Master Zhang drummed his fingers on the table as he listened to the results of spying on YanZhi for days which bore no fruits.... he sighed and shook his head defeatedly

" the ninja nodded and went back into the shadows.... master Zhang kept sighing and stroking his beard not knowing what to think of YanZhi.

The first place YanZhi and Xiao Ling decided to go when they got to the county was Huichun shop.... when they got there, Qing Jinhua was helping the apprentices served people behind the counter, he beamed with happiness when his eyes fell on them.

" ah you’re in luck brother Lin, I have someone in mind. He used to work at a famous restaurant that was until yesterday... when I asked why he quit the workers said it was because the shopkeeper of the restaurant treats him bad. " ah okay then I’ll leave the matter of the chef to brother Jinhua.... when can I meet him? " Xiao Ling asked..

" since you’re in a hurry I could bring him to you today.... he stays in the county here " said Jinhua

" ah I’ll be glad if brother Jinhua could bring him to the shop now... that’s where we’re headed. " Jinhua agreed to meet Xiao Ling at his shop later with the chef.... Xiao Ling bought twenty catties each of the spices he bought before from the apprentice. Xiao Ling thanked Jinhua for his help before they walked out, on the way going to their shop Xiao Ling raised his hands over his head in wanting to shade himself from the scorching sun, YanZhi turned his attention to him as he watched Xiao Ling’s measly actions dumbfoundedly making Yue almost laugh earning her a very fierce glare from YanZhi

" say little wife.... didn’t you engulf yourself with qi to shield you from the sun? " YanZhi asked strangely

" can I do that? ... " Xiao Ling stopped in his tracks and turned to YanZhi as he asked... YanZhi was so speechless that he couldn’t speak for a whole minute staring at Xiao Ling trying to figure whether Xiao Ling was actually dumb or just pretending

" .... you dunce! didn’t I already tell you that you could use qi for a whole of things. Why can’t you engulf yourself in qi when you can infuse it into other things? Hurry and engulf yourself in your qi... it can shield you from both heat and cold! " YanZhi lectured making Xiao Ling pouted resentfuly, he quickly did as he was told and immediately felt refreshed

" wah~ I can’t feel the heat anymore.... Xiong Gong you didn’t have to call me a dunce you know... I’m still an amateur in the world of cultivation " Xiao Ling argued

And if we tell them that we walk they’ll definitely think that we’re lying, and we’ll be taking stuffs from home to the shop in the future, we’ll hire people and buy slaves so we have to start doing things the human ways too " Xiao Ling advised and YanZhi agreed with him... he was already thinking about that as people will start asking and with the way their living now, people’s concentrations are on them.

" we’ll visit the animal market before going home " YanZhi informed

" ah I knew you would agree so i even have already designed a carriage for us and a cart... I’ll give it to the carpenter to make it for us. " YanZhi started laughing hard making the crowd turned and watch him as he wipe away the imaginary tears from the corner of his eyes

" ah little wife is fast at making things.... so do whatever you want, I’ll always support you " YanZhi said in a serious tone making Xiao Ling more happy.

Brother Song came to greeted them as soon as they walked into the shop.... he took them around leaving the work for his team as Xiao Ling and YanZhi inspected their craftsmanship

" You’re doing better than I thought and the progress is also in a good pace.... I’m glad I left this work in brother Song’s capable hands " Xiao Ling praised.

" ah thank you for giving us a chance to show you what we can do.... at this pace we’ll finish before the agreed time. We’re done with the kitchen, do you want to see it? " brother Song asked

" ah yes yes yes, that I do... the kitchen is the most important place in a restaurant " Xiao Ling and YanZhi followed brother Song to the newly built kitchen... Xiao Ling couldn’t help but laughed happily as everything in the kitchen was made exactly just like in the plans, the kitchen cabinets, the sink side where dishes will be washed... the hangers and hooks on the wall, everything was done neatly with enough space to fit five to six people in the kitchen and there’ll still be space left. Xiao Ling then made up his mind to bring one of the oven to the restaurant just for decoration to make it look like a perfect modern kitchen, even if the oven can’t be used to bake in the restaurant it can still be used to heat and warm food.
