Chapter 354: Chapter 354 Hell Arena
Li Feng looked up at the chubby man pointing his finger at his nose, a voice he found very familiar.
Seeing Li Feng staring at him, Tang Bin snorted coldly, "What are you looking at? You tripped me and dirtied my clothes, and you dare to glare at me?"
Without another word, Tang Bin grabbed a cup of soy milk from nearby and splashed it at Li Feng’s face.
But things happened in the blink of an eye.
Li Feng, seeing Tang Bin’s intention, swiftly raised his hand and caught the bottom of the cup, releasing Dark Strength. Instead of hitting Li Feng, the soy milk splashed back onto Tang Bin’s face, and the worst part was that it was scalding hot.
Ah!
Tang Bin let out a scream, "You dare to splash me?"
But before he could finish, Li Feng quickly hooked his foot around Tang Bin’s ankle from under the table. Tang Bin, already crying out from the scalding, didn’t expect Li Feng to trip him, and he fell to the ground, sprawling face-up.
Li Feng stood up, pushing his chair back, and stepped on Tang Bin’s chest, "What did you say? Say it again, I dare you."
"Get your damn foot off me, or I’ll kill you," Tang Bin cursed unabated, not taking Li Feng’s threat to heart.
Li Feng snorted coldly, shook open a hand towel, and draped it over Tang Bin’s face. He then grabbed a decorative glass vase from the table, removed the fresh flowers, and poured the water inside over the towel.
Once wet, the hand towel immediately silenced Tang Bin’s cursing.
"Hisss."
Iron Hand, watching from a distance, couldn’t help but gasp. This guy was ruthless—the technique looked simple, but it was actually a form of ancient water torture.
In ancient times, they would use yellow paper on the victim’s face and then pour water over it, causing a sensation of drowning—a feeling most people wouldn’t want to experience.
"Stop!"
At that moment, two security guards from the hotel rushed to the scene. One went straight for Li Feng to push him back, while the other lifted the towel from Tang Bin’s face. Tang Bin gasped for air, looking like he had barely survived a catastrophe.
After being helped up, Tang Bin turned to Li Feng, "He tried to kill me. What the hell is going on with your resort? I want to complain."
"What happened?"
The hotel manager quickly arrived at the scene and asked directly.
"What happened? This asshole tripped me, I asked for an apology, and instead he pushed me down and covered my face with a towel and poured water on me."
"I am a VIP guest at your hotel. Is this how you treat your VIPs?"
Tang Bin was making a scene.
"Please, calm down," the hotel manager soothed him before turning to Li Feng, "Are you a VIP guest at our hotel?"
"Hmph, he’s certainly no VIP. He’s just an outsider, a poor man who sponges off others."
"Really think just because you’re someone’s lackey, you can show your teeth and claws? I’ll tell you a dog will always be a dog; you’ll never be the master in this life."
Tang Bin was mercilessly mocking Li Feng.
Hearing this, the hotel manager furrowed his brows, "Can you show me your wristband, please?"
Seeing that Li Feng couldn’t produce the wristband, the manager seemed to understand. It didn’t matter who provoked whom. On Paradise Island, the VIPs come first.
"Take him away."
"Just like that, he wounded me," Tang Bin complained incessantly.
"Don’t worry, we will definitely make him face punishment."
Tang Bin scoffed coldly, "I need to see him get punished. I’ve heard that there’s a Duel Arena here; I think he needs a bloody lesson to understand what he really is."
"As you wish."
The hotel manager hardly hesitated, nodding immediately, "Take him away."
Li Feng furrowed his brow; he wasn’t a fool, it was clear this was a trap set by the other party, but Li Feng didn’t act out publicly—the time wasn’t right.
As Li Feng was being taken away from the restaurant, he ran into Bai Haoyu, who had just walked in from outside the restaurant.
"Oh, what a small world, we meet again. What’s this?"
Bai Haoyu looked at Li Feng, who was being held up by two men, with a feigned look of surprise.
Li Feng squinted at Bai Haoyu, "Why bother with such a pretense."
Hearing Li Feng’s response, Bai Haoyu sneered, "At least you’re not utterly foolish. I told you already, dare to touch my sister-in-law and I will kill you."
Bai Haoyu said coldly, glancing at the men holding Li Feng, "I think we should put a leash on him, to prevent him from running away."
"Don’t worry about that; even if he tried to run, he couldn’t escape this island."
Bai Haoyu hummed affirmatively, then broke into a broad smile, "Naturally, I have great faith in your island’s power."
Bai Haoyu then walked straight into the restaurant. Seeing Bai Haoyu, Tang Bin hurriedly scurried over, fawning, "Young Master Haoyu, I handled this pretty well, didn’t I?"
"Mm, not bad, I owe you one."
Hearing this, Tang Bin immediately felt as if all his grievances had dissipated. To have the other party owe him a favor was an immense benefit.
"Young Master Haoyu, you’re too kind. That leech of a dog dared to lay a hand on your sister-in-law, he truly had the nerve," Tang Bin said.
Bai Haoyu furrowed his brow, reaching out and pinching Tang Bin’s greasy chin—a clear indication that Tang Bin’s flattery was misplaced, "Hmm, keep your mouth in check. If you spout nonsense, I will kill you." Bai Haoyu didn’t bother with Tang Bin any longer and turned to leave.
Tang Bin thought to himself about how Young Master Haoyu seemed truly infatuated with his sister-in-law—this was explosive news.
But then again, considering Haoyu’s sister-in-law, a stunning beauty with an incredible figure, anyone would have taken a liking to her.
Paradise Island Resort had more to offer than just the Sha Wang banquet, with plentiful entertainment options available, including a distinct but not well-known casino.
Besides the usual gambling equipment, the resort’s most famous feature was Hell Arena.
Dueling, as the name implied, was a fight for victory, and the Duel Arena essentially functioned just like the boxing rings in Sea City.
However, in Sea City, those rings were illegal, hidden underground, whereas on Paradise Island, this lawless territory, the Duel Arena was a hellish battlefield exposed to the light.
The Duel Arena was an inverted pyramid excavated into the ground, located right in the central area of the auction’s several entrances. The pyramid’s bottom featured a twenty-by-twenty arena, its floor stained brown with dried blood.
The walls around the arena stood three stories high, and a row of metal spikes lined the perimeter, making it nearly impossible for anyone to climb.
Above the walls were four tiers of stepped seating, with enough room for thousands of spectators to watch the combat below. On either side of the high walls were two gates, with massive iron bars like the gaping maws of monsters.
Given Bai Haoyu’s status and position, he still enjoyed certain privileges on Paradise Island; the hotel manager didn’t even need to report to higher-ups before making a decision.
After all, one was a legitimate heir from a powerful Family, while the other was merely a lowly pretty boy; the choice was clear and needed no hesitation.
Besides, on Paradise Island, the wealthy were gods.
The details of the upcoming match at Hell Arena were sent directly to the wristbands of every VIP guest. Bai Haoyu, after reading the information, smiled coldly and picked up a napkin to wipe his mouth.
"You think you’re so high and mighty. I want to see how you beg for mercy later."
