Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 107: He Was Mad...
Chapter 107: He Was Mad...
"What do you mean?" He asked and he saw everyone looking on the floor.
Helion looked at Ernie and he just looked away from him.
Helion just looked at them as he wasn’t feeling good about what they did.
"What do you mean, Mother?" Helion asked his mother as his jaw clenched as he was getting pissed when still no one was answering him
He turned to his father, who looked like he was hiding something from him.
"Father?" Helion asked as his mother and the others didn’t answer his question.
"Just rest for awhile." his father said as he looked away from him.
"But-"
"That’s an order." He said it when he was about to say something.
Helion gritted his teeth; his father knew how to use his position well.
"Believe me, I was just doing this for your own sake." His father said as he sighed at him.
He just looked at his father while glaring at everyone who was in the room.
"I will know.... Wish you won’t regret it if I find what happened... You know me, Father." Helion said as he turned to his mother.
"I knew you were behind this, Mother. You know how much I loved you, but sometimes you were crossing the line. I let you hold me on my neck... but forgive me if I leave for good if I find out you did something at Lady Acantha." Helion said as he stared at his mother, and he saw that there was fear in her eyes when he said those.
He looked at them as he went back to his bed.
"Now, if you still wanted to command anything, just say it; if you have nothing to say, then leave me alone." Helion said as he turned his back on everyone.
As much as he wanted to lash out at them, he was still trying to calm himself down.
He wanted to sleep, but his mind was somewhere else; he really had a bad feeling about what was happening now.
Helion tossed his pillow and was trying to get his sleep; it was still afternoon, though... but his body feels very tired.
He woke up that night as he was feeling hungry, and there he saw that his dinner was already served on his table inside his room.
Helion looked at the food and walked where it was, and he ate it when he reached it.
He needed to eat it as he needed to regain his energy as he would go to the Solaris in the morning.
---------------------
Acantha woke up feeling tired again that morning; she had slept for very long, and her body was feeling numb.
"Good morning, my lady." Mildred said as she remembered that she just sulked the whole day inside her room yesterday.
No one in the duchy had ever mentioned what happened in the morning, and she knew her father instructed them for her to avoid hearing such negative things.
She decided that she would be going out in their garden as she wanted to breathe some fresh air.
"Where’s Father, Mildred?" She asks when they were on their way to the dining hall.
"His Grace and Flamear were already there waiting for you," Mildred said as she smiled at her lightly.
Acantha saw her father, who was now looking at her, as she was walking to where they were.
"Father." Acantha greeted her father as she gave him some courtesy.
"Sit and eat, Aki." Her father said as he stood up and pulled a chair for her.
Acantha sat on her father’s right while Flamear was beside her.
They all eat quietly, not mentioning anything.
"I will be living in the south for awhile, I’ll be back in the afternoon." The duke said as soon as he finished eating his food, and he gave her a peck on her forehead before he disappeared.
"Are you alright?" he asked her as he looked worriedly at her.
"I am fine now, Flamear." Acantha said as she used the napkin to wipe her mouth.
"I’m glad that you are, okay." He said as he looked at her. "If you just say something for me to do to the empress, I’m going to gladly be doing it." He continued as he looked at her warmly.
"You don’t deserve this, do you know? You sacrificed your first life for this mortal to become rude and arrogant, and now you were doing the same, and yet they took it wrongly and made their own story." Flamear continued and this time he doesn’t look any warmer; she can feel his rage with his voice.
Acantha just sighed as she looked at Flamear; she was still worried about what was about to happen, but if people won’t accept her and keep on saying she was the one who brought a curse on their empire, then she guessed they could stand on their own.
They even planned to burn her after what she did for them.
"Let’s go," Acantha said as she took Flamear in her arms.
"Where are we going?" He asked as he looked at her.
"We’re going to take some strolls in the garden." Acantha said as she looked back at Flamear.
Flamear just nodded at her as they kept on walking to the garden.
There is also another reason why Acantha wanted to go to the garden.
When they were in the garden, Acantha saw that her mother’s flowers were blooming.
"There weren’t many flowers here the last time we went here." Acantha said as she smelled the flowers.
She must be in the house, but it’s been awhile since she visited the garden herself.
She didn’t know but whenever she was in this garden, she felt peace.
Like the place was comforting her.
"The duke didn’t forget to tell someone to take care of this place, my lady." Mildred, who appeared out of nowhere, said, which made Flamear and Acantha turn to her.
"The duke really loved this place, as it was a memory from her grace." Mildred seems to be reminiscing about something.
"You know my lady? No matter how people will try to paint you as the bad one, I and the people who live here in the Solaris, and even the people who live in Klartis." Mildred said as she looked at her.
Acantha didn’t know but she felt warm in her heart.
At least these people still needs her and she will do everything to protect them from Abanoon.
These people still believe in her.
These people who were treated badly by the old Acantha gave her a chance and saw the good in her.
They gave her a chance to change... and now they believed in her.
This time Acantha burst into tears as she was still trying to keep all the pain in her chest.
She felt betrayed by those people whom she helped.
And mostly she felt rejected by everyone who already judged her.
----------------
Helion was ready to go that morning when he heard someone knock on his door.
And when he opened it, he saw the Empress’s personal knight, who was eyeing him.
"Greetings, Your Highness." Rimar said as he bowed his head to give some courtesy to him.
"What was it, Rimar?" Helion asked as he frowned at him, as he was really hurrying to go to the duchy.
"The empress had told us not to let you out from this room," Rimar said, which made Helion glare at him.
"And why did she do that?" He asked as he was really getting pissed at everyone.
"She didn’t say anything, but we were here to stop you from coming out." Rimar said as he looked at him.
"And you think you could stop me?" Helion said as he challenged Rimar, who was bowing his head.
"I know you were strong, Your Highness. But it doesn’t also mean we were weak." Rimar said and Helion saw from the outside that there were many knights.
He knew that Rimar was strong, but he was stronger than anyone here, but he couldn’t just hurt these people who he fought with.
Helion tried using his power to teleport himself, but he just bounced back on his bed.
"The empress called the wizard from the tower and had him cast some spell in here for antimagic in case you’ll flew using your power." Rimar said coldly.
"Step aside." Helion said as he warned Rimar and others when they entered his room and circled him.
"You left me no choice." Helion said as he punched Rimar, who just stepped back, and he turned to the other and gave them some kicks.
His mother knights just groaned in pain when he sent them flying using his own strength.
"Your Highness!" Helion was so distracted by the voice that he didn’t see Rimar’s punch coming.
Rimar’s fist landed on his face, which he didn’t even flinch at.
He must admit Rimar was strong as a knight.
Helion saw Jarnus and Ernie running his way, and then they both helped him fight the other knights, as they knew that not only was his power suppressed but also his strength. He should have known when he bounced back on his bed.
He sent a continuous punch against Rimar using his speed. If there’s one thing he was weak in, it was speed, and Helion knew his people too well and their weakness.
It’s just his mother made sure that the moment he tries to use his power, he will lose most of his energy.
He looked at Rimarand Helion and saw that he was sweating; he sent him some strong kicks, which the latter seemed not to notice as he was busy blocking his punches, which made him lose his consciousness.
"Now, you both have to say something, but first let’s get out from here." Helion said as he looked at the two, who gulped and paled at what he said.
He took a glance at his room as they jumped from his window.
