Chapter 197: Chapter 197: Drink these 3 cups for me

At that moment, Tong Qian was dressed in a black sexy maid’s outfit that accentuated her graceful figure to the fullest, her waterfall-like long hair cascading over her shoulders, her face radiant with a sweet smile, brimming with the innocence of an angel.

Li Feng stared at Tong Qian, finally understanding how angels and demons could come together; Tong Qian was a fusion of both.

An angelic, pure smile and a devilish, enticing figure—it was enough to make any normal man fall for her at first sight.

Indeed, becoming one of Sea City’s four famous starlets was no fluke.

"Sir, do you still want to drink?"

Tong Qian knocked on the bar and tossed a reproachful glance at Li Feng, secretly very pleased by the expression he had now. Humph, thought she’d let him get away last time, but there was nowhere to run now.

Li Feng coughed and regained his composure, "I say, Head Prefect Tong, if news of you in this outfit got out, you’d be the headline within minutes. So many men would hate not being able to worship at the hem of your pomegranate dress."

Tong Qian hummed in response.

"I don’t care about other men, what about you?"

Li Feng looked at Tong Qian, who was so overtly suggestive that if he just nodded, perhaps he could kiss her tonight—not that Li Feng was particularly hygienic, it was just...

"Me? Heh, first give me a ’Passionate Summer.’"

Tong Qian pouted, "I say, Li Feng, you really think I’m a bartender, eh? I only learned a bit while filming. The only cocktail I can make is Fiery Red Lips. Want to try?"

"Please, start your performance."

Li Feng changed the subject, smiling and casting his gaze towards Tong Qian. Tong Qian pouted again, not pressing him further as the night had only just begun.

Tong Qian twisted around to fetch the alcohol she needed from the liquor cabinet, took the cocktail shaker, and began pouring the base alcohol quite skillfully before starting to mix.

Li Feng sat at the bar, watching Tong Qian perform the cocktail mixing, and couldn’t help admitting that watching a beauty do anything was quite enjoyable—even if Tong Qian’s movements looked slightly clumsy.

Her eyes swept over Li Feng, knowing he was staring, and with a flick of her wrist, she performed a flashy bartending trick, tossing the cocktail shaker mid-air.

However, due to her rusty skills and an intuitive grasp of the force, the cocktail shaker slipped from her hands and hit the operating table, causing the lid to pop open and the liquid inside to splash all over Tong Qian.

"Ah!"

Tong Qian quickly grabbed a towel to wipe herself, but still ended up wetting her upper body, her face flushing red as she raised her head to look at Li Feng, "Probably haven’t touched it for too long, got a bit rusty."

Li Feng was no Liu Xiahui, and Tong Qian’s girlish stance made his heart race a bit faster too.

The air was thick with the scent of alcohol, lending the atmosphere a bit of ambiguity.

Just then,

Footsteps came down the stairs, and Li Feng turned to look. He saw a man and a woman descending.

"Oh, looks like someone got here first."

The woman on the stairs looked into the bar, spotting Tong Qian in her maid’s outfit and, as if discovering a new continent, let go of her companion’s arm and ran to the bar.

"Wow, Qianqian, a maid’s outfit, really splurging there, huh?"

The woman said, then turned to Li Feng, secretly speculating about his identity. Tong Qian was currently quite popular, though not quite first-tier yet. But with her rising trajectory, a leading actress status seemed within reach.

"Yutong, what are you saying?"

Tong Qian clearly had a good relationship with this woman, shooting a reproachful glance at her before turning to Li Feng, "I’ll go wash up first, wait for me a bit, okay?"

After speaking, Tong Qian pulled the woman toward the bar’s restroom.

The man who came with the woman greedily glanced at Tong Qian’s retreating figure a couple of times before regaining his gentlemanly composure and took a seat next to Li Feng at the bar.

"Hello, I’m He Dong, Director of Wanxiang Entertainment."

