At first light the next day, Yanzhi ordered for their departure from the inn and continue on with their journey. Yanzhi and Xiao Ling along with their members were in good positive conditions as they prepared to depart. But that wasn’t the same for the Luo’s, due to the state in which Luo Xia was found the previous night things were messy for their family. Luo Xia was found by a bypasser who reported to the workers in the inn, which was then reported to the inn keeper. Due to that Luo Xia’s shameful state was known to a lot of people. The Luo’s who were disgraced badly didn’t know where to put their faces.

"Master Jun! Mistress Xiao" Luo Cheng Yuan called out and greeted Yanzhi and Xiao Ling when they were about to board their carriages. Yanzhi just gave a nod and went on to climb the carriage followed by Xiao Ling who no longer wanted to care about them. Yue and Chang saluted respectfully to the Luo’s before also climbing onto the carriage. Liu glimpsed upon Luo Xia who looked haggard and was hiding behind her parents, looking as if her soul hard left her. The current appearance of Luo Xia made her smirked satisfied as she also climbed the carriage before closing the door, even with the veil cover on her face one could notice her scornful look.

Luo Cheng Yuan sighed, his son clenched his fists trying to hold back his anger thinking even a servant had the nerves to scorn at them. They also went to their carriages with their hearts in turmoils. The carriages started to move.

"Junior sister Liu say, there was a rumour in the inn about young miss Luo Xia being found in a disgraceful state." Yue glanced lightly ay Liu as she stated in carefree tone. "I remembered telling junior sister Liu not to take things too far?" she asked. "I did as senior sister Yue instructed" in a calm voice Liu replied back to Yue. "It was just that the mind of that pesky insect was weaker than i thought, she couldn’t even last a minute when i showed her the illusion of my snake form." she said with disappointments. Yue took back her gazes from her "I see" Yue said and decided not to ask about the matter again.

"You did something to her after I left?" their conversations piqued Xiao Ling’s interest. "Mistress i didn’t even get to do what i wanted to do with her before she passed out" Liu informed in a pained voice. "That insect dared to disrespect you, ripping apart her mouth would be the right punishment. But it was of mistress’s benevolence to forgive that rude insect" she complained unhappily.

"Liu! You respect your mistress’s ways of doing things, don’t question him ever again!" Yanzhi who was quietly listening to them but when he heard Liu complained, he scolded her. He was truly upset when he was informed of the incidence that occured by Yue even when Xiao Ling didn’t want him to know about it, he wanted to erase the existence of that daring child. But Xiao Ling prevented him from doing so, since it was Xiao Ling’s choice of not wanting to pursue the matter he respected Xiao Ling’s desición. Xiao Ling argued about it being unnecessary to be affected by the words of a mere child, Yanzhi agreed with his reasoning.

"Liu was wrong, i plead with master and mistress to forgive Liu" she quickly knelt on one knee and cupped her hands with her head down asking for forgiveness. "Mhm, it’s okay. Xiang gong i don’t mind, I’d be happy if they’ll speak their thoughts to me. That’s what family does... right?" Xiao Ling now considered them as his family, since loosing his family at the beginning of the dungeon apocalypse in his previous life. He has always envied those with family, he may not show it but he yearned to be one with family too laughing with them and talking about random things. And now that such opportunity has been given to him with people he could trust earnestly and show his back to at ease. Yanzhi looked to him with understanding of his mindset, for Yanzhi he really didn’t care and it didn’t matter much. But as long as it was something Xiao Ling desired then he would comply, that was what Yanzhi had put in mind. "If that’s what little wife wants, then i have no problem with it." He said to Xiao Ling with a doting smile, "but.....that doesn’t mean you should make a habit of it, little wife’s choices are absolute!" he warned his disciples coldly.

They said respectfully. Who amongst them dare to make it a habit to go against Xiao Ling’s choice when they themselves knew how he was. Xiao Ling was more approachable and playful than Yanzhi, but just like Yanzhi they feared him as much too.

