Chapter 353: Chapter 353: Landing on the Island
"Is this guy Sun Wukong or what? Can he even fly now?"
Another day without results passed, and they even sent drones into the restricted area for several rounds, but they didn’t find a single bone fragment.
"I feel like he’s definitely hiding somewhere; we must have missed him."
"The problem is where he’s hiding. It’s lucky that Sha Wang went out for treatment, otherwise, you and I would be in big trouble."
One of the Four Great Vajra, Wu Bo, was also a bit irritable. He had thought that the other party wouldn’t last a night, but here they were still searching without a trace of him today. It was downright bizarre.
"Why not get a couple of dogs?"
"That could work; Sha Wang has a bunch of hunting dogs, and the guy in charge is from my hometown. We’re on good terms."
"Just make sure, don’t leak any news; this matter hasn’t been reported yet."
"I’m not stupid; you don’t need to remind me."
"Alright, that’s the plan. After returning to the camp, Lao Jiang, contact your fellow villager immediately and get those dogs here."
The group straggled back to the camp and immediately started shouting for dinner. After eating, like a flock of sheep, some gathered to play cards while others settled down to watch a little porn and get off.
"There are all these beauties at the resort close by, and here we are, just jerking off. It’s so depressing."
"You can join them if you save up enough money."
"Forget it; one night costs three months of my salary. It’s damn expensive."
As the sunset gradually gave way to darkness, the sea took on an ever more ominous tone. From high above, it would seem as if a giant sea beast was rising to the surface.
Moments later, a team burst from a hatch on top of this beast, clad in black maritime suits and carrying propellers, they jumped directly into the sea.
They passed through the First Line Sky crack on the northeast side of the island and appeared silently at the dock near the camp.
Whoosh, whoosh.
Two dark arrows shot from their crossbows, embedding with precise accuracy into the throats of two sentries, who fell silently.
Seconds later, an entire combat squadron appeared on the tidal flats near the dock. By this time, night had fallen, and lights in the camp lit up.
Following a series of combat hand signals, the five squads in the combat squadron fanned out, making no attempt to conceal themselves, and bravely burst into the camp.
"So this is a guard camp?"
The team leader scoffed; aside from two sentries, the camp was unguarded, like a beautiful woman in a bikini lying there and beckoning invitingly.
"Come on."
"Action!"
The squads dispersed again and stormed into the tents under a chilling command.
"I rolled a three with a wild."
"Want it or not?"
"Not taking it, I’m out."
Inside one of the tents, a heated card game was interrupted as a squad burst in, surprisingly unnoticed by anyone.
Suddenly, a gun was pointed at one’s head, who slapped it away in annoyance, "What’s the rush? I’m not done yet."
"Who the hell are you guys!"
A soldier sitting across noticed the intruders clad in black diving suits, their faces obscured by camouflage paint, and reached for his gun.
Before he could grab it, a bullet pierced his skull. The gun had a silencer, so the shot was virtually silent.
"Anyone else want to try death?"
Gulp.
The seven or eight soldiers inside the tent swallowed nervously, none daring to move. The entering squad didn’t need to kill anyone else; they simply knocked everyone out with their rifle butts.
"This must be the easiest mission I’ve ever had."
"Cut the chat, on to the next target."
The five squads proceded with no hesitation or delay. The camp, capable of housing five hundred, fell instantly without a single gunshot.
The Four Great Vajra, who were sitting and drinking casually, did not expect such an uninvited entrance.
"Who are you?"
Wu Bo tried to remain calm as he looked at the intruders; "Do you even know where this is?"
Xu Qiang, also one of the mercenaries who appeared with Li Feng on the cargo ship, pulled up a chair and sat down with his legs crossed, eyeing Wu Bo and the Four Great Vajra.
"Heh, of course we know."
"To put it plainly, our boss has taken a liking to this place. So, tough luck for you. You guys must be the bosses here. Cooperate with us; I’d hate to waste bullets. They’re damn expensive."
Wu Bo took a sharp breath, looking across, "This is the private territory of the Kang Family!"
"Heh, then we’ve come to the right place!"
"Heh, a famous name it is, but unfortunate for you, there’s nothing our Young Master wants that he can’t take." As for the Kang Family, what are they really?"
"Right now, I need some information. Separate these four for interrogation; I want to know everything about this island."
"Yes."
"Xu, the entire camp is under our control now, everyone has been subdued, and we haven’t got a scratch."
"A motley crew, send a message to the squids, apart from the guards, let others also come up for some air."
"Yes!"
Xu Qiang hadn’t expected the takeover of the guard camp to be so easy; it was surprisingly smooth. He thought there would be some resistance.
Had he known it would be this easy, he wouldn’t have bothered with so much effort.
Shortly after, the training camp on Paradise Island was completely transformed. The original security guards were tied up and thrown into two tents, while the entire camp was taken over.
"I’ve sent a message to the boss. We’ll wait for further orders. Everyone can rest easy tonight, but stay alert."
"Alright!"
"Go back to sleep for a bit more."
"Mm."
Dong Xin muttered in her sleep, eyes still closed, while Li Feng got up, showered in the bathroom, then headed to the hotel restaurant for breakfast.
While eating, suddenly, a man passing by dropped his tray onto the floor, spilling soup and water everywhere, spattering Li Feng’s pants.
"You actually tripped me, and now my clothes are all dirty."
