When it was 9am-11pm midmorning they all decided to head back to their works, doctor Shi and Jinhua went back to Huichun.... Xiao Ling and YanZhi along with Yue went to the market and bought some vegetables, pork meat, fish,red mung beans, green mung beans and many more. They head to the animal market after making purchases of what they needed from the vegetable market.... they first walked into the horse stables to check out the horses

" two gongzi... are you here to buy a horse? " one of the sellers was fast enough to approach Xiao Ling and YanZhi first making the others throw their hands and glared at him disdainfully.... YanZhi nod

" we want to buy three very strong and healthy horses and a bull " the seller beamed happily as if he had just discovered a gold mine after hearing that from YanZhi.... the seller stretched his hand making a way for them to follow as he led them to one of the stables he was in charge of

" two gongzi these horses are amongst the best I have " they were about ten horses in the stable which the seller led them to.... YanZhi walked closer to the stable and inspected the condition of the horses before he nod, he pointed to about six horses and ask Xiao Ling and Yue to pick one each. YanZhi wanted them to pick the horses which they fancy themselves as the horses weren’t only be used to pull the carriage... it was also for them to ride. And he was planning to buy one each for the rest of his disciples when they come out of seclusion.

" Xiong Gong you choose for me... I don’t know anything about choosing a horse " Xiao Ling hesitated and threw back the ball to him

" don’t worry all horses I pointed to are good horses... you just need to choose one from them " Xiao Ling nod when YanZhi clarified....he chose the only white horse among the horses pointed, YanZhi choose a black horse and Yue a red horse.

" this gongzi knows good horses... it’s fifty taels each " YanZhi took hundred and fifty taels and gave it to the seller who weighted it and nod with a smiling face " gongzi do you want to buy a carriage too? " the seller couldn’t help but ask knowing that rich people who come to buy horses buy along with carriage, but YanZhi shook his head and said

" No! Just show us to the bull " the seller said sadly before leading them to the bull stables.... a strong smell of dung hit their faces when they walked to the bull stables making Xiao Ling and YanZhi raised their sleeve to cover their noses and Yue took out a silk handkerchief to cover hers, they could use qi to shield their noses from the smell but that will also make them loose their sense of smell too... so they chose to shield their noses the human way.

" six taels for adult old bulls, seven taels for a year old bulls and eight taels for four to five months old bulls " the seller said as he motioned them to follow showing them the bulls.... after inspecting the bulls YanZhi pointed a young bull amongst the four to five months old and paid for it. YanZhi bought three well made horse saddles from the seller and had them fixed on the horse, after buying everything needed there the seller pulled the horses and bull outside for them... Xiao Ling and Yue couldn’t stay still as their hands itched to touch the horse which they chose for themselves, YanZhi shook his head at their childishness and slowly approached his horse which looked terrified and neighed at him trying to step away from YanZhi.

YanZhi calmly held the reins and slowly pulled the horse to him, he placed his forehead against the forehead of the horse and starting feeding it his qi.... the horse calmed down and let Yanzhi sooth it as he fed it qi and stroked it’s hair. YanZhi pulled away his forehead after feeding it enough qi making the horse high spirited.. it used it’s muzzle on YanZhi as it breathed on his face as if it was asking for more qi making YanZhi chuckled

" little one.. don’t be greedy " YanZhi said in a stern voice and the horse nodded as if it understood what YanZhi said..... Xiao Ling and Yue who saw YanZhi interact with his horse couldn’t hold themselves back anymore and hurriedly approached their horses

" master the horse seems to be afraid of me " Yue pouted as she said unhappily making YanZhi chuckled lightly

" are you an idiot... have you ever seen a horse which isn’t afraid of snakes? Feed it your qi! You both already knew to feed qi to them right? " Yue made an ah sound before as Xiao Ling avoided YanZhi’s eyes pretending to already know that he was to feed qi to the horse... YanZhi stared at him blankly with his eyes smiling as he nervously placed his on the horse and started feeding it qi. YanZhi sighed and shook his head at his terrible disciples he couldn’t help but said sternly

" You dunces! " he said in a raised voice making them both pout like children...

