Chapter 96: Chapter 96 First Kiss

"You’re actually Hidden Dragon!"

Xu Qiang had heard of Hidden Dragon. This guy held an infamous reputation in the world, rumored to be a disciple of a reclusive master and the top fighter in Huacheng.

With a single kick, Li Feng knocked Xu Qiang over: "Scram."

"Brother Qiang."

Two of Xu Qiang’s underlings stepped forward to help him up while he watched Li Feng approach the hanging Wang Jin’er, the corners of his mouth curling into a sinister smile.

Even if you are Hidden Dragon, daring to humiliate me like this, Xu Qiang gave a side glance and signaled one of his men with his eyes.

"Take him down."

Xu Qiang spoke softly.

At his side, one of Xu Qiang’s men nodded, reached to his waist, and pulled out a palm-length Flying Knife. This man was Xu Qiang’s right-hand man, an expert with the small blade, and the strongest fighter at Xu Qiang’s disposal.

"Ooh."

Wang Jin’er saw it and stared wide-eyed at Li Feng, wanting to alert him with her whimpers.

The Flying Knife shot out from the wrist with a flick, like a cold star twinkling and a willow leaf silently slicing through the air, covering several meters in an instant. At the critical moment, Li Feng suddenly turned around.

He reached out, plucked the Flying Knife from the air, and with a flick of his wrist, sent it hurtling back.

Thwack.

The Flying Knife pierced directly into Xu Qiang’s mouth.

Xu Qiang stood there dumbfounded, still somewhat in disbelief.

"Brother Qiang."

Li Feng narrowed his eyes as he looked toward another of Xu Qiang’s men, whose forehead began dripping with sweat. His hands quickly brushed over his waist, hiding two Flying Knives in his palms, taking aim at Li Feng as his wrists shook.

Two Flying Knives launched. The young man didn’t stop, rapidly pulling out another pair of Flying Knives.

Li Feng twitched the corner of his mouth into a faint smile and waved his hand, performing Qiankun’s throw. A Chrysanthemum Coin flew out like a Heavenly Maiden Scattering Flowers.

Clang, clang, clang.

The sounds of metal on metal echoed midair as the coins scattered, but the Flying Knives skimmed past Li Feng, not grazing even a hair on him.

The young man stood there dumbfounded. Damn it, was this guy even human?

"Got any more Flying Knives?"

Li Feng looked across at the young man, who responded to the provocative tone by shaking his clothes—a sign that he had plenty more Flying Knives.

"I refuse to believe you can block every one."

Li Feng flicked his thumb, sending a Chrysanthemum Coin whizzing up with a hum, and casually swatted it like shooing a fly.

Swish.

The coin became a streak of cold light that hit the young man’s nose. The force of the coin instantly shattered his nose, sending blood spurting straight from his face.

"I don’t have enough coins for an exchange like this."

Li Feng scanned another of Xu Qiang’s men, who completely lost his nerve. With Brother Qiang down and even Small Knife splattered with blood, this man knew he didn’t stand a chance, so he turned to run. Hidden Dragon was too terrifying.

Was this guy really human?

Unfazed by a gun to his head, catching a stealth Flying Knife attack with his bare hands, was this even possible?

It was known in the underworld that Small Knife’s Flying Knife within ten meters could outdo even a bullet.

Never missing the mark, a hit meant certain death.

Li Feng glanced at the fleeing youth, approached a fallen Flying Knife, flicked it with the tip of his toe, and sent it whistling into the youth’s back.

Thump.

Only then did Li Feng walk up to Wang Jin’er. She blinked twice and hummed, gesturing for Li Feng to remove the rag from her mouth.

Li Feng, however, didn’t move but just looked at Wang Jin’er, clicking his tongue in amusement.

Wang Jin’er felt a mix of embarrassment and anger; after all, being scrutinized by a man like this would unsettle anyone.

"Are you touched?"

Wang Jin’er stared coldly at Li Feng, tears brimming in her almond-shaped eyes. Li Feng felt an unexpected tremor in his heart from her glare and removed the cloth from her mouth.

"You’re shameless!"

Li Feng rolled his eyes. "How am I shameless? Just because I looked at you, I’m shameless?"

Wang Jin’er’s face turned crimson, and she spat out, "You are shameless. You’re more than shameless—you’re a bastard. Now let me down!"

Li Feng quirked his lips. "Now Wang, my beauty, isn’t this like repaying kindness with hostility? I’ve rescued you, and you don’t even say thank you. Instead, you’re scolding me."

"Does that make any sense?"

Li Feng continued, drawing closer as Wang Jin’er watched him approach in agitation. "What do you want then?"

"Thank me, that wouldn’t be too much, would it?"

Wang Jin’er bit her lip, resolved not to lose face. "Fine, I thank you. Now let me down."

"Your thanks seem insincere, almost nonchalant."

Wang Jin’er took a deep breath, facing the increasingly presumptuous Li Feng. "I thank you, I really do thank you... (the whole family)."

"Now can you let me down?"

"Is a verbal thanks all I get?" Li Feng continued to tease his potential arranged match.

"Li Feng, don’t you cross the line."

Now angry and embarrassed, Wang Jin’er scowled fiercely at Li Feng, who chuckled at her impending explosion: "Alright, I’ll accept your thanks then."

Before Wang Jin’er could react, Li Feng leaned down and kissed her on the lips.

Wang Jin’er’s eyes widened, her face a picture of disbelief.

This was her first kiss.
