Chapter 236: Chapter 236: The Fastest Signing in History

"Let’s go and find out."

Li Feng stood up from the boss’s chair. Clover Group—this wasn’t arranged by Li Feng, and they specifically asked to see him.

In the Myth Communication office area, two groups of people met.

"I suppose this is Director Li of Myth."

Li Feng looked up at the middle-aged man with a square face, his suspicions growing: "I am indeed Li Feng. May I ask who you are?"

"This is our Deputy General Manager of Clover, Zhang Ye."

"Oh, so you are Manager Zhang. I’ve heard much about you." Li Feng stepped forward and firmly shook his hand, as if they had known each other for a long time. Jiang Linda rolled her eyes behind him—this man had such a thick skin.

"Manager Zhang’s visit truly brings light to Myth. Please, come in."

Li Feng was very warm, but internally he chuckled. He was completely unfamiliar with Sea City; who would know him, let alone come specifically to seek him out? When something is abnormal, there must be a catch.

In the small meeting room, the host and guest took their seats.

"Manager Zhang, your group sending you here must mean it’s not a trifling matter."

After some small talk, Li Feng got straight to the point. He wasn’t familiar with them; why beat around the bush, especially when the man across was a square-faced middle-aged man.

And it turned out his secretary was also a man.

Zhang Ye smiled lightly and looked at Li Feng: "I’m here to bring money. Myth Communication is also quite well-known in the industry, so our Clover Group plans to sign a one-year cooperation contract with your company. Your company will be fully responsible for our external public relations affairs."

"The preliminary figure is ten million."

Jiang Linda, listening at the side, gasped. The other party really was here to bring money—a contract just like that for ten million.

Clover was a well-known large company, and contracts from such companies were always highly sought after by public relations firms.

As for Myth Communication, it truly didn’t rank very high in the PR industry; it only managed to get by thanks to the Wang Group, and it couldn’t really be said to have great prospects.

During her two years at Myth Communication, besides the basic business, there had only been resources brought by her previous boss, Zhou Jie.

Before, a company like Clover wouldn’t even consider giving Myth Communication the time of day.

Let alone come up with a ten million cooperation contract right away.

When something is abnormal, there must be a catch.

"Manager Zhang is straightforward. Since we are both willing, let’s just sign it now," said Li Feng, without any hesitation.

Jiang Linda nearly choked on her own saliva at the side; what do you mean, just sign? Could you be any more unreliable?

Is this how you negotiate a partnership? This is way too frivolous.

"Ha ha, Director Li, your temperament really suits my taste. Let’s get straight to the point and sign the contract."

Zhang Ye immediately reached out, and his secretary took a contract out of the briefcase and handed it over.

"Director Li, you may let your legal team have a look."

Li Feng took the contract and skimmed through it quickly: "Yes, there are no issues with the contract."

Li Feng then took out a pen and signed the contract swiftly.

Zhang Ye, though maintaining a calm exterior, felt a thousand wild emotions racing through his heart. This guy was really reckless, signing just like that without any delay.

He had never seen anyone do business like this.

He had thought this signing would encounter some difficulties, at least not concluded in one go. He expected a few confrontations, but never imagined that from entering the door to signing, it wouldn’t even take three minutes, and he hadn’t had the chance to use any of his prepared speech.

"Mr. Zhang, is there a problem?"

Zhang Ye had been momentarily distracted, but he quickly grabbed the pen his secretary offered. What could his problem be? He was here for the sole purpose of signing this contract.

He immediately signed the contract.

"Director Li, from now on we are partners."

Zhang Ye stood up and extended his hand. Li Feng also stood and shook his hand: "That’s right, we are partners now."

"But, it’s prudent to be cautious first and respectful later. I wonder when these ten million will be transferred to our account."

Zhang Ye had indeed never encountered someone so direct before; they had just signed the contract and this man was already asking for money. Was he begging for it?

"Money is not an issue."

Zhang Ye was clear: "However, there is an issue that I need your help with now."

Li Feng squinted at Zhang Ye across from him. No one visits a temple without a cause, he knew there must be a catch.

"No problem. Now that we’ve signed the contract and the money will be transferred, we’ll take care of any issue for you."

Zhang Ye looked at the boastful Li Feng, "Director Li, the matter we are dealing with is not minor, and if it is handled improperly, I fear it could damage our company’s reputation."

"You can rest assured, public relations is our specialty."

Zhang Ye chuckled as he looked at Li Feng: "Of course, I trust Director Li’s professionalism, so I’ll get straight to the point."

"The issue arose from a medical dispute crisis," Zhang Ye explained the cause and effect of the matter.

"This issue must be resolved in the shortest possible time, ideally without inciting too much public opinion. Moreover, our bottom line is that we do not accept any form of blackmail."

"Understood."

Li Feng nodded.

After the discussion, Li Feng got up and escorted Zhang Ye and his group to the elevator. Watching the elevator doors close, Jiang Linda, who had been standing beside Li Feng, finally couldn’t help but look at him.

"Were you not too rash, signing the contract without understanding the situation thoroughly? They are clearly setting a trap for you."

Li Feng turned to look at Jiang Linda biting her cheek, "I’m not foolish. How could I not see that they were laying a trap?"

"You know, yet you are still so casual about it."

Li Feng glanced at Jiang Linda, "If someone is giving us money, should I push it away? Besides, it’s ten million."

"Besides," he continued, "this line of work is about solving problems for people. Can you really be picky and target only activities where the money is plentiful and the trouble minor?"

"How thick-skinned you are."

Li Feng walked towards his office after speaking, and a visibly flushed Jiang Linda watched him walk away, muttering under her breath with clenched teeth, "You’re the one who’s thick-skinned, and not just thick-skinned but brazen too."

Before Li Feng could reach his office, Wang Jin’er’s secretary, Su Yuqing, intercepted him: "The president wants to see you."

Su Yuqing’s voice was very harsh, and her gaze at Li Feng was unfriendly, as if this man couldn’t go a day without causing trouble.

Li Feng turned to Jiang Linda, "Gather the information from the internet. I’ll need it."

"Let’s go, Secretary Su."

"Li Feng, I heard you signed a contract worth ten million?"

"Yes, how about rewarding me for it?"

Wang Jin’er rolled her eyes: "You want a reward? I heard you signed the contract in less than three minutes without even consulting me."

"Moreover, didn’t you notice anything off about the entire situation? Clover Group is not a small company, and we have never had any previous contact with them. Did you not wonder why they suddenly chose us?"
