The problems with her relationship with Matthias hadn’t been resolved yet, and now a new one had arisen. This was what gave her a bad feeling after the dinner party ended. She was actually very curious about what agreement she had made with Chris. Because she was so drunk, she didn’t remember anything. But why would Chris suddenly offer her a role as a model for a commercial? She’d never considered becoming one before.

"Why did you suddenly offer me to be an advertising model?

"Should I explain it again after you sign the cooperation agreement?"

"What?! Since when did I sign that agreement! Do you have any proof?"

"Do I have to show you the agreement that you signed in person and the fingerprints that prove that you signed it?"

Victoria folded her arms. "Still, I never sign an agreement without first hearing the terms. Especially if it’s detrimental to me."

"Okay, let me explain your actual assignment to you again. So, my company is launching a new perfume soon. However, I need a model to advertise my company’s product. The theme is summer."

"Are there no models willing to do it?"

"Actually there was, but she turned down my offer because she heard one thing that made her immediately back out."

"What is that thing?"

"You just have to follow the scenario my team has created. Since the theme is summer, you have to wear a bikini and swim with a male model."

"That is it?"

"There was a kissing scene tucked into the script. You had to kiss the male model. That’s why the female model immediately turned me down."

Victoria clenched her fists tightly. This was what made her so angry, because she had foolishly signed that stupid contract while drunk. She had never acted rashly before when signing an agreement. However, for some reason, this was the first time she had done so without thinking. Furthermore, she was extremely reluctant to kiss anyone.

"What if I want to cancel the contract?"

"You won’t be able to cancel it. If you really do it, you’ll probably have to mortgage your own company."

Victoria laughed in annoyance. "You’re such a cunning guy, Chris! I thought you wouldn’t torture me like this!"

"Is it that difficult for you to help my company? Even though I already agreed to help you last night. You have to pay me back!"

"But, I have never kissed another man."

"Are you worried that your husband will be disappointed in you?"

Victoria’s brow furrowed. "My husband?"

"Last night you agreed because you really enjoyed swimming with your husband. But to advertise my product, you don’t actually do it with him."

"Since when have I been married?"

"Weren’t you the one who said yesterday that you were married?" Chris snapped his fingers. "You mean your boyfriend is super hot?"

"The point is, I’m not married. But I’m really reluctant to kiss a male model."

Chris raised his head arrogantly. "Okay, if you’re stubborn, you’ll be at a disadvantage later. But if you do what I want, your company will be even more secure. This is a major project, and you’ll get a bonus many times over from me."

Victoria could only take a deep breath, then exhale in resignation. The thought of herself in a bikini and openly kissing another man filled her with shame. She didn’t want her body to be seen by everyone in the world. Up until now, the only person who had ever seen her body was her husband.

"Okay, I’ll do it. Just let me know when I can discuss the scenario with the male model."

Chris patted Victoria enthusiastically on the shoulder. "This way, I won’t break my contract with you again. I’m even more excited to work with you."

"As long as you keep your promise, you must pay the exact amount stipulated in the agreement."

"Of course. We’ve been working together for a long time, I couldn’t possibly let you down."

"Telling me to wear only a bikini and kiss other men is like asking me to do a bed scene in an adult movie."

"The concept is different from what you’re thinking, Victoria. You’re just shooting a perfume commercial with that male model. You’re sure to like that male model too, because he’s so muscular and sexy."

"I don’t care how handsome the man is. What I really hate is having to show off my body so openly just for your company’s benefit."

Now Victoria is confused about what to say to her husband. She has to show off her body for everyone while kissing another man. She was sure that her husband would not forgive her, let alone that he really loved her very much. Definitely will not allow these red lips to be touched by other men.

During dinner with her husband, Victoria hadn’t spoken much since her conversation with Chris, and she was still bothered by Matthias’s mother’s blessing of their marriage. In fact, lately, she’d been trying not to act awkwardly in front of her husband. She wanted to handle this whole thing herself.

"My wife, what’s wrong with you today?"

Victoria shook her head quickly. "I’m fine. Why are you worrying me all of a sudden?"

"Because you’ve been looking gloomy lately. Are you still afraid of what my mother said?"

"I’ve been more or less tired lately. Since I’ve been working with all my clients again, your workload has returned to normal."

"You can’t lie to me."

"What?"

"That expression on your face doesn’t indicate you’re tired. It’s that something’s wrong with you."

"Matthias, could you please stop worrying so much about me for once? I don’t want you to keep meddling in my affairs."

"But, I have the right to know your problem."

Victoria laughed in annoyance as she roughly placed her spoon on her plate. "Please, I don’t want you involved in my problems."