" you do know how to ride a horse.... right? " YanZhi asked as he was about to mount on his horse

" I’ve never ridden one before but.... I’ve ride on a dragon before so I’ll figure it out, Xiong Gong shouldn’t worry about me " Xiao Ling said making YanZhi stared at him intrigued

" ah little wife you have to tell me all about your adventures one day.... I can’t wait to hear everything you’ve done " Xiao Ling shyly nodded in understanding and they all mounted their horses... YanZhi and Xiao Ling’s horse walked side by side as Yue’s walked behind them pulling the bull behind by the rope. The horses started to run in a slow pace after they left the county gate, they increased the pace slowly for Xiao Ling and Yue to get familiar with riding... they started to speed up a bit when they were finally used to the galloping of the horse.

When they reached the entrance of the

village they slowed down..... the villagers started to gossip when they heard the hooves of horses approached and turned their heads towards the sounds of the hooves. They were shocked to see YanZhi mounted on the horse like a general who just returned from war victorious and Xiao Ling like the son of a noble family and Yue like a young lady from a very wealthy family who would use horses like a plaything to relief boredom.... the villagers almost bowed their heads down to them just like they would do when they see royals, nobles and officials. YanZhi and his family right now looked like all those, dressed in expensive silk and cotton clothes with the embroidery looking like a master artist embroidered them. The villages started to whisper to each others talking about YanZhi strange eye color and his family as the horses slowly walked ahead but YanZhi and Xiao Ling paid no heed to them

" ah this YanZhi’s family are now the most richest in our village... they can even buy three horses and a bull! where do you think they got the money from? " a villager said as she watched their backs with envy and red eyes

" people have been saying they see them a lot in the county, do you think they’re doing business in the county which earns them a lot of silvers in just few days? " a man asked as he crossed his hands over his chest shaking his head wishing he was as lucky as them

" did you see those eyes?! rich people have all sorts of means, since he’s rich now he doesn’t want to look anything like he was when he was still with the Jun family! ah " a man commented

" ah just a few days ago a carriage came to pick them up along with the village head.... I went around asking about that carriage and found out that it was from Huichun shop, the famous doctor in the county doctor Shi who sent them that carriage. Some of the villagers who were starting to think about scurrying favors with YanZhi didn’t participate in the gossip but yet still they couldn’t conceal the envy and hatred in their eyes as they also stared quietly... like Dahu’s wife who was among the onlookers was thinking about pushing her husband to YanZhi since they were friends. The Xiao family who thought of Xiao Ling dead to them ever since they sold him to the Jun family for silvers were starting to think of approaching him... coincidentally Zhao Shi was also among the onlookers, she hurriedly ran home when YanZhi and his family had gotten far ahead from the entrance as she run home to give the news to the Jun family.

Yue unmounted from her house to open the lock when they reached home, she pushed open the door and YanZhi and Xiao Ling walked motioned their horse into the yard followed by Yue who led her horse in by the reins and the bull by the rope.... she was about to close the door when a leg when suddenly stretched blocking the door way. Yue stopped her action and opened the door again in anger

"What do you think you’re doing! who are you and what do you want! " she asked the ruffian who prevented her from closing the door.... Xangren who hurriedly ran to find YanZhi when his wife brought the news at home was still panting trying to catch his breath after running as if his life depended on it in this hot whether making him all sweaty. He wiped off the sweat on his face after catching his breath and started to check Yue out from head to toes licking his dry lips.... he forgot what had brought him over when he laid his eyes on the beautiful young lady in front of him.

" are you the servant of YanZhi who the villagers talked about? " Xangren asked in a hoarse voice as his throat felt dry from running, infact this was the second time he had seen Yue but this was the first time he saw her up this close.. the first time he saw her he didn’t pay attention to her as it was silver that brought him over at that time. Seeing her now so close he could see clearly her beauty making him swallow hard and his adam’s apple go up and down, Yue was disgusted by his crude stares which made her even more angry wanting to forget her master’s warning and cutting down the hooligan in front of her at once!

" who are you and what do you want from here?! " she asked again in annoyance bringing Xangren back to his sense

" this miss’s beauty is outstanding which got me distracted for a moment there... my surname name is Jun and given name Xangren, I heard my eldest brother was back so I came to see him " Xangren said in a very cocky tone which let out smokes from Yue’s head as if a volcano which was on the verge of disrupting.

" Yue who’s at the door? " YanZhi couldn’t help but ask from the inside as she was taking long in just closing the door.

" a color-seeking wolf! " Yue answered back still annoyed which made YanZhi arched his brows, Yue had never spoken to him in that tone before so he was baffled thinking who could that be whom she claims was lecher, in had already taken back his senses and was paying attention to sensing around him.
