Let him decide for himself." she demanded smiling seductively. She can finally get to see YanZhi when Xiao Ling wasn’t around so how could she miss her chance, this way she could seduce him and he’ll choose her over Xiao Ling. She thought naively.

"Chang, send miss Luo away!" an angry cold voice suddenly inetrrupted them.

"Master, Chang made a mistake" Chang cupped and said politely. "Miss Luo heard my master. Please go away from here" he said coldly.

"Master Jun, please I’d like to speak to you. Master Jun! Master Jun! It’s me Luo Xia, tell this servant to let me in now!" she raised up her voice. Yanzhi frowned more hearing her tone.

"Chang! Since you can’t carry out master’s order, master is taking away your next batch supply of spirit stones and elixirs. Try very hard to do with the stock you have now, until the supply day after the next" Yanzhi’s next words stunned him, hitting him like hammer making him feel dizzy and faint. Hearing the irony in Yanzhi’s words, Chang could tell that Yanzhi meant to go by his words and wouldn’t change his mind. Luo Xia not knowing what troubles she caused because she couldn’t understand their words, still stood there demanding entrance into the room. Chang felt that he was really unlucky, just when he warned Yue and Liu not to anger master because of her, he was the one who actually needed those words the most!

She suddenly felt chills. She turned towards Chang who’s demeanor turned more cold and no longer the carefree mood he was in moments ago. "Hey human girl, either you walk away from here the easy way or i help you the hard way!" his tone laced with venom, word by word he said with gritted teeth. His face expressionless and his tone void of emotions. There Luo Xia knew that if she insisted on staying, the boy in front of her would harm her, she could feel it in her so she made the right choice to leave.

"Scram!!!" Chang’s loud voice sounded startling her, she looked at him horrified before running from there with her tails between her thigh.

"That damn human!" his seething resentment reaching to the boiling point as he criticized. He turned towards the door. "M....master!" he called out aggrievedly, but he was returned with silence. Leaning his forehead on the door he sighed defeatedly and annoyed with himself, thinking he lost his next batch of supplies because of a human, he was ashamed.

Xiao Ling decided to cook something worthy with the magic beast’s meat given to him. He felt he couldn’t make something shabby with such a good thing. In the pot on the stove was Chinese-style braised beef one-pot which he decided to make, bubbling and it’s aroma filled the whole kitchen and even outside. The guests and workers alike smelling such an enticing and aroma all crowded outside the kitchen, because Yue and Liu stood guard at the kitchen’s entrance no one was able to cross into the kitchen. Yue and Liu stood guard because the process Xiao Ling was cooking couldn’t be seen my the crowd. In about an hour the dishes were all cooked, served on trays were the Chinese-style braised beef one-pot, beef and ginger stir fried, two vegetable dishes and and bowls of rice all arranged neatly and covered with white clean cloths.

Xiao Ling along with Yue and Liu each held a tray as they walked out of the kitchen, seeing the crowd Xiao Ling was a bit stunned.

"Ah little brother is done?" the inn keeper walked out of the crowds and greeted. Xiao Ling nodded "I’ve cleaned up the place" he informed. "Aiya~ little brother shouldn’t have done that, that’s the work of the workers here!" the inn keeper peeked into the kitchen and said regretfully seeing how the kitchen was wiped cleaned without any stain, Xiao Ling didn’t care about what the inn keeper was feeling in heart and walked away after saying what he wanted to say.

"Mr. Luo, Mrs. Luo and young master Luo" he greeted politely spotting the Luo’s in the crowds who also came to join the fun, the Luo’s like everyone presented stared at the trays in their hands greedily watching Xiao Ling walked away followed by Yue and Liu.

"Isn’t that the ger who was carried into the inn earlier by the handsome gentle man?" his ears picked up on the voices of the crowds as they talked about him.

"Shadow clone did Xiang gong really carry me into the inn?" he asked the shadow clone telepathically. "Yes. Boss’s partner did carry boss in, you were asleep at that time." the shadow clone answered respectfully. Xiao Ling smiled brightly feeling bashful, because he could tell from the voices of the people talking that they were envious of him. "What is it? say!" he ordered in a cold tone sensing the strangeness from the shadow clone. "Boss, you have changed. Boss your behavior sometimes is like that of someone who seeks attention...from their partner. Like..like the way that young girl was acting to seek attention from boss’s partner." the shadow clone tried to choose his words well.

Xiao Ling wasn’t at all bothered, he was just a bit shocked and curious. "Do i behave like that everywhere?" he asked. "No. Boss only behaves that way when you’re alone with boss’s partner" the shadow clone answered truthfully. "I see" Xiao Ling said as he was thinking about something. "That girl and me.....who do you thinking did better to call for Xiang gong’s attention?" he ask with seriousness. "Herh~ boss did better. Boss’s partner looked at you with interest and smiles whenever you did that, especially when you did that while sleeping earlier" the shadow clone said teasingly, Xiao Ling blushed embarrassedly.

"Mistress are you unwell? Your face is red" Yue’s question brought him back to reality as she asked with worry. "Ah no Yue, it’s because i was in the kitchen a while ago and the heat from the flames too" he lied without blinking. Yue nodded in understanding. "Boss why don’t you just let me have your body, you’re straying from your usual self" the shadow clone’s voice sounded in his minded which irritated him. "Shadow clone no. 1, fuck off!" "Yes boss!" the shadow clone’s voice ceased.

"Brother Xiao!" Xiao Ling stopped in his tracks when his name was called out in a high pitched voice from behind. He turned back and so did Yue and Liu. Behind them was Luo Xia who was panting with her face red from having ran mixed with anger. She was glaring angrily at Xiao Ling, he was dumbfounded for it was unknown to him what he did wrong to her. Yue and Liu had frowns seeing who it was.

"You..... you do not deserve him!" she declared boldly and daringly. The three frowned at her words inexplicably with complicated expressions.

"I do not understand what young miss Luo meant by that" Xiao Ling said in a not so calm voice trying to hold back his anger.

"Master Jun, you do not deserve master Jun. Not a peasant like you!" she said yet again with bold words. Xiao Ling’s expression cracked and distorted, cold and gloomy aura rised from him.

"Do not be conceited little girl. Being in a young body now and even a little child dares to try and convert what is mine!" his tone cold as his words flowed out of his mouth word by word. He had a look of irony and amusement which was terrifyingly calm.

"Just a moment" Liu pleaded as she used one of the techniques she was practicing, illusions on Luo Xia. Liu’s eyes turned to that of a snake’s black with slit-like gold pupils.

"Don’t kill her and don’t over do it" Yue warned and also walked away, Liu who looked shy and had a docile demeanor was the most ruthless and cruel amongst them. And in their snake form she had the most scariest and terrifying snake form with completely black scales, only her pupils were of different color. That was what she made Luo Xia see in illusion, coiled around Luo Xia was a black snake with cold scales and in it’s eyes was like staring into a void. Luo Xia gasped suffocated and petrified by what Liu was making her see, she couldn’t even find her voice let alone scream for help as she soiled herself and fainted on spot.

"Useless thing!" Liu sneered seeing her soiled herself and fainted less than a minute, Liu walked away from the scene leaving only the fainted Luo Xia on spot.
