Chapter 151: Ch. 68 Part 1

.....

Fwoosh! Clang! Fwam! Clang! Clang!

Xiao Ling standing on a high ground stared indifferently to the battle field watching the disciples face off against their attackers. One could see on his indifferent face that he had no impression of their attackers and saw them to be nothing.

"Tsk! Let’s end things quickly. There’s no time to waste anymore. Shadow lead the undeads and join the fight. Bee and Yue, Knight and Liu, Frost King and Chang, Lin and Feng and Baihu and Mei Lin you all in two groups like this, deal with the sects coming to attack us directly. I will defend the sect with the rests." he made the arrangements.

"Okay!" they all cupped respectfully and without asking anything else they left to do what was ordered of them.

"Daddy what about me?" ༼;´༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽ Yicheng asked making an aggrieved expression as she watched the others leave. Jiaolong rolled his eyes at her looking to the battle field with a lazy and carefree look. Suddenly he took off in the air "daddy, I will go help uncle Shadow!" after saying that he dashed straight down the battle field like a cannon ball.

Xiao Ling shook his head and said nothing. Yicheng was stunned by his sudden action and also took off without even informing Xiao Ling. Xiao Ling looked at the direction they left feeling helpless at their competitive behavior. Xiao Ling snorted softly, he didn’t have any intention of stopping her so seeing her leave in a hurry and fearing him he felt funny.

.....

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The continuos sound of the bell sounded bringing a group of monks in dismay.

"There’s an enemy attack!"

"There’s an enemy attack!"

A young monk not less than ten shouted saying while running all over the place. The monks started running out of their abodes with angry and panic expressions.

"Everyone defend against the enemy!"

"Protect the children and take them to a safe place!"

"Do not waste time and get on with it! Take out your weapons and charge!"

A monk looking to be superior to the others quickly made a decisive arrangements. After hearing what he said the monks regained their composures and went to get their weapons.

....

Outside the door of the Monk Sect stood Knight in his black armor with his huge sword on his shoulder. Beside him was Liu dressed in pink and in her slender hand was her sword. They both stood leisurely as if giving the people behind the huge door time to get ready for their invasion. They didn’t have those people in their eyes and those people were considered relatively weak in their eyes.

After standing for quite some time, Knight finally made his move. Raising the sword off his shoulder with one hand he swung it at the door. The door immediately shattered to blisters before the sword itself actually came into contact and the front wall collapsed by the the strong force creating dust.

"Elder brother you’re really strong!" Liu said shyly and was full of amazement and admirations of him.

Knight chuckled at her words and smiled but because of the helmet covering his whole face she could only hear a muffled sound. Knight raised his hand and ruffled through her hair gently before saying "let’s go in. The sooner we’re done the sooner we get to go back." his tone was full of laziness.

"En!" Liu nodded and walked in after him.

Stepping in through the completely collapsed wall the first thing that came into their eyes were dead bodies. Those dead bodies were of the monks closest to the wall when Knight attacked, amongst the bodies a few alive ones were spotted but were in a dire state. But Knight and Liu had no intention to completely finish them off, since they were unable to fight they no longer matter to them.

The monks who suffered heavy losses before the fight even began to panick even more and seeing that their attackers were only two, they soon returned back to their arrogant selves and charged crazily towards Knight and Liu.

"Ahhhhh!" Slash!

Liu slashed beheading a monk with a wooden spear who charged to her, her movements flawless with an indifferent look.

Liu: Plum Blossom Sword Arts, Fourth Form: Flower Dance!

Her voice sounded quiet, she dashed and wherever she passed heads befall and mirage of flower petals were seen.

The monks witnessing this were in states of confusion and bewilderment. Never did they expect this, to be done in the hands of a small girl. Their people couldn’t defend against her as she continued with a one man slaughter against them, they watched her ruefully but no matter how hard they tried to fight she was not easy to even get close to at all.

