Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God -
Chapter 95
Chapter 95: Chapter 95
"Wu wu."
Wang Jin’er watched the scene unfold and couldn’t help but make a sound, but with her mouth stuffed, she could only produce a whimper.
A critical moment.
Li Feng sidestepped, avoiding the falling steel pipe, and quickly delivered a flying kick. His foot squarely struck the chest of his assailant, immediately followed by the sound of cracking ribs. The attacker, like a kite with its string cut, was sent flying five or six meters away.
He spat out a mouthful of blood.
The other thugs exchanged glances, wondering if this man was cheating. Did he have X-ray vision?
"Brother San, this is getting a bit tricky."
They had thought it would be an easy job, only to encounter such a hiccup. A kid with his hands tied was unexpectedly agile.
"My eyes aren’t blind."
Bai San eyed Li Feng in front of him with a bit of surprise. The opponent couldn’t possibly have X-ray vision; that was something out of a novel. However, the fact that he had taken down two of his men in succession couldn’t be mere chance.
"Let’s go together," Bai San ordered in irritation. The thugs glanced at each other, nodded, and, armed with steel pipes and knives, charged.
Li Feng’s body swayed as if he had "Heavenly Eye," dodging the attacks. His arms were unusable, but he still had his head and legs; any part of his body could be a deadly weapon.
Wang Jin’er blinked, her heart returning to her stomach. Her anxiety and worry had been superfluous; Li Feng handled himself with ease, sending those who rushed at him flying back in no time.
Bai San was likewise taken aback. His five or six men were top fighters from the underworld, each with blood on their hands. To call them desperados was no overstatement.
Ordinary people facing them would have buckled at the knees, let alone put up a fight.
"You’re going to die."
The brawny man’s eyes flashed with a fierce glint as he leaped toward Li Feng and swung his knife. Li Feng detected a gust behind his head, ducked and tumbled forward.
Li Feng rolled like a gymnast, and the rope binding his arms was slashed by the knife. He flipped over, moving his hands.
"Thanks."
The brawny man was taken aback. As he swung his knife again, Li Feng smirked, moved in close, grabbed the wrist, and seized the knife, disarming the attacker. He twisted around and, with a swift backhand, struck.
Thwack!
The knife’s back slapped the face, sending teeth and blood spattering out.
With his hands free and a knife in hand, Li Feng faced the remaining three or four men who had no chance at all.
"Damn it, move and I’ll kill her," Bai San, feeling a chill, went straight for Wang Jin’er, who was hanging, intending to use her to threaten Li Feng.
Li Feng shot Bai San a glance, with hardly a moment’s hesitation, he threw the knife. It grazed Wang Jin’er’s cheek and embedded itself directly in Bai San’s throat.
Gurgle.
Hot blood sprayed on Wang Jin’er’s neck and cheek. Li Feng didn’t stop moving, quickly dispatching the last two men with three punches and two kicks.
"Clap clap."
Xu Qiang, watching his crew all down, began clapping for Li Feng: "Nice moves."
Xu Qiang stood up from the sofa and looked at Li Feng, "I like you. You’re ruthless, you’re cold, but you’ve messed with the wrong guy."
"So, today, you must die!"
Li Feng looked up at Xu Qiang, "Oh, is that so?"
With a cold smile, Xu Qiang pulled a handgun from behind his waist.
Wang Jin’er watched in horror as Xu Qiang drew his gun, swallowing hard, her gaze drifting involuntarily toward Li Feng.
Xu Qiang aimed the gun at Li Feng, "I don’t mind wasting a bullet to send you to reincarnation."
"Heh," Li Feng chuckled derisively and, with a tap of his foot, lunged directly at Xu Qiang.
"Fuck," Xu Qiang cursed in disbelief. Did Li Feng actually dare to charge him as if his gun were a toy?
"Bang!"
A crisp gunshot echoed through the dilapidated repair shop.
Li Feng’s figure flickered like a ghost, narrowly avoiding the bullet that grazed his cheek with a burning sting. He charged like a cheetah, leaving Xu Qiang dumbfounded. Before he could pull the trigger again, Li Feng’s hand had already grabbed the gun’s slide.
Xu Qiang tried to pull the trigger again, but his finger could no longer move. Li Feng looked at Xu Qiang with a cold smirk and, with a swift kick, disarmed him of his gun.
Xu Qiang staggered back a couple of steps.
Li Feng glanced at the handgun in his hand, "Handgun," he commented as he skillfully dismantled the weapon into parts, scattering them from his hands.
"Counterfeit, hand-crafted."
Xu Qiang, observing Li Feng’s skillful gun dismantling, had an uncertain expression on his face. The expertise with firearms was not something a common thug would have.
"Who on earth are you?"
Xu Qiang asked, staring at Li Feng intently.
Li Feng approached Xu Qiang, "Didn’t your employer tell you?" Xu Qiang, unable to withstand the pressure of Li Feng’s approach, recklessly lashed out, only to be met by a kick from Li Feng to the shinbone.
Thud.
Xu Qiang dropped to one knee.
"My name is Li Feng."
"I’m flattered to be recognized as ’Hidden Dragon.’"
Xu Qiang looked up, a flash of shock in his eyes, "You’re Hidden Dragon...!"
Xu Qiang couldn’t believe his luck; Wang Jue had only told him the man’s name was Li Feng and shared some details about him. But he never mentioned that Li Feng was the Hidden Dragon—if he had, Xu Qiang wouldn’t have been so presumptuous.
