. The crown prince seems not to care about the latter, as he was busy doing his things.

They were now in the carriage and Abanoon was feeling bored and sleepy.

When she woke up, they had already arrived at the castle.

"Your highness," the attendants greeted him as they looked pale when they saw his aura.

"Where’s Mother?" Helion asked and the attendants only bowed their heads.

"I am here, Helion." He heard a voice inside, which made him walk there.

And when he entered the room, there he saw his mother, who was having tea, like she didn’t do something.

"Why did you do it, mother?" Helion asked his mother calmly as he looked at her while she was still sipping from her cup.

"Did what?" his mother said as she acted like she didn’t know what he meant.

"You know what I’m talking about." Helion said as he glared at his mother, who put her cup down and looked at him.

"Is this what the lady taught you? to rebel against your parents?" His mother said as she raised her brows against him.

"You’re twisting my words. Lady Acantha didn’t teach me anything. It was you who always pushed me to my limits." Helion said as he looked at his mother again, who looked at him.

"See? How can I believe she didn’t?" The empress said as she put her napkin to wipe her mouth.

"I am asking you, why did you accuse her of bringing a curse to our empire?" Helion said as he was losing patience with his own mother.

"I said what I said." His mother just shrugged at what she said, like she didn’t say some hurtful words against Acantha.

"Lady Acantha didn’t just have some power out of nowhere," Helion said at his mother as he gritted his teeth in anger.

"I was with her the whole time when she got stronger, and I know how much she had when she was just trying to save the people, but then you still paint her as the bad one," Helion said as he looked at his mother.
