Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 102: The Nightmares....
Chapter 102: The Nightmares....
That night when everyone was sleeping...
Abanoon cast another curse upon the whole empire; there will be no day for these mortals.
She won’t let them have any peace as to what Solaia did to her.
And speaking of her?
It seems like she was already back too...
She looks at the sky as the bright moon was lighting everything.
Oh, how she hates lights.
It only reminds her of how she was nothing compared to Solaia.
Solaia, who was everyone’s light and joy...
While her?
She was avoided for being a distraction.
That’s why she let them taste what destruction is...
Abanoon looked at the sky again, and-
"Now, you’re all going to know how it feels to live in the dark." She said while she looked at the sky that was filled with darkness, the moon couldn’t be seen anymore.
"Everything is already done, Master." Paul said to her as he was informing her about their other plan.
"Good," Abanoon said as she smirked.
---------------
Acantha didn’t know why she woke up that night when she should have been resting.
Just like what she said awhile ago.
Her body seems to be on alert in case Abanoon does something again.
She sat on her bed, when suddenly she heard a familiar sound...
"This is the sound of death," she whispered to her ears.
She knew it as the later baroness also used this one to calm her own daughter, who was eating some people.
And the sound was followed by a loud growl that wakes everyone in their empire.
Acantha looked at Flamear, who looked outside.
"Look!" Flamear said as he pointed out the sky.
The sky was very dark, but it also had a reddish color, the same color as the blood.
The moon was nowhere to be seen.
"This is bad." Flamear, said in a low voice, and Acantha could hear some footsteps in the hallway.
Not long after, someone knocks on her room.
"Aki?" She looked up at the door when she heard her father’s voice.
Acantha walked to the door and opened it.
"Father?" she asked and she looked at her father, who looked like he was also confused about what was happening.
"Did you hear that sound awhile ago?" The duke asked as he looked at her worriedly.
"Yes..." Acantha said as she looked outside through the balcony.
She knew that people who lived in the Klartis and Solaris were safe as before she slept when they got home; she also put her own barrier around the two palaces.
But, what about those people who live outside?
They were not safe from Abanoon.
"It looks like some beast is howling." Her father continued as he looked at her.
"Yeah, maybe there’s just someone who was hunting some beast." They both looked at the voice who just suddenly popped out of somewhere.
"What are you doing here?" Acantha said as she looked at Helion, who was wearing his nightrobe.
"I’m staying here." He said this as he looked at the duke, who was frowning at him.
"I let you stay here for as long as you want, but I didn’t give you permission to go to my daughter’s room." The duke said there is a warning in his voice for Helion.
Helion only coughed at what the duke said.
"But, don’t you think it was supposed to be morning now, duke?" Helion asked, which made Acantha and the duke stop moving.
"What do you mean? It’s still night, right?" Acantha said as she frowned at what Helion said.
"That’s right." The duke said as he was agreeing to her.
Acantha almost forgot that she should feel awkward towards him after she told him that she was not supposed to be his daughter and that she was just inside her body.
But it seems like everyone didn’t mind what she said.
"I can’t be wrong." Helion said as he looked at her.
Acantha also did the same, and even raised her brows like she was asking if he was serious or not.
"There’s really wrong with it." Helion said as he looked at them.
Acantha and her father looked at each other as they both started to get worried about what was happening.
They went outside on her balcony and there they saw a dark fog was covering the sky.
It seems like it was hiding everyone from any lights.
"My Lady." They all looked around when Mildred suddenly knocked on the door.
"What was it, Mildred?" Acantha asked and the door suddenly opened and Mildred entered the room.
Acantha saw Mildred’s eyes widen when she saw the two men who were still on her balcony.
"Your Highness, Your Grace." Mildred said as she gives some courtesy to the two men who just nodded at her.
"What was it?" Acantha asked her again, and by the looks of her, it seems like it wasn’t good news.
"His Majesty, the Emperor, went home already with Healer Hernand and they looked like they were rushing." Mildred informed them.
Acantha didn’t even know that the other two men stayed here.
"Did he say why?" Helion asked, as he looked confused why his father fled with Hernand.
"There were some maids who came from the palace along with some knights; they said it’s the Empress." Mildred said as she looked worried while she was looking at Helion.
"Did you hear what they said about the Empress?" Helion asked Mildred as he walked towards her with worry in his eyes.
"They said that the empress was having nightmares that the maids were trying to wake her up, but she wasn’t waking up." Mildred sai as she looked down while she said those.
Acantha can see that Helion’s jaw clenches.
She knew how much he loves his mother.
"Duke, if you may?" Helion asked as he was asking permission from her father.
"You can go." The duke said as he looked at Helion.
Acantha saw how worried Helion was sweating, this is the first time that he saw him worried like this.
"We’ll come with you" Acantha said as she took Flamear who was just listening to them the whole time.
--------------
The Palace was in chaos as they were getting worried as it was discovered that it wasn’t only the empress who was in her own nightmare but also those people who was sleeping.
The whole empire was in chaos not only the palace.
Everyone has fallen to a deep slumber with their nightmares.
"What happened to her?" Helion asked as soon as they arrived at the Empress’s palace.
The Empress was sleeping, but she was moaning like she was in a nightmare.
Acantha looked at when she notice that there was some dark cloud above the empress head.
It seems like it was another cursed from Abanoon.
She tried using her power on it , but it seems like it has something that was blocking her from doing it.
"Why can’t I use my healing power on her?" Acantha asked Flamear when they went to the corner and she was really getting panicked as she wanted to help the Empress not for her, but for Helion who was always there for her whenever she was in trouble.
"It seems like Abanoon has used that again." Flamear said as he also looked worried at what was happening right now.
"What was it?" Acantha said as she looked at Flamear, who was now looking at her.
"Abanoon was giving those people their own nightmare the moment they close their eyes." Flamear said as he looked at her.
"We also fell asleep, but why didn’t we -" Acantha didn’t finished her words when Flamear shook his head at her.
"No, it’s because the barrier we made was against Abanoon’s power. That’s why the people were more safer in Klartis and Solaris." Flamear said as he explained to her.
"But how can we solved it?" Acantha asked as she looks at Flamear.
"We must find Elida." Flamear said as he looked at her. "She must know how to undo it as this was one of their specialty." Flamear said and then they bothe disappered,
-------------
Abanoon was drinking from her cup as she was smiling at her servants.
This time she could swear she is going to win what battle she will have againts the reincarnation of Solaia.
As far as she knew that girl seemed not to know her ability yet.
She would kill her this time and would take over her body. As she knew that body contained a very powerful power.
The people must be enjoying their dreams right now.
They were feasting as they were celebrating their win this time.
Abanoon knew that there was only one thing that would be a hindrance to her.
That damned beast who was always and has been a hindrance.
She grimaced at what she thought; she needed to kill that damned beast before he could ruin everything.
Abanoon looked at her servants again and raises her cup as a sign that they were going to toast for their victory this time.
