Chapter 145: Private Jet.

Lukas sighed, and with his mortal understanding, he could only nod and write a check for them. He gave them a hundred thousand dollar check, and Annie took it and then showed Bella with a smile.

Lukas looked somewhat tired with their little play, so he sat on the couch and ordered a light dessert for himself. He wanted something cold too, so he ordered a luxurious ice cream from the ice cream parlor downstairs.

"You order only for yourself?"

Annie asked, she was more cheerful than before and sat beside Lukas and took the ice cream for herself and even gave some to Bella as well.

Lukas was getting a little frustrated with their behavior and also wanted to go out as soon as possible and return when their chumminess vanished.

"I will go and stay at your house today, you stay here, Annie."

Lukas said, then went ahead and left the hotel. Annie and Bella did try to stop him, but he just went ahead and left the hotel and drove back to Princeton.

Ring-Ring

Lukas’s phone rang, It was Henry once again, he decided to receive it.

"Coach, that’s rare, you almost never call me twice a day."

Lukas said with a smile on his face that he was driving while it was eleven o’clock at night and the roads were mostly vacant.

"Yeah, I changed up your plans a little. Send me twenty thousand dollars now. I just got an email from a friend, he will set you up with a nice tourist guide company there so that you can enjoy your stay, and also that company will arrange your vehicles so that you can move around a bit easier."

Henry said he is still thinking about Lukas, and he checked many places and got the best deal for Lukas.

"I will, don’t worry."

Lukas didn’t bother to ask why or where, as usual.

After ending the call, Lukas called his personal banker, who is also the branch manager of Chase Bank in Princeton.

"Yeah, so send twenty thousand to this account."

Lukas immediately sent money to Coach and went to Annie’s apartment. The apartment felt like it was empty. Lukas, shaking his head, just set an alarm and fell asleep.

He woke up at five in the morning and went outside to jog. He was, of course, using a scarf to hide his face, and after jogging for an hour, he returned with a breakfast in his hand from a local place. The breakfast cost him only ten dollars.

After eating, he took a shower and took some clothes with him. He was going to Japan today. He looked at the clock, it was six thirty, so he studied his academic book for half an hour before Jay came with his car to drop him off.

Roy carried the small luggage for Lukas, and Lukas went downstairs and sat in the car. He felt nice, and Jay, after closing the door, took Lukas to the airport.

The private airport was almost deserted at this time of day, and the plane looked a bit average at best.

"Okay, you two take care of the girls for me. One of you can take it as a vacation, or you can share it among yourselves. I want Annie and Bella to be safe and well guarded."

Lukas said he was talking with Jay and Roy, who were listening to him with deep concentration.

"Okay, this will take me to Japan?"

Lukas asked, he was not in a mood to lecture the boys, he was just doing what he should and leaving for Japan.

"No, sir, this plane will take you to New York. From there you will be transferred into Mr. David’s private jet, and then you can directly go to Japan."

Jay reported, and he was also nodding his head a little.

"Okay, am I flying alone in this?"

Lukas asked, he had a feeling this plane wouldn’t be taking him to Japan because this doesn’t look like an international plane at all.

"Yeah, manager Henry fixed it in a cheap deal."

Jay said.

Lukas, nodding his head, took his luggage in his hand and went to the plane. The crew was small. Lukas didn’t care, he just sat in the plane with his seatbelt on, and he was also listening to the music now.

The flight crew wanted to entertain him with food, but he was not interested. His plane landed at New York airport at sharp eight thirty am. He was shifted to a new and luxurious small private jet. The jet was white and looked super expensive.

After he was given his own seat, a person with two women in his arm entered the cabin. He was bald and looked super rich. He nodded at Lukas, and Lukas nodded back out of politeness.

Then some formally dressed personnel entered, they were carrying stacks of paper in their hands and looked at Lukas with shocked expressions.

Lukas smiled at them, as he couldn’t ignore people who would be his flight partners for the next thirteen or so hours.

Lukas didn’t bother with their on-air meeting, he was just enjoying his ride. He was not certain he should or not, but he was glad he ate breakfast, he didn’t order anything for breakfast.

The meeting ended just before lunch, and Mr. David came to say hello to Lukas, who was just about to fall asleep. Lukas looked at him with a slight smile.

"You don’t even know who I am, do you?"

David asked, his girls were sleeping in the back. Lukas, on the other hand, just shook his head in denial, he had no idea whatsoever who this baldy was.

"I am the chairman and CEO of MetLife Insurance, honored to give you a ride. You can use this plane as your own."

David said Lukas frowned, then remembered, as his eyes flashed a little red, MetLife was his tenant in New York, he owns a huge-ass building in New York, and he just now remembered that.

"Yeah... I almost forgot about you, Mr. David. So how do you know my manager?"

Lukas asked, Henry set him up for this trip with David.

"He’s an old friend. Also, coincidentally, we met when you purchased that building. He came to discuss terms with me, and my reply was a little mean to him. I said we will follow the old contract and change when it’s time to pay rent. He was demanding more rent, but I turned him down."

David said with a chuckle that he was enjoying his conversation with Lukas, his landlord, who was so young and almost a billionaire.

"I see, no worries. When are you paying that rent next time anyway?"

Lukas asked, he was not sure when he would be getting that money.

"I would love to delay it as much as possible but have to pay you around February. I will not increase the rent. The business is not doing well. This year people died too much and took away my profit like bugs."

David said, his tone was sad and also frustrated.

"Okay, no worries, I will not ask for more, just pay it in time, please."

Lukas said he now understood what Henry meant. He smiled and shook his head, remembering his conversation with Henry.

"In that I can agree. Come eat with me, the lunch is ready."

David invited Lukas to the dining table politely. He was smiling. He went to talk with Lukas because he wanted Lukas to join him at the dining table.

Lukas nodded his head and joined the table of this mafia-looking man, the two ladies were serving them lunch, and nobody else joined the table.

The two ladies were wearing very revealing clothes. Lukas tried to concentrate on just the food, but if a huge cleavage was almost rubbed in your face, you would feel something, right?

Lukas just looked a little sometimes and didn’t make the atmosphere awkward, he ate, then went to his seat and peacefully fell asleep.

Next time he woke up, he saw Baldy was taking his two mistresses inside the plane, where there is a room, maybe. Lukas could only guess. He looked at the accountants, who were also looking at him with nervous expressions.

Lukas just went back to sleep, he was not that free to spend his time on them. He prefers sleeping through this trip. Next time, when he purchases his personal private jet, he might enjoy things differently then.

Lukas was sleeping so deeply that a flight attendant had to wake him up when he landed in Japan.

He woke up and thanked the flight attendant, then he was taken to the VIP section by some guy in a black suit. They checked his passport and visa and let him enter the VIP reception.

There were many people standing outside the mirror. Lukas could see a Japanese lady, who was very fat, holding a plaque with the name ’Lukas’ on it.

Lukas first took a free cake from the counter and then went outside with his luggage. He walked forward, and as he was about to walk towards that lady who was holding his name plaque, someone tried to grab his shoulder.

Lukas dodged it with his athletic physique and looked towards his back. A very beautiful woman was standing there, her eyes were half-closed as if she was bored with this world, and she had a medium haircut. She was wearing a light green jacket and looked at Lukas without any emotions on her face.

"My face is stoic."

She said she had a deep Japanese English accent.
