Mei Lin swinging her whip around rolled her eyes at him and couldn’t help but think of him as childish.

Standing in the midst of dead bodies, Bee’s brows furrowed looking to be in deep thoughts. Yue seeing him to be absent minded, after finishing off the last group of people quickly returned to his side.

"Brother Bee what’s wrong?" she asked in a serious tone.

"Most of the people here are very weak with only a few number of strong ones." he said to her. She looked at him confused and was unable to understand what he wanted to say to her.

Seeing her still looking clueless "their sect master isn’t here. And by the looks of things it seems immortal Pei should have gone to our sect...or something else happened which we’re unaware of." Bee stated his doubts. Bee took out the communication jade from his space ring and contacted Knight.

"Hey man, miss me already?" the loud voice of Knight came through as soon as the jade glowed. Bee rolled his eyes.

"The head monk isn’t on your side, right?" he didn’t want to talk nonsense with Knight and asked straight forward.

"How did you know?" Knight put aside joking around and asked in a serious tone.

"Immortal Pei is not here either. And that man is also missing." Bee told him.

"Are you thinking they’ve gone to the sect?" Knight asked with a snort.

"Maybe....or could be related to boss Yan. What boss Yan went out to do was related to immortal Pei." Bee said thoughtfully. "I’ll contact the other guys and ask on their side too, go back at once when you’re done with your side."

"I know!" they both hanged up right after discussing. Bee quickly contacted the others and found out that the sect masters on their side where also not available.

Looking around him at the enemies with most dead and the rest injured and unable to pick up their weapons anymore Bee no longer wanted to waste time with them.

"Let’s go back too." he said to Yue who nodded and followed not having any problem with his decision.

"Forgive me your highness, immortal Pei couldn’t be found." the guard bowed respectfully as he reported to King Pingxi who was rubbing between his brows and looking very tired as if he had not slept for days.

"En! Get up and report what you’ve found out." King Pingxi hummed and ordered.

"The fifth prince’s palace was invaded by the third and fourth elder of TianXin sect. They suffered heavy loss and almost all the members of the fifth prince’s palace had met their demise. The fifth prince was heavily wounded but it seems the third and fourth elder didn’t come to kill him so they left him with injuries but not life threatening." the guard reported.

King Pingxi sneered coldly. "He should be thankful that TianXin sect didn’t put him in their eyes. Where’s that self proclaimed immortal now that TianXin is answering to their attacks, probably running for his life with those charlatans of monks and sect masters." King Pingxi had a satisfied smirk on his face. How long he had waited for those charlatans to get what they deserved, and unfortunately for them they went to trouble those they should never have disturbed...the sect of a true immortal cultivator.

The guard was dumbfounded by the creepy smile forming on King Pingxi’s face but he chose to feign ignorance and continued reporting. "The emperor’s state is getting worse everyday and is in a dire situation. The palace is a mess now with the princes fighting each other and the ministers taking sides of their chosen candidates to take the throne."

"Hah! What good children my emperor brother has given birth to. None of them have him in heart, their all like poisonous gasses just waiting to pollute him." a wryly smile on his face. "Tsk! If not for the promise I made to emperor father I wouldn’t even care about him!" taking out a jade box from under the table he threw it on the table. "Take this to eunuch Lang and tell him to make sure this gets fed to emperor brother."

The guard took the jade box as he was dismissed by King Pingxi to go and carry out his order. King Pingxi sighed helplessly resting back on the chair. His thoughts running out thinking what he just gave the emperor was cheap for him. The emperor’s current state of loosing vitality everyday which was caused by immortal Pei’s way of embarking on cultivating immortals. The elixir now was gotten for him by Jinhua. After his eldest son Jinhua and his newly wedded husband went to worship under immortal Yan, they’ve cut off ties relating to the world.... including their father-son relationship. Although King Pingxi felt very uncomfortable about it but he was very understanding for his son. Such good opportunity which had been presented to his son he was very happy about. From what they were saying it seemed they were having an argument and the empress was preventing anyone except the eunuch from entering the room. The emperor couldn’t help be doubtful and curious but unfortunately even if he wanted to hear there was so little he could catch on.

"Your majesty! Your majesty!" the eunuch shouted coming to stand beside the bed while pulling his neck and watching whether he was followed. The emperor became suspicious of his actions. Don’t blame him for being suspicious, at this stage even his most trusted person could be bought by others.

The enough took out the jade box passed on to him by the guard King Pingxi sent. "This was sent by his highness King Pingxi!" the eunuch said excitedly. "This is a cure for your majesty gotten by prince Jinhua!" he added sounding more excitedly.

The emperor’s eyes widened and stared at the eunuch with eyes which seemed to almost bust out of their sockets. ’Elixir!’ he thought. He had long being informed that prince Jinhua and his newly married husband had followed to serve the mysterious white haired man with miraculous things. He even confronted King Pingxi about this matter and even accused him of treachery. And he had been known to all the deeds of the mysterious white haired man from immortal Pei, he was even included in the ploy to seize TianXin sect and all the cultivation resources there...but in the end, this is what had become of him.

He watched in a complicated state as eunuch Lang took out a red-black pill, it was a single pill in the box. "Your majesty would you like to take it?" the eunuch carefully asked. Although he really wanted to shove the elixir into the emperor’s mouth but he dared not. Knowing the complicated relationship between the emperor and King Pingxi, as well as the involvement of the emperor in ploy to get rid of TianXin sect eunuch Lang was troubled. He didn’t want the emperor to refuse because of his pride and arrogance.

But infact eunuch Lang thought too much. At this stage where did the emperor still have arrogance, he wanted to take the elixir more than eunuch Lang wanted him to take it. One could tell that what was being shared to them was a very important information which looked to be of their interest.

The woman spoke for long and the information she shared to them was concerning TianXin sect.

"How do we trust that your information is authentic?" head monk asked, his eyes lustful as he tried to see through the cloak covering her whole body.

"You can trust my words." the woman said as she took off the cloak hood on her head "My name is Qing Shuge, I used to be a disciples of TianXin sect. But not anymore, I despise that place and want nothing but TianXin sect’s destruction!"
