Chapter 187: Chapter 187: Open the Yacht to the Sea
"What business?"
Jiang Linda stared at Li Feng, who didn’t look serious, and the words "we have business" coming from his mouth gave off an unreal feeling.
"You’ll see when we get there."
Li Feng extinguished his cigarette in the coffee, which made Jiang Linda clench her fists in anger, wishing she could kill him.
The two left Myth Communication and drove straight to the harbor.
Jiang Linda, still confused, watched as the car entered the harbor area; however, due to her disdain for Li Feng, she didn’t ask any further questions.
Could it be related to Hua Yun Group?
Li Feng drove into a private yacht club, and Jiang Linda followed him as he boarded a yacht.
"Hey, what are you bringing me here for? These are all private yachts, not just anyone can board these."
Those who could afford yachts were definitely not ordinary people.
Li Feng turned his head and glanced at Jiang Linda, "You’re right, not just anyone can board, but this is my yacht, so naturally, I can board whenever I like."
"Your yacht?"
Jiang Linda stared at Li Feng in astonishment as he jumped onto the yacht. Although it wasn’t one of those huge yachts that measured dozens of meters, it was still a large one among private yachts. By her estimation, it was worth millions, just like a luxury car.
"Hurry up and get on board."
Urged by Li Feng, Jiang Linda jumped onto the yacht, but once on board, she regretted it. She watched as Li Feng steered the yacht away from the dock and headed straight out to sea, with apparently only him and her onboard.
He wouldn’t do anything bad to me, would he?
Jiang Linda felt it was very possible, especially since yachts, despite their luxury, didn’t carry a good reputation; men usually had ulterior motives when taking a woman out to sea on one.
Li Feng, following the yacht’s coordinates, headed straight towards international waters and stopped at a specific set of coordinates.
Li Feng came down from the cockpit to the resting area below deck, and immediately noticed Jiang Linda looking tense.
"What are you planning to do?"
Jiang Linda watched as Li Feng walked in, her eyes fixed tightly on him. Seeing her wary look, Li Feng knew she must be thinking the worst.
Though Li Feng didn’t mind teasing this mole left by Zhou Jie,
"Hey, isn’t it obvious what I’m planning? You still need to ask? We’re in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by nothing, and it’s just you and me on this yacht."
Jiang Linda bit her lip—Li Feng’s words confirmed her suspicions. He indeed had bad intentions.
"Li Feng, I didn’t expect you to be so despicable, resorting to such mean deeds."
Li Feng approached Jiang Linda, "I don’t like hearing you say that. So, I can’t manage you and extract some interest for it, even though you can be a mole?"
"You’re dreaming."
Jiang Linda suddenly stood up, grabbed a dinner knife, and stabbed at Li Feng—she wasn’t the type to succumb under threats.
While it was slow to describe, it happened fast.
At the critical moment, Li Feng twisted his body to dodge, the dinner knife stabbed air, and Li Feng grabbed Jiang Linda’s wrist and seized the knife.
Jiang Linda’s face turned pale in an instant.
Li Feng tossed the knife aside, "You don’t have any other weapons on you, do you?"
"If you dare touch me, I won’t let it go that easily unless you kill me and throw my body into the sea." Jiang Linda glared stubbornly at Li Feng.
Li Feng hummed in acknowledgement, then thoroughly searched Jiang Linda, causing her face to flush with anger. If looks could kill, Li Feng would have been torn to pieces.
Li Feng didn’t find any dangerous weapons, so he let Jiang Linda go.
"Don’t put on that innocent look; you don’t really think you’re so beautiful that men lose their way when they see you and can only think about doing bad things, do you?"
"Miss Jiang, you really are confident."
Li Feng sat down to the side, his gaze sweeping over Jiang Linda’s ashamed face. Although her beauty couldn’t compare to Wang Jin’er, the competent and intellectual aura she had developed from her time in the workplace was quite attractive.
"If you want to humiliate me, you’ve succeeded, but if you think I’ll submit to you, you’re dreaming."
Jiang Linda stubbornly thought that Li Feng had brought her to the sea with bad intentions. Even if he hadn’t forced himself on her right away, he was just toying with her.
Li Feng crossed his legs, pulled out a cigarette, and lit it, exhaling a ring of smoke.
"I’m not really into dreaming, but as for making you submit, I’m quite confident about that."
"You don’t have to glare at me like that; I’ll conquer your heart first, make you submit willingly."
"That’s what really gives me a sense of achievement."
Ptui.
Jiang Linda spat; she actually felt relieved inside. Li Feng puffed rings of smoke, and without taking the time of a cigarette, a distant horn sound suddenly came from afar.
On the sea surface, a huge container ship emerged into view and approached steadily.
Jiang Linda also noticed the enormous vessel parked next to the yacht, and Li Feng stood up, looking at her.
"Your legs aren’t too shaky to walk, are they?"
Hearing the irony in Li Feng’s words, Jiang Linda realized she had misunderstood earlier, which made her want to curse. That bastard had definitely done it on purpose. If he had clarified things sooner, she wouldn’t have had such wild thoughts.
From the rest area, they walked up onto the deck where a rope ladder had been thrown down from the side of the container ship.
"If you’re scared of heights, just stay on the yacht."
Li Feng watched Jiang Linda hesitate, provoking her a bit. She glared furiously at Li Feng; her personality was incredibly strong.
Moreover, she felt she was close to discovering the truth she sought. Not going up would just not be in her nature.
Without hesitation, she grabbed the rope ladder and began to climb. Li Feng smirked and followed closely behind. Halfway up, Jiang Linda was shaken by a blast of sea wind, causing the ladder to sway—a minor turbulence for those accustomed to being at sea.
But it was Jiang Linda’s first time, and her body tensed up; she missed her step, and her high heel fell off.
"Ah!"
Jiang Linda stepped into thin air and screamed in fright. Li Feng quickly moved up and grabbed her lower leg, "What’s the panic? It’s just a few meters high, step firmly and keep climbing, don’t look down."
Jiang Linda couldn’t shake off her fright that easily.
Seeing her reaction, Li Feng shot up again, "Calm down."
Jiang Linda winced in pain, which snapped her out of her panicked state, but then a wave of embarrassment and annoyance followed.
"Keep climbing, or I’ll take a few photos of you with my phone."
Flushed with humiliation, Jiang Linda suddenly remembered that Li Feng was right below her. Fear no longer her concern, she sped up and finally climbed aboard the ship, where someone pulled her up.
Li Feng then jumped onto the ship’s deck and tossed the fallen high heel back to Jiang Linda.
With a huff, Jiang Linda glared at this heartless man.
"Mr. Li."
"Mr. Li."
Seeing how respectfully everyone around them treated Li Feng and realizing they were clearly no ordinary people, Jiang Linda swallowed back the words she was about to say.
