Chapter 203: I can only give rough ideas

Their gameplay was impressive.

I felt like I was watching an actual basketball competition between stars. It was thrilling and unlike what I feared, there was no intentional foul play.

I watched them, my eyes moving from left to right so fast as if I were a scout looking for potential talent to play in the leagues.

I got so focused that I didn’t even have time to cheer unless someone scored.

As soon as someone scored, I’d jump out of my seat and raise my pompoms, blowing the whistle as loud as possible to show off my excitement.

But there was something else that added to my excitement.

It wasn’t just the gameplay but how my masters looked, especially alluring with sweat dripping down their bodies like glitter, their soaked hair flailing left and right, and showing off their manly charms.

I nearly bit off the whisper from the rope and marvelled. I was utterly mesmerized.

There was nothing that gave me more satisfaction than watching handsome men play with other handsome men while trying to entertain me.

They were giving it their best. I’d better make their rewards worthwhile. After all, it was my lips on the line here.

"Score! That’s how you do it, losers." Seo-Jun exclaimed as he scored his... Wait a minute.

I counted my fingers and then gasped.

"That was his seventh hoop." I exclaimed in shock.

How was that possible? They were all playing their best and scoring, so why was Seo-Jun in the lead?

I noticed that Seo-Jun had a good scoring sense. He could shoot long balls and get the ball through the hoop. He also had a strategy going on for him.

’Oh my God, did that mean he was actually a basketball prodigy?’ I was more shocked than I was excited.

It was no wonder he made that suggestion. He knew he would win no matter what. Such confidence was not unfounded.

That sounds bastard. He got me this time.

After Seojun was Min-Cheol who was barely keeping up his second place at 5 hoops. Ki-hoon and Jin-Yeok were tied to 4 hoops.

I don’t even need to think of how things will turn out at the end. It seemed like Seo-Jun would win this no matter what.

Then, am I going to be the one to plan the date after all? I don’t know a single place so there’s no way I can plan a date.

I can only give rough ideas, like wanting to go to the amusement park, or watch a movie, and have dinner as well.

Hm, there should be other interesting spots, right?

"Score!" Once again, Seo-Jun scored, taking advantage of his long-shot talent.

He flashed a grin at me and I smiled, barely.

Yeah, he was definitely going to win this.

"You don’t look happy." Seo-Jun said as he walked towards me with a cane of water in his hand.

"Well, I’m just shocked." I said. "I didn’t expect you to be this talented in basketball?"

"Haha, did you think I was just being arrogant?" He asked, hitting the nail in the head and I darted my eyes away.

Well, it is true that he is a very arrogant and prideful Alpha. But his arrogance stemmed from how capable he was. He was, after all, in the digital business.

His company had to do with digital resources like apps, phone models, computers, digital currency, and so forth.

For someone to handle such a company, they needed to be very smart upstairs. They needed to be able to use their heads no matter the time or place.

That was one reason why this guy was so cunning that it was hard to outsmart him.

And because of that, he had this confidence that he could do anything, which he could, so he grew arrogant.

Seo-Jun is not a person who goes into something without being confident that he will come out on top.

Though, this arrogant man did not see one thing to the end. Which was bringing me to my knees and forcing me to spread my legs.

Instead, he bowed his head.

I’m still on guard, though. As I said, he was a very cunning viper, so he would go to any lengths to get the job done, and that included acting like he had given up, only to strike when I least expected it.

Seo-Jun looked at me and then laughed.

"You’re funny, Jo-Pil." He nudged my head with the can of water and said, "Just wait till I show you what I have planned out. It’ll be fun."

At that moment, it felt like I had been swarmed with butterflies. He smiled in such a charming way that I ended up blushing.

I touched the wet spot on my forehead and then chuckled.

"I guess I’m not the one doing the planning after all." I muttered and then raised my head to watch as he taunted the others. "I hate to admit it but I’m kinda looking forward to what you have in store."

"Hyung," Min-Cheol threw himself at me while sobbing. "I’m losing."

"Aw," I brushed his hair. "It’s not all that bad." I said. "Are you having fun?"

"Sorta," he said, looking away.

"Then it’s worth it. You don’t have to win to have fun, after all."

"But the first-place reward was a date with you. I wanted to get it." He said, pouting his lips and I watched him, his puppy form deceiving my eyes.

Gosh, I was sure I saw fallen ears just now. What am I thinking about?

"It’s fine. We can always have a date some other time." I said to him and his eyes glittered in excitement. "But since you’re so busy, you can’t be thinking of dares now, can you?" I asked and his excitement fell, the glitter fading from his eyes as he pouted and exclaimed,

"I want to quit."

"What?!" Is he insane? If they start quitting one by one, who’s going to guarantee my smooth sailing life of luxury?

I mean, how are they going to survive? How are ’we’ going to survive?

"Look at me, Little Min," I said, cupping his face with both of my hands. "Don’t ever think of quitting your job. You’re still so young."

"But working always takes the time I have to spend with Hyung. It makes me sad." He said and I sighed.

Life isn’t fair, kiddo. This is the adult world, after all.

"Quitting is not an option." I said to him and my eyes glinted. "If you quit, Little Min, how will you get me all the things you promised to get me?"

If it’s like this, I might be able to convince him but the clueless little one went ahead and said,

"From my savings."

It was like a huge rock falling on my head.

He was showing off that he was better off than I, right? His savings could probably feed an entire country for more than a year.

Such oppression... I could already feel blood spilling from my lips.

"That won’t do." I said to him. "If you end up using all your savings to get me gifts, how will you survive afterwards? You have to keep working, Little Min. That’s the only way."