Knight chuckled thinking Liu was very excited. He stretched and also began with his attacks. Where Liu’s movements were elegant and graceful, he’s was rough and crude sending dusts and people flying into the air.

While he was fighting he sensed the pure energy of light as a Buddha palm was headed to Liu. He quickly discarded his sword and made some seals and chant as he sent a Buddha palm more gigantic than the one which was meant to attack Liu to block.

Liu who was almost done in by the Buddha palm continued on with slaying without looking back although she just momentarily escaped being hurt big time. Monk techniques were nemesis to demons, but she trusted her back to Knight and believed he’d take care of things like that. The monk whose technique was block with a much bigger one turned to Knight in disbelieve and stunned. He clearly saw and heard Knight chanted the sutra which left him doubtful of the identity of the one in the armor. Clearly these two were elders from TianXin sect and they’ve seen them before, so how come he is able to block his attack and also use monk arts? He thought with a solemn look.

"You....are you a monk?" he asked doubtfully.

Knight felt insulted by his question making his frowned in annoyance. "Where the fuck did you get such stupid thoughts from? Did you see me looking like you bald monkeys?" he spat back harshly.

The monk choked by his words and couldn’t help debating whether he made the wrong assumptions. Obviously this person couldn’t be a monk with his use of words, but it was obliviously monk arts that he used and by the looks of it his comprehension was almost like that of the head monk’s!

"If you’re not a monk, how come you use monk’s art?" he still asked looking to be interested in finding out the answers.

Knight sneered "that is of no concern of yours." he was disgusted by these self righteous monks who go around and behave in righteousness but infact are far treacherous than people who go around and commit evil deeds.

Monk: "..." (* ̄ー ̄)

".....You speak as if you hate us monks." he showed a dissatisfied expression for a moment before masking it away and looking clueless. Infact he wanted to fight Knight but the difference in strength was long seen, what he was doing now was trying to stall Knight and give the others time to hide the children. Under no circumstances should the children be brought to harm, because if something was to happen to them those children will be the ones to continue forward with everything.

Knight sneered. He wasn’t dumb as to not see the little thoughts of the monk, he just didn’t take them seriously and Liu by herself was enough to deal with them. The only reason he was paired with Liu to come here was because of the monk’s arts which was a bit troublesome for demons.

"You monks from the righteous factions keeping saying monks and immortal cultivators won’t involve themselves in the businesses of the world and are not interested in worldly things." Knight spoke in a leisurely tone and was very willing to accompany him. "But there are fights going on everywhere in the world...all because of worldly things and greed. And behind those fights are you righteous immortal cultivators and monks who want to control everything. You make yourselves feel supreme like gods. But in the end there are real supreme beings in the world who actually see the likes of you to be nothing but specks of dusts in their eyes....and when they take actions, specks like you could only sit and wait to die!"

As soon as his words ended he swung his sword. The monk who was unprepared and wasn’t expecting him to do that was directly hit and thrown back clashing into buildings before he fell to the ground on his face. He vomited blood and laid down unable to move and looked to be dying. In the first place he was no match for Knight and being hit directly like that it was oblivious that he wouldn’t survive no matter what. He was unwilling, he didn’t want to accept this. He stubbornly crawled while grunting and panting breathlessly. Knight also walked to him slowly as if he was the only person in the world and nothing could bother him. He stood blocking the path of the monk. The monk raised his head with bloodied face to him making Knight very disgusted.

The monk slowly brought his hands to Knight and held his leg "... please....spare ...the ....young...onesss." he struggled to say before completely losing his breath.

Knight watched expressionlessly as his hand dropped leaving blood stains on him. With indifference he walked around the body and went to take a look at the situation.

In a room somewhere Shan Xing was shivering under a blanket. Coming back from being scared to almost insanity by Yanzhi he had locked himself in room and refused to go out. Even when hearing the commotions outside he didn’t dare to take a look. I don’t know if that was his luck or what, but it seemed he was missed by Knight and Liu sparing his life.
