Chapter 311: Chapter 294 Eastern Orthodox Cult 2 (same as before, asking for next Monthly Ticket, by the way indicating I am still alive....)

"I’m on the plane heading to your location now," said the person in gold, whose voice was always sweet and delicate. But beneath the seemingly gentle and affectionate exterior lay a personality of extreme cold-heartedness that belonged to a top-tier powerhouse.

"Hurry up, I’m waiting for you," Lin Fei said.

The connection was cut.

Lin Fei quickly recalled the information he had looked up earlier.

"The Hand of Radiance is not so much a church as it is the strongest armed force belonging to an independent sect within the Eastern Orthodox Cult. To the entire Eastern Orthodox Cult, this sect holds a pivotal position. However, because the Hand of Radiance has a strong aversion to the Vatican and holds an irreconcilable enmity with the Heretic Inquisition and the Trial Knight Order, it has since been suppressed by the Holy See and now operates underground."

"Nevertheless, in the territories controlled by the Eastern Orthodox Cult, the Hand of Radiance can still show itself openly. This indicates that the relationship between the Holy See and the Eastern Orthodox Cult’s leadership isn’t very harmonious."

"The Trial Knight Order’s pursuit of Sis could very well be because of something that led to Sis offending Aisaha because of me. However, their grudge isn’t severe, so they probably won’t pursue the matter to the bitter end. Therefore, the most urgent matter now is to quickly get information on the Spider as well as Sis’s situation. Perhaps I could start with the Hand of Radiance."

Lin Fei pondered thoughtfully.

But just then, his cell phone suddenly received a text message.

Lin Fei picked it up and saw that it was a reply from the Spider, still a string of secret codes.

"The Trial Knight Order’s Serpent, Raphael, is pursuing me. Sis is in the underground of the last manor in the suburbs of London. Seriously injured," Lin Fei translated the message using the code.

"London?" Lin Fei muttered. He had seen Spider before; his exposed strength and aura were nearly at a B level, but he probably didn’t have the strength of the mid-tier or peak of B level like the Red Hand and Xiu. Since this Serpent Raphael could chase after Spider, but the pressure he gave didn’t seem too great, with even time to send text messages, he likely wasn’t very strong.

"It seems that thing hasn’t been given to Sis yet," he concluded in his mind.

Thump thump thump!

A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts.

"Lin Fei? Are you there?"

The door was gently opened, and to his surprise, the girl standing outside was Feil, the girl who had always been very close to Lin You. She was dressed in a black silk dress that highlighted her slender waist, with her fair thighs peeking out from under the short hem. She exuded a faint noble aura, with long black hair that fell to her waist. Somehow, Lin Fei vaguely felt that he had met Feil before, even though her face was completely unfamiliar to him.

"Is there something you need?"

Feil nodded, "We have arranged our activities here, but..."

"I know. I have my own plans, and you don’t need to worry about me," Lin Fei said with a smile.

"Well, if that’s the case, then that’s fine. I’m very sorry; I always feel awfully guilty about you," Feil said politely, bowing slightly, with two small dimples appearing on her smiling face, making her look sweet and charming.

"I’m best friends with Little You, and since you’re her brother, I was wondering if I could also call you ’brother’?"

Lin Fei was slightly taken aback, then smiled, "Of course you can. You seem young, too."

The two casually chatted for a while.

Behind the door across the way, Lin You watched with a furious expression.

"That old witch, always pretending to be young," she muttered.

In her view, Feil was now talking and gently pulling on Lin Fei’s hand to shake it, which infuriated Lin You even more.

Bucharest Square Hotel

Inside a suite

"Alice, how does it feel to be on your first mission?" A middle-aged woman softly sipped her coffee while sitting on the edge of the bed. Her conversational partner was a radiant young girl who had just walked out of the bathroom. The girl had brown hair that came just to her shoulders, a face both resolute and pretty, with pale blue eyes suggesting a mixed heritage. Even after a shower and stepping out of the bathroom, she maintained a proud and upright posture.

"Although under the same faith, I really don’t like the atmosphere here," the girl commented softly.

"Don’t take it too seriously. Just complete the mission well, and let those knights handle the rest. We’re just there to assist," the middle-aged woman said gently.

"The Lord guides us, and we should strive to do our best, for perfection is the right path," Alice recited a teaching from somewhere like reading from a book.

"Here you go again. We’re just preparatory clergy. Can you not aim for such high ideals? You haven’t even graduated from the seminary, have you?" the middle-aged woman said with a note of exasperation.

"I’ll get my diploma in the second half of the year," Alice replied earnestly. "To be honest, I’m very satisfied with getting this job. The pay is good, the benefits are good, and it has high social status. As a student who just graduated, I don’t have the elite capabilities of my seniors, I’m just an ordinary person."

"This mission is really just a formality. We’re simply coordinating with Priest Ansinia for a routine cultural exchange with the Eastern Orthodox Cult. Don’t you go spouting any strange doctrines at tomorrow’s concert," the middle-aged woman advised.

"Oh..." the girl obediently responded.

"Let’s get some sleep."

The next day

Outskirts of Bucharest

Clan Leader Cathedral

Bright morning sunlight filtered through the green forest.

A somewhat crowded stream of people emerged from the path surrounded by trees, walking continuously into the interior of the Clan Leader Cathedral.

This was a cluster of buildings dominated by shades of gray and brown.
