Chapter 80: Chapter 80 Blinding Golden Light

Andre, Chadite, and Vanessa went up to meet them directly, each engaging in a skirmish with a Knight statue.

Facing the Metal Giant Sword swung by the statue, Andre easily dodged it, and his blue iron fist landed heavily on the statue’s waist. However, the material of the Knight Armor seemed to contain a special metal. This punch didn’t cause much damage.

Seeing this, old Bobby, who was observing the statues nearby, immediately said, "The armor must have been forged with Magic Communication Materials, giving it good Magic Resistance."

"You hold them off first. Let me see what their weaknesses are; I haven’t examined this kind of Spell Guard yet."

Alka assisted Chadite, firmly holding the Knight in front of them, while Jason assisted Vanessa nearby. The Knights’ strength barely reached One Spiral, so it was difficult for them to pose any real trouble.

Andre’s strength had already surpassed One Spiral, and it was said he was about to reach Two Spirals. Chadite and Vanessa had both reached One Spiral.

After a few rounds of combat, Alka could see clearly. These Knight guards had extremely strong defenses. Wielding their Great Swords, one would think their attack power would also be formidable. But their movements weren’t fast. If one just aimed to dodge and stall, it wasn’t difficult; one wouldn’t even need the strength of One Spiral to evade them easily. But if one wanted to knock these Knights down, that wasn’t easy.

Andre had already struck the Knight in front of him to the point where it creaked, but the Knight’s Armor only showed some dents, its movements slightly distorted. Despite taking so many attacks from Andre, it could still attack rather smoothly.

A few minutes passed. The Knight in front of Andre was already struggling with every step, its armor covered in dents. Its helmet had a broken corner, revealing a strange structure inside.

Jason couldn’t help but ask from the side, "Old Bobby, how much longer?"

"I see it! I see it! Hit its chest, the lower right corner! That should be the Energy transfer core."

Upon hearing this, a Blue Card appeared in Alka’s hand. Without hesitation, he flung it at the Knight before him. The Blue Card exploded in front of it, and four chains bound its limbs, immobilizing it.

Chadite also rushed forward without hesitation. Intense silver light gathered on her right hand.

BANG!

With a loud explosion, she punched the indicated weak point. The entire Knight Armor was immediately sent flying, crashing to the ground and skidding several meters. After twitching on the ground a few times, it became completely motionless.

"Don’t always try to use brute force! Use technique! Use Magic Power to penetrate!" Seeing Chadite’s action, Andre, who was nearby, took the opportunity to lecture her. He then turned to face his own enemy.

"Watch carefully!"

As he spoke, blue brilliance gathered on his right hand. The light didn’t disperse; instead, it wrapped his fist like a thin membrane.

WHOOSH!

A strong sound of tearing through air was heard. Alka couldn’t even see clearly when Andre’s punch landed on the weak point. The Knight didn’t fly back. Instead, it was immediately extinguished and collapsed to the ground. A large hole appeared where the weak point was.

Seeing this, Alka couldn’t help but quip, With that kind of power, does a weak point even matter? He could scrap it with a punch anywhere!

Andre’s earlier exchanges with the Knight now seemed like a mere warm-up.

"Did you see clearly?" Andre turned around to ask.

Jason, who had by now dealt with his opponent, and Alka exchanged glances. They hadn’t seen a thing.

Chadite did nod but then said despondently, "It’s not that easy, Dad. Seeing and learning are two different things."

"Your training has slacked a bit," Andre said after a brief silence. "I will resume your training when we get back."

Upon hearing this, Chadite visibly deflated.

With the three Knights defeated, the flat stone slabs in the spacious area underground began to tremble slowly. The ground cracked open, and the stone slabs underfoot began to slide to the sides, revealing the space below. The few people standing on the slabs quickly jumped to the side.

As the slabs slowly opened, the items in the space below were gradually revealed to everyone. The first thing that emerged was a dazzling golden light. However, this blinding light didn’t make them obediently close their eyes; instead, they widened them further. The brilliant golden light signified immense wealth.

As the slabs fully opened, a square space with sides of about four meters was revealed. Neatly arranged inside was an enormous fortune. It was unlike Vault No. 5, which contained various oil paintings and sculptures. This vault, however, offered a direct display of gold, diamonds, jewels, and very expensive armor and weapons. At the very center of the area, there was a Treasure Chest.

Old Bobby swiftly grabbed a handful of powder from a side pocket and sprinkled it down into the Treasure Vault below. The dust gently floated down without any reaction.

"No problem."

Hearing this, Andre then jumped down. After observing carefully for a moment, he nodded and took out the cloth bag Alka had used earlier. He fully opened the bag’s mouth and began stuffing the surrounding treasures into it. Before long, the golden light dimmed, as the various Treasures inside had been completely stuffed into the seemingly bottomless bag. The only thing left was the Treasure Chest in the center.

Andre tossed the bag in his hand upwards, and Chadite caught it deftly. Andre then jumped up, holding the Treasure Chest.

Old Bobby immediately went up to examine the Treasure Chest. "No problem. No deliberate mechanisms have been set; it can be opened easily."

"Then let’s head back to the ship first."

With that said, Andre prepared to carry the Treasure Chest out.

"Wait, wait! Take the remains of this Spell Guard with us too. Although it’s scrapped, the materials on it are very precious."

Hearing this, Chadite, carrying the bag, ran over and dragged the three Rune Guard remains into it as well.

"Now we’re all set!" Bobby said, rubbing his hands. "Hurry, let’s get on the ship! I can hardly wait!"

Everyone else, also excited, retreated together.

Since the Round Disc Key for the iron door had completely fused into it, they could only gently close it. They returned to the circular stone slab, and old Bobby retrieved the Round Disc Key. The slab slowly ascended.

Then, they restored the surrounding vegetation and soil, creating a simple camouflage. Vanessa waved her hand. Pale green light scattered down, and on the thin layer of soil, the plants seemed to spring back to life. The camouflage was perfect.