"That’s great, you all might be Yanzhi’s disciples but let’s live like a big happy family" Xiao Ling beamed brightly while saying.

"Yes mistress!" they all replied happily, the corner of Yanzhi’s lips arched up into a smile seeing how happy the youngster was.

"...but Chang why are you quiet? You’ve been out of it since last night even when you got to eat the meat of a magic beast" Xiao Ling asked Chang who was quietly listening to them with a saddened and complicated mood. He knew of Chang to be the immature and cheerful type but since the previous night, Chang had been with a serious face.

"Pfft!" both Yue and Liu laughed out heartily. "Mistress you must have not heard, this idiot’s stock of spirit stones and elixirs for the next stockup has been cut off!" Liu informed excitedly. "He got into trouble because of that human" Yue added as she watched him with dissatisfaction.

"Something like that happened?" Xiao Ling turned to YanZhi hearing their words, Chang was distressed being talked about.

"He couldn’t even drive away one measly human child when i did warned not to be disturbed. What use is of him?!" Yanzhi stated with mild tone, he was lazy to talk it.

"Master i just didn’t want to treat her harshly fearing she would get hurt if i did, and we were told not to harm the humans since they’re weaker species than us." Chang defended feeling aggrieved. Yanzhi ignored him.

"Ooh so that’s what happened" Xiao Ling said after putting together things. "Xiang gong if i may ask, is it only you who can give them the things in the space?" Yanzhi sat up straight hearing his question. He looked to Xiao Ling with confusion, Xiao Ling just blinked innocently waiting for his answer.

The reason he asked that was because Xiao Ling thought that it wasn’t Chang’s fault, because he himself also didn’t want to hurt that girl when she really did pissed him off. She was just a child and that too with no knowledge of the world. So Chang having his supply cut off because of that it didn’t sit well with Xiao Ling since those supplies were very important for Chang’s growth. But since it was YanZhi’s punishment to Chang who couldn’t carry out his order, it was reasonable for the master to punish the disciples. But it would be a different matter if it was him (XL) gifting Chang those supplies when Yanzhi denied him. Xiao Ling could buy things like that from his system mall and gift them to Chang, but the ones in Yanzhi’s space were far better than the ones sold in the system mall, maybe after he levels up more he could get higher level potions from the system mall. He thought.

"Of course little wife could gift the things in the space to whoever you want." Yanzhi spoke as a matter of facts, he doesn’t mind however Xiao Ling used his treasures. Whether for himself or to gift to someone, that, Yanzhi didn’t have a problem with.

"Okay! Thank you Xiang gong." Xiao Ling happily thanked, he frowned. "Why do you thank me for what is yours to begin with? Or do you not take what is mine as yours?" Yanzhi asked in a cold serious tone. "No! Don’t misunderstand. I apologize if you don’t like it. I just appreciate everything you do for me" Xiao Ling explained. Yanzhi stared at him silently for a moment before nodding.

"Well then Chang, come see me on the next supply day. I have some gifts for you."

"Mistress!" Chang was excited. He didn’t have to be told of what Xiao Ling wishes to gift to him, his eyes sparkled blinking like stars as he looked to Xiao Ling with praises and gratitude.

"Mistress!" Both Yue and Liu called out looking at him with big gooey eyes and expectations.

"Ha ha, okay you too. Inform me what you wish to be gifted with later, then I’ll prepare them" Xiao Ling said amused at their reactions.

"Whatever mistress gifts us, we’re happy with!" Liu nodded to Yue’s words. Xiao Ling and Yanzhi were happy with their words and way of thinking. "Okay then leave it to me, I’ll gift you with something awesome!" Xiao Ling promised. They were also with smiles as they conversed happily, Yanzhi sat listening with interest.

After days on the road with the Luo’s they finally part ways with the Luo’s. The journey which was going to take them about a week, took them a week and two days due to the delay on the way when they helped the Luo’s.