He Dong extended his hand towards Li Feng. This private bar was known to only a select few insiders; He Dong didn’t recognize Li Feng, but he did know Tong Qian. For a popular young starlet like Tong Qian to be "serving" a man, he surely wasn’t an ordinary person.

"Li Feng."

Li Feng glanced at He Dong but didn’t extend his hand, making the situation a bit awkward. He Dong didn’t expect Li Feng to snub him like that, and although he tried hard, he couldn’t place Li Feng’s face. But then again, Sea City was a metropolis with tens of millions of people—it was impossible to know everyone.

He Dong withdrew his hand and poured himself a drink nonchalantly.

"Mr. Li is quite fortunate, Tong Qian is the rising starlet, hardly involved in any scandals. There are rumors that she’s being kept by someone—could that person be Mr. Li?"

Li Feng glanced at He Dong from the corner of his eye, "I don’t think we’re acquainted."

A twitch appeared at the corner of He Dong’s mouth; he truly hadn’t encountered such an impassive character before, quite a large frame.

After all, it’s customary to chat about women when socializing as a way to build relationships.

He Dong faced multiple rejections and didn’t speak further, preserving his dignity.

Tong Qian and Sun Yutong soon walked out arm in arm. Seeing the two men drinking at the bar, Sun Yutong went straight over and sat down next to Li Feng.

"Hello, handsome. I’m Qianqian’s best friend, Sun Yutong."

"Li Feng."

Li Feng turned back to look at Sun Yutong. This cheerful and lively girl with short hair wore heavy, exquisite makeup, and though she was pretty, she still fell short of Tong Qian in looks and charm.

But her figure was impressive, dressed boldly and fashion-forward.

"Hey, it’s actually the first time I’ve seen Qianqian bring a male companion. She’s quite secretive. What do you do, Big Handsome Li, to have our Qianqian ’serving’ you like this?"

Sun Yutong was pretty straightforward, immediately inquiring about Li Feng’s background. She was genuinely curious, considering the wealthy CEOs, second-generation rich kids, and even government official’s kids who pursued Tong Qian, though she always kept a cool distance and wasn’t known to be close with anyone.

Yet, she always suspected her best friend had a man backing her, especially given the harsh competitiveness of the entertainment industry. Without a powerful man behind her, becoming famous was exceedingly difficult.

Sometimes, even immense effort might not yield the desired results.

"Yutong."

Tong Qian called out to Sun Yutong, promptly wrapping her arm around Li Feng’s; "Ignore her; she’s just crazy. Let’s go sit inside."

"Don’t," Sun Yutong immediately caught Li Feng’s hand and started to coquettishly shake it.

"Is that what you want to know so badly?" Li Feng looked at the slightly petite, youthful-faced Sun Yutong, her coquettish skills truly unparalleled.

Sun Yutong, like a mouse-deer, blinked her big eyes repeatedly, nodding, "Yes, I really want to know."

"I work at a PR firm and Tong Qian and I were classmates. As for our relationship, it’s not what you think. I just did her a small favor, and she brought me here for a drink to thank me."

"Really?" Sun Yutong blinked twice, clearly a bit disappointed. This wasn’t the answer she wanted.

"Alright, now you know, go have fun on your own, don’t bother us," Tong Qian chastised her friend with a glance.

"Hehe, it’s your fault for not telling me anything, making me so curious," Sun Yutong pouted, turning around to grab He Dong’s arm.

"Let’s go."

He Dong didn’t move; Sun Yutong turned to look at the man she brought, puzzled.

He Dong picked up his drink and downed it in one gulp, turning his head to look at Li Feng.

"Huh, I thought you were someone significant, but turns out you’re just a PR guy with a big attitude."

"Huh, Young Master Dong, what is this about?"

"This doesn’t concern you, just stay out of it," He Dong pushed Sun Yutong aside, picked up three glasses, and filled them with liquor.

"Drink these three glasses, and I’ll consider the matter settled."
