" my wife needs you to made a stall to put in front of the shop and a carriage and a cart... those are the designs for them, how long will it take " brother Song was so happy to see another magnificent sketched plans made by Xiao Ling and the novelty in them

" ah boss... please give me all your carpentry works in the future, I promise not to ever disappoint you... " brother Song pleaded as he studied the sketches " I can finish this all along with the shop... leave it to me " brother Song promised. They walked out of the restaurant and he took them to the location of his shop, coincidentally for Xiao Ling and YanZhi the blacksmith was right beside brother Song’s carpentry.

" Old Lei! " brother Song called out and a man who was neither very old nor young walked out holding a hammer

" brother Song what brings you here... I thought you were busy working " old Lei asked

" old Lei I brought some important guests... they’re are the owners of the restaurant where I’m working. They liked the way you crafted the sink so they came to see you for more work " brother Song explained... old Lei quickly put away the hammer and hurried to Xiao Ling and YanZhi... he cupped his hands and greeted happily

" two masters... I was even thinking about how to meet you. The sink thing brother Song asked me to craft was very novel and useful, I thinking if you could sell it for the blueprint " he asked YanZhi since YanZhi was a man and the head and Xiao Ling was a married ger... brother Song already informed him of who sketched the plan but he couldn’t just ask the wife directly when the husband was around, if it was to be only Xiao Ling then that’ll be different but now Xiao Ling was with his husband so he had to ask YanZhi for permission. " but.... you can only start selling the sink after two months... it was originally designed for the restaurant so selling the sink outside before the restaurant opens is like taking away something which adds value to the restaurant and we can’t have you do that. The design will only be sold to for fifty taels... we’ll be signing a contract which will clearly state that you will not mass produce the sink until two months after our restaurant is opened, and if you don’t follow the contract and mass produce the sink before the restaurant opens or not yet the stated time, you pay us an amount of a thousand taels for damage " YanZhi stated as he randomly mentioned a price for the design since they’re not in need of money but at the same time they didn’t know old Lei so they couldn’t just dash him the design.

" ah that you, masters I agree " old Lei readily stamped on the contract which YanZhi just wrote as no one knew where he pulled the ink stone and brush along with the paper from.. Xiao Ling also stamped his thumb and took one contract and old Lei was given a copy.

" old Lei let’s talk about why we’re here... we want you to crsft some things for us " YanZhi said and passed him and lot of paper sheet with different designs. Old Lei felt his heart beat faster as he studied the novelty of the designs... all things he had never seen before which made him excited more than he was when he crafted the sink

" we want you to mold a lot for us... we know it might take time to craft the number we need so we’ll give you time, but we’ll come take the number you could produce when the restaurant is to start working. " YanZhi explained

" ah masters don’t worry... I won’t be taking any work from anyone and focus on your work, I’ll do my best to craft the right number you need before the restaurant is opened!... " old Lei promised. They chatted for a while and Xiao Ling informed of the number he needed for every design he gave... after they left the smithy they asked brother Song to take them to where porcelains are crafted and they gave the designs to the porcelain crafter.

After finalizing with the porcelain crafter too and signing an agreement of not disclosing of the designs with him they returned back to the shop, the reason why they didn’t sign such an agreement with old Lei was because brother Song knew him and he seemed honest too but they didn’t know the porcelain crafter so they couldn’t afford to take such a risk with him. Jinhua was already waiting for them with doctor Shi along with the chef he mentioned of. Doctor Shi walked to them in hurry and they greeted each other

" brother Yan I heard you dropped by earlier... do forgive me as I wasn’t there to entertain you. " doctor Shi said apologize

" don’t say that... we didn’t dropped by then to stay long and what we needed help with brother Qing lent us a ear and a helping hand, we’re thankful for that " YanZhi smiled and said to him meaningfully

" brother Yan what happened to your eyes? the pupils are green " doctor Shi asked with professional tone as a doctor because for as long as he can remember YanZhi’s pupils were black since they starting knowing each other

" I also wanted to ask about that... but I thought it’ll be rude so I didn’t " Jinhua added

" that’s the color of my pupils but because people find it strange I found a way to concealed them... my wife said he likes their vibrant color so I thought why not maintain them from now on for him to admire " YanZhi said with a gloating smirk making both Jinhua and doctor Shi cringe and disdained but Xiao Ling giggled happily adding salt to their wounds

" brother Yan please stop feeding us dog food! " doctor Shi cried... Jinhua kept stealing glaces at YanZhi as he thought about how he could conceal his pupils thinking it must be the master cultivator who he got him the pocket space ring... YanZhi saw him glancing but ignored pretending it wasn’t him who he was glancing at.

" ah brother Lin this is Shen Yanbei the chef I mentioned of... as you can see he is very young and can work for you for many years if they are no mishaps. He’s hardworking and very honest, he’s crafts are good and they’re a lot of people who can vouch for him about everything I said " Jinhua introduced and said

" Jinhua is right... I can also vouch " doctor Shi added... Yanbei stood mute not uttering a word waiting for his new bosses to decide whether they’ll hire him or not

" hmm since both of you vouch for him then I’ll trust you on that.... Yanbei right? " Xiao Ling asked him

" yes boss " he answered enthusiastically and cupped his hands

" come find me in big stone village tomorrow... we’ll see how your cooking will fare and when you’re able to do a good job, You’ll sign a contract with me and I’ll start teaching you the recipes for the restaurant... you can go back now " Xiao Ling said making him more excited

" thank you bosses... please I’ll take my leave now " Yanbei said as he took one last peek at the magnificent interior design of the shop and thought he had to do a good job tomorrow in order to be able to work in this restaurant before he walked himself out.
