Chapter 312: Chapter 294 Eastern Orthodox Cult 2 (same as before, asking for Monthly Ticket, and by the way indicating that I am still alive...) _2
Alice was dressed in a black suit, and although the weather was sunny, it was still a bit cold. She was somewhat glad she had worn stockings in advance, even though wearing black seemed a bit too trendy.
Walking in front of her was Aunt Yilien, her partner, who was also the person who recommended her to enter the organization under the Ministry of External Affairs of the Holy See. This mission was originally a transitional task for her to become an ordained clergy member, and she was merely basking in her aunt’s glory.
In the very front were two white-haired old men in black priest attire, each wearing a Silver Cross on their chest, meticulously groomed. These were the official mission personnel: Father Ansenia and Father Guideo Tama.
The group of four did not enter through the main entrance but from a small side door. Someone was already waiting for them behind the door.
A few priests in the same black robes came up to greet them.
"Welcome, brothers and sisters from afar. We are about to start the routine religious concert soon, and you can go take a look if interested," said one priest.
Alice noticed that behind these black-robed priests were young people similar to her, one male and two females. The male was handsome, but the females included one plump and one extremely thin. Perhaps it was the strong contrast that made the young man across from her keep looking over at Alice.
While the priests completed the exchange, Alice and the three young people also gained the freedom to move around.
Alice began to wander around the building complex.
"What do you think? This place is the headquarters of the Eastern Orthodox Cult. Although it might not be as splendid as the Vatican, its historical depth and atmosphere are also extraordinary," the handsome young man following Alice proclaimed, appointing himself as a guide.
"It’s a beautiful place," Alice replied casually.
The two slowly walked out of the religious affairs area, and more tourists began to appear around them. There were occasional people saluting them, showing a thick religious atmosphere.
Alice’s gaze swiftly swept across the scenery. Indeed, the place was imbued with a rich historical essence, giving it a profound, weighty feel.
As they passed a building resembling a library, Alice saw a sign at the entrance detailing the ongoing concert’s schedule and repertoire.
You could vaguely hear the sound of music coming from inside, including the faint sound of choral voices.
The doors were wide-open, with tourists constantly entering and leaving the place.
"Shall we go in and take a look?" the nearby young man asked with a smile.
Alice nodded, ready to enter, but the music inside suddenly stopped, and a large crowd flowed out from the building.
"It seems to have ended earlier than planned. Unfortunately, you might have to wait until next time," the young man shrugged.
"No problem," Alice smiled slightly, "I just wanted to look inside the building."
"That’s fine then."
Suddenly, Alice noticed a tourist who was different from the others; while everyone else was walking outside, he was walking towards the concert hall. The man seemed young, about twenty years old, with black hair and black eyes, probably from the East, with a slim and well-proportioned body. As he walked up the steps, there was an indiscernible rhythm and charm about him.
Alice just stared at him, not knowing why she was drawn to him. She just unconsciously watched him.
It seemed he noticed her gaze, as the young man suddenly turned around and gave her a slight smile.
Alice politely returned the smile, then shifted her gaze away.

Lin Fei slowly walked into the small church; the music concert had ended, and the boys and girls from the choir had also left one after another, leaving behind a few tourists and several priests dressed in white robes. Among them, an elderly priest with grey hair was directing the others to tidy up the church, arranging things like musical instruments.
The entire church was very spacious, rows of brown wooden chairs neatly arranged, and the high, pointed roof made the already not-so-large area appear extremely vast. The walls were also adorned with intricate and beautiful relief patterns.
Lin Fei found a seat near the front and sat down, quietly watching the priest on stage.
Apart from heading directly to the religious affairs zone, attending a religious music concert here was one of the easiest opportunities to come into contact with the high ranks of the Eastern Orthodox Cult. Thus, Lin Fei had come directly here.
This place was the Clan Leader’s Cathedral, headquartered in Eastern Europe for the Eastern Orthodox Cult. Any hostile force, any power that might threaten the order of the Eastern Orthodox Cult, was closely monitored.
The priest on stage was named Doug and, on one hand, he presided over the religious concert while on the other, he had a mysterious identity.
Perhaps noticing Lin Fei’s gaze, Doug smiled slightly at Lin Fei and came down from the stage.
Lin Fei could feel that constantly sweeping over his body were various detection forces like scanners, and his physical strength, superior to ordinary people, also meant that he was stringently monitored.
"Child, is there something I can help you with?" Priest Doug said kindly.
"I’m facing a very painful issue, completely clueless and at a loss." Lin Fei fluently spoke in German, which was also a communicable language here.
"What kind of issue is it? Perhaps I can help you." Doug smiled, appearing exceptionally benevolent.
"My life is full of various sins and disasters, I bring misfortune to others, bring death, I am filled with regret, I once wanted to confess, but still can’t extricate myself." Lin Fei spoke deeply.
"Is it? Poor child." Doug shook his head, "God will forgive you, as long as you repent sincerely. Come, I’ll take you inside to talk properly."
***************
Alice looked curiously at the young man being led by Priest Doug inside, through a small side door.
"That is the chapel specifically for confession. Priest Doug is extremely kind-hearted, having devoted his life to the glory of God with diligent service, he is a role model for our generation to learn from." The man beside her explained.
"Can I take a look inside?" Alice asked.
"Unfortunately, you cannot." The man shrugged, "Confession processes are usually absolutely confidential for the parties involved. It’s basic respect for privacy right."
Alice nodded understandingly. However, as she watched the young man follow the priest into the door, she felt a vague, strange sensation.
She continued to follow the man visiting the music concert church. Alice couldn’t suppress her curiosity; the shadow of the man from before continuously replayed before her eyes. Ultimately, she made an excuse to go to the bathroom to escape the man following her.
She stealthily slipped through the side door.
But the moment she entered, she was completely stunned in place.
"Child, there are no unsolvable contradictions in this world, try to understand, to forgive, as long as you learn to discover, God will redeem you." Doug stood on the podium with a kind expression.
Lin Fei stood in the middle of the church, smiling at the priest.
"So, how will you redeem me?" He slowly clasped the hilt of the sword at his waist. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to go to Qidian.com to vote for recommendation tickets, monthly tickets.Your support is my greatest motivation.)
